Jake Gyllenhaal hot and cool with sushi - LA 9 May 2011

BLOGGER IS BACK! Although still missing the latest post - and if you didn't see it, it was superb - but it's good news. Post to come when I feel that it won't get eaten...

It might be warm in LA at the moment but the temperature's still rising. Contributing to the increase in heat is one Jake Gyllenhaal. Yesterday, Jake popped in to Murakami in Hollywood to buy sushi and a coke. Has heat ever looked so cool?

Many thanks to IHJ for the wonderful pictures!

  1. I love the way he tucks in his shirt behind his belt while leaving the rest loose.

I don't really care for shusi that much but I will make an exception for this particular serving.

    Thanks WDW!

  3. For hotness... Always Coca Cola (now we have more in common lol)... and yeah MrsJG... the shirt tucked behind the belt is a signature to love... Yum!

  4. I had sushi once when I was pregnant, and I didn't like it at all! And I prefer Pepsi. Oh, Jake! I thought, we have more in common! :)

Look at his arms - he keeps himself in good shape for cop's movie. The last weeks of lazy time for him.

  5. Hello everyone!

I love that too, Mrs JG :) I love how Jake does that. I like sushi but ugh coke... ;)

Hi Susan! Jake is such a great advertiser for all manner if foods. I'm not sure sushi goes with coke though!

    Hi there Snow!

Jake's arms are just gorgeous, Mermon!

  7. I love how he leaves some of his shirt undone. I don't like coke either but I'd be glad to bring Jake a coke anytime he WANTS.

I know he'll never lose his car keys he has them on a leash

  10. I also was going to mention the shirt thing before I read MrsJG's post! Jake is the coolest hot I have ever seen!!! Thanks for the pics!!!

  11. I think I know why he did the cool/hot shirt thing -- to distract us from the SHOES! lol!!

  12. @Mermon. Thanks for the link - I haven't been laughing like that in ages. And I have to agree with her. There is absolutely no reason why Duncan could have not included a shot of Jake rubbing baby oil on his naked body. Why didn't Duncan think of that while shooting the movie?

  13. Morning everyone! I'm sneezing like anything today. pollen is out to get me.

Hi there Carol! They definitely don't go together. I'm not one for fizzy soft drinks (except if they have rum or pimms in them).

    Morning Sweetpea :)

That's a very funny comment, Mermon - thanks for the link!

    Morning Lilly :D

Ahh the shoes... Hi Gyllenhaalisgr8 :)

Hopefully directors will take note, Mrs JG, after all, Jim included a scene of Jake showering in Brothers after we insisted on it. I think we can safely take the credit for that one :)

    Have a good day everyone!

  14. Hi everyone! What a great, sunny, hot day in Poland!
Kate and MrsJakobGyllenhaal - cause the link to that comment was on Duncan's twitter, at least he knows what ladies-fans expect from Jake in the movie :). One thing bothers me, Duncan made two movies and no sex or naked hero scenes at all, if I remember Moon correctly. So maybe that means, he doesn't feel the need for that. I hope, next time with Jake he will consider that fan demand.

  15. Hi Mermon! Sounds lovely! Our weather's not so good today unfortunately but I can't complain as it's been glorious for weeks. Yep, you're right about Duncan - he needs to step it up ;)

I've left a post in the members' section of the forum about an upcoming adventure if anyone fancies a look and giving me some input!

  16. I'll be arriving in London the day after tomorrow, and staying at the Pavilion Hotel on Hyde Park Ave. near Paddington. Saturday, I'm meeting some friends at the Olympic clock in Trafalgar Square at noon for a walking tour of London if the weather is nice (which is forecast not to be), or a visit to an art gallery or two if it's raining....

There is a link to one of Jake's movies in the first sentence of this post. See if you can spot it. ;-)

  18. Hi Paul! Ooh, that's great! Don't worry about the weather forecast. Today was supposed to be rainy and it was lovely for most of it. I'm sure you will but do head down to the river. It's a shame you're not there tomorrow as I'll be in the smoke then. Do let me know what you get up to!

Hello Susan, damn, I was sure it was Amazing and Lovely... ;D
