Jake Gyllenhaal on the Culture Show Tonight

Just a reminder that, tonight, Rendition is featured in the UK's The Culture Show - BBC2 9.20pm. Also, please note that the time has changed from that originally posted! Jake Gyllenhaal is interviewed by BBC correspondent Frank Gardner who was left for dead - and paralysed - by a terrorist gunman in Saudi in 2004. Many of us have been looking forward to this interview for some time.

So see you all later!

Thanks for the reminder of the time change,WDW! Must get the tape ready,my acting hero interviewed by my reporting hero - bliss!

It's the likes of Frank Gardner and Alan Johnston (released 3 months ago, after months of captivity in Gaza) who preserve my faith in journalists, the wondrous power of human courage and the good old BBC! See you later :-)

Oh, fantastic - thank you for letting us know about the time change. Unbelievable, but I had almost forgotten about this show. It's probably the fact I *finally* been able to lay my paws on a copy of Interview Magazine and I can't stop drooling. The good news, of course, is that I have plenty of bibs in the house these days...

And 9.20 with you would be 10.20 with me. Okay - check.

Oh, and since I'm not around here all that much, thanks for the brilliant work you have been putting into this blog - I love stopping by here, whenever time allows me. Each and every entry is a joy to read. Thank you. *hugs*

Show tonight gotta be good antidote to the week's madness and may cure everybody who seems to have come down with step throats and other strange illnesses in the past few days. I hope we will be able to view this, we have been so fortunate so far, havent missed a beat.

I am really looking forward to the video clip, WDW. Just as an aside, I've had a number of people at
ye olde book shop ask for reccommends on films...especially out of towners. So I have had the pleasure of sending at least a dozen people to see Rendition. Tonight, as I was getting ready to leave...with my new People Magazine, a couple of co-workers teased me..."You're not reading People???!!!!"
I replied the only reason was Jake. And a young lady wandered into the conversation and smiled. She said, "I love Jake. I mean who doesn't love Jake. Even guys...everybody loves him!"and a 50 something co-worker said, "Jake is in People? I have to get it, too!" I just warmed me. I feel positively evangelical LOL!!
