Merry Christmas everyone!

After one of the coldest, chilliest, most shiveringly freezing nights Britain's had since Friday 4 January, 10,000 BC, it's a warming pleasure to put the mulled wine on the stove, eat yet more bloody cheese and wish you all a very merry Christmas!

I hope that in between playing with pressies and watching adverts for Toy Story 3D, you fit in a little bit of Jake today.

Merry Christmas! See you on the other side...

  8. Hello everyone! Hope you're all having a fantastic day. It's fair to say that we have more bottles of whisky here than in the whole of Scotland. Apologies to everyone for the whisky deficit... No chocolates, mind :D

  12. It's not particularly cold here in Boston, but a monster snowstorm is coming right at us. The *least* snow accumulation will likely be 12 inches. They're not ruling out twice that amount. But, we're New England, and we deal with this almost every winter. I never learned to like it, though. My reform plan for the climate is to go directly from New Year's Day into Spring. :-)

When I talked about "Little Fockers" the other day, I didn't meniotn that Blythe Danner was in the movie. She's not a direct Jake link, but her daughter (Gwynneth Paltrow) hosted a dinner party in England, and invited Jake and a (female) country singer....

    Merry Christmas Mermon!

    Thanks 22:26 :D

Hope you had a lovely day, Eureka!

Hi there Paul! Good luck with the snowstorm. I've had more than enough of winter myself...

  14. I love that singing clip. Jake is just adorable. I like expression of his face and the warm look of his eyes. I would gladly listen to that song lying comfortable in his arms and trying to fall asleep :).

Low temperature came back to Poland. -7 so far. Have a warm evening.

  15. I'm just watching on TV one of my favourite movies - "First knight" - with Sean Connery, Julia Ormond and Richard Gere. I like very much the dialogue in that movie. Brilliant!
Unfortunately - no connection to Jake :) At least I can't find it. Maybe similar to Jake's - scruff on the king Arthur's face :).

  16. Hi Mermon! It's been like that round here too - very unusual. I like that film :D There's a shortage of good movies on here at the moment.
