Jake Gyllenhaal is back! A very hairy Jake and a fork out in Hollywood 23 July

Jake Gyllenhaal is back! Yesterday (23 July), Jake was out shopping in Hollywood meaning that at long last vital questions can be answered. 1. Jake's beard has indeed been enjoying the benefits of the summer sunshine and has been growing faster than most people's tomatoes. Evidently, Jake's itchy tolerance levels have increased in recent years - either that or he's playing George V in his next movie.

2. Jake appears to have regained much of the muscle that he had lost after Prince of Persia and this is despite not having the long hair for the wash and condition regimen. He's most definitely buffer. 3. Jake has kept the new shoes despite the splodge on them. 4. Jake has lost all his cutlery and is resorting to a plastic fork and spoon. 5. Stand Up to Cancer remains on Jake's mind. 6. Jake's one of these cool people who doesn't get tangled up in his headphone wires. 7. Jake is hot. Great to see you back, Jake!

Many thanks to IHJ for the new pictures!

Did we determin how many 'e's it should have?

Wow, Annaeh - thank you soo so much - what a wonderful thing to say - thank you - that means a lot :)

  5. I think the number of e's should be proportionate to the level of excitement being experienced. :D

  9. LOL and squee! Well thank you so very much Jacob, I`m glad you read my message. :DDD

He really does look like he buffed up and the beard lives on. Definately not my favorite look but I`m just glad to see him again. Now, we need a LAOD trailer and a new project anouncement. Is he just waiting for us to ask for those nicely too? :DD

  11. We ask and we receive - whoowheee! A little hairier than I (and many of us) prefer but I'm assuming that won't last too much longer. I'm laughing out loud at your rundown of observations, WDW, and that possibly Jake's itchy tolerance levels have increased!

Looking forward to MORE pictures. Enjoy your time up north WDW (I'm sure there is a movie scheduled for this evening)?!

    Cheers! :-)

  12. Great to see him again, but I bet he enjoyed the pap-less time in MV. I wondered how long it would be before the paps spotted him. Looks like he is restocking his pantry. Now if he'd only invite me over for dinner :D

  13. Waaaaheyy :D Hello Jake! Nice to see you :)

I'm going to go against the general oppinion. I LIKE the beard ;) He is very good at growing them and it's neat and tidy, not unruly like a certain Mr Pitt. Especially nice when it's balanced out with the longer hair :D I wonder if he wears the SU2C stuff when he knows he will be papped to get the message out :)

Thanks WDW, lets all pray for a trailer soon SOOON *crosses fingers*

  14. Hi everyone! Great to see you all - I'm having very bad internet issue right now so fingers crossed this posts!

    Thanks Linda!

Yeay! Olympia, Jake is listening to you, just write him another letter - can you ask him about the LAOD trailer and the next project? Looking at the muscles, Jake has to be preparing for something :)

Hi there Carol! I do love your pic :D

Hey BBMISwear :-) It's so good to see him. I do kinda like the beard on him - loved it in Brothers. I need to see the hair to see how it matches :) I'm so demanding...

I'm afraid to say I've been watching Clash of the Titans this evening, which came out today - I'm looking forward very much to showing my mum PoP when that comes out so she can see how films like this are done properly :D

Hi Sweetpea :) It really is great to see him. I think the cap suggests he's ready to put being papped to a good use :D

Hey Silver! Oh yes big relief it's not a Brad Pitt beard, that is not a good look! Although Brad looks much better now he's had a good go at it.

I definitely think that Jake wears the SU2C stuff to help get the message across - Jake knows his celebrity and he knows he'll be papped and he's using it for a great good :)

Yes, trailer please, Jake! And a poster, and a box of chocolates wouldn't hurt either...

  15. Argh Silver! I don't know what I'd do if Jake grew a beard like Brad Pitt!!! *shudders* What a horrible, horrible picture you put in my head. Excuse me while I go wash my brain with a big dose of gorgeous, lightly stubbled Jake. :D

  16. I know, Olympia! It's not a good image - especially when the beard had bells in it....!

  17. Jake is back - yay!

I think he is wearing his movie star disguise - cap, glasses, dressed down and as full of a beard as possible. I think he grows the beard as a disguise, because he loves getting out and doing his own food shopping for all those gourmet meals he cooks.

    Just look at those arms...sigh.

    Cheers

  18. H Tui! I can't stop looking at those arms - just gorgeous!

I feel he's lonely, off to HW to cheer him up. Those veins in the arms are killing me. So darn sexy. Can I get a squee?

  20. Hi there Jake Fan! Jake needs to cook us all a meal so we can tell him how much we love his arms - definitely very squeeeeeworthy! Do love Jake's arms :)

  23. Hi there everyone! made it back home, back to internet and to the last day of the Tour de France :)

Hi Sabina! I know, I've been imagining that as well... :D

Hi there TD! Totally agree, no matter the hairy levels, it all doesn't matter as he's Jake. Yes, thank you - all is well now and glad to be back home after a long drive.

Have a good Sunday everyone :)

  24. Yay! Great to see him back in town. :-)
And he's not the only one - though admittedly 'back in town' is far more glamorous when you live in LA instead of Holland... ;-) I'm looking forward to catching up on all the goodies from the last few weeks. I've missed reading you WDW!
    Have a great Sunday everybody!

  25. Lady Ekster, great to see you back! Hope you had a good time :)

    ReplyDelete
  26. Thank you! :-)
I've had a great time in sunny southern France. Among other things I found time to watch a couple of Jake movies I hadn't seen yet. After your WDW Guide to Jake's movies I decided to watch the second half of Moonlight Mile - and yes, I enjoyed it much better than the first half. :-)
Also, I have finally seen Brothers... what a great movie. Goosebumps at Tobey's acting and Jake with the two girls made my heart melt.

  27. That sounds good, lady Ekster :D And I'm glad to hear you saw the end of Moonlight Mile and Brothers!

  28. My goodness, Jake sure can grow an impressive beard and mustache. Just gorgeous! Dark, rich, full.... ahem. Thanks, WD&W! :)

  29. Hi there 20:20! He really can! I've addressed the issue some more in the new post :)

  30. The clothes are better and he has a new shoes too.
Jake Gyllenhaal must to go in classical or jazz ballet to learn how to walk. He walk as a mokey and for an actor is very important to know how they can walk. The are difference between a king and bettler when they are walking etc...

  31. Anonymous - Mind boggles... shakes head... rolls eyes... You do know this is a JG fansite?

    ReplyDelete
  32. The people here haven't any idea what an actor must study to play good.
The first thing that an actor must know is how to walk. Jake Gyllenhaal walk like a monkey. He must learn how to walk to play the character of a film or theater!

  33. What an expert you are... I repeat, you're in the wrong place, anonymous person.

    ReplyDelete
  34. I think we are in the presence of a great expert in how actors should walk - either that or some saddo who has nothing better to do and quite clearly does NOT know what they are talking about - get a life anonymous!

    ReplyDelete
  35. I love the Gyllenwaddle! Its amazingly cute and anyway it always seems to me that amazingly fit guys have a particular kind of walk/run that indicates immediately to any dilligent fit/hot man-watcher, that they are indeed very fit? Perhaps Anonymous is just not very good at spotting a fit man?
