Jake Gyllenhaal back at the Medical Center as TrouserGate continues...

Jake Gyllenhaal was back on duty at the Beverly Hills Medical Center on 16 December. This was in response to concerns that he needs to be detached surgically from his Green Trousers and have the trouser legs forcibly untucked from inside his shoes. I hear that it's touch and go and time is running out before Jake's birthday tomorrow. Will he be free from the Green Trousers and safely back in The Jeans before he tucks into his trifle and jelly tomorrow? Watch this space.

Please note how I made no comment about birthday suits...

Thanks to IHJ for the new photos - there are more there.

My review of Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows is now up at MovieBrit.

  1. Hahaha that whole post made me laugh! I wonder if it would be possible to surgically remove the Face Pet too... I fear he will celebrate his birthday with as much hair on his lovely cheeks as possible. Meh.

All my rubbish complaining aside: happy last day of your 31st year, gorgeous! :-)

  2. Glad you liked it, Lady Ekster! I fear we're going to see an awful lot more of those trousers. Maybe all his family will buy him new ones as a desperate attempt to get him out of them. And yep, I think it'll be a hairy birthday too...

  3. Hahaha! I have to begin the same way, LadyE did. Your post is hilarious Kate!
Am I the only one who likes those trousers? :)) I like the colour, the pockets. They look very comfortable and useful. He may carry many stuff in those pockets. Which is important for travelling Jake.
Those pants show also his muscular legs. Sometimes they get too loose, but it happens to most of the pants, jeans as well. Doesn't it?
In Australia is already Jake's birthday. So the wishes will start to flow!
I read that he had already some birthday party with some friends.
Who knows, maybe he celebrates today with his family, because of Sunday. But in their case, they probably don't have to go to work Monday morning,:) so they may celebrate tomorrow!
I wish Jake to have a fantastic day tommorrow!

I googled that place. It's in Soho, NYC! Men's clothes, especially jeans! LOL! So maybe Jake sometimes read his fans comments.
"It's a TRUE denim lover's dream store with some of the best brands."
By the way it's past midnight, so it's December 19 in Poland.
Happy Birthday Jake!!! All the best for you. :))

  5. I forgot to mention - "new standard for wearing jeans"? They supposed to barely fit? I can't imagine Jake in those! LOL. I don't think, he follows a fashion that much! :))

Sorry for three posts in a row.

  6. I'm laughing, too, Kate! I think Jake is wearing his pants -- oops, meant TROUSERS -- tucked into his shoes just to irritate you!!

I had to post my review of Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows (Cosmic Twins Media) before I could read yours. Thought yours was great. Apparently we differ on which one might be better, first or second, but I can certainly live with that. It was quite a fun way to spend a couple of hours, wasn't it?

  8. Ha,ha....funny WDW, those green "trousers" with pocket, work boot look is really getting a "work out" on both coasts of the US. We need one of those year end polls of Jake's favorite looks of 2011. He rocked jeans early in the year with the well worn boots, the cop uniform early summer for work and those khaki half-pant, and the beige cords and tennis shoes the rest of summer...and now these green "trousers" for the rest of the year.
Personally, I really dug the jeans and boots...but the cop look is a (sigh) fantasy look for me lol...for reasons I won't divulge! But Jake can use his handcuffs on me any time he likes!!!
    Happy Birthday Jake!xoxo

  9. Funny post! Kate, I love your sense of humor!:) and also I love Jake's fashion sense. Sometimes I wear green cargo pants (trousers!) and work boots. so, This Jake's style pleased me! I love this combination. Though, you dont like it. :p Of course, Jake in blue jeans is good!
I think, Jake wears any clothes stylishly! cop look too!

Happy birthday Jake!! May all your wishes come true!

  11. Morning everyone and Happy Birthday to the Birthday Boy! Unfortunately, I think my invitation to your knees-up got misplaced in the Christmas post...

Hi there Mermon! I don't mind the trousers just that he appears to be glued into them :D Maybe he's back already on the East coast! He's making me dizzy...

I think he is, Susan! ooh, thanks for the link.

    Thanks Christina!

Morning Lily! I really like the jeans and boots look too... Trifle and jelly are traditional puddings here for birthday parties. I thought I'd wiki it as they're too hard to explain. Here's Trifle and here's Jelly which is nothing to do with American jelly, which we would call jam.

Having said all that I can't stand trifle but Mr WDW adores it...

Glad you liked it, Mayumintolor! I don't mind the trousers I just think he should wear something else for a change before they wear out... :D

Have a great day everyone! Maybe we should blow up some balloons...

  13. For some reason I find myself wandering about singing "Happy Birthday to You" under my breath. And have a strong craving for some birthday cake and ice cream.

Your "jelly" is our "Jell-O?" How interesting. I'd never think of it for a birthday celebration. But the idea of trifle being a colorful sweet layered dessert, especially alcohol-flavored, sounds very enticing. :)

  15. We do, Paula!

Hi Susan! I like the boozey part but not all the creamy sludge. I may have some ice cream tonight though.

Hi Daniela! That'll be such a touch present to top!
