The first Jake Gyllenhaal goodie up for discussion this evening is his famous merkin, enthusiastically discussed on the Jimmy Kimmel show and elsewhere not too long ago. Jake, like the true gentleman he is, would not comment on Anne Hathaway's own merkin and, indeed, during Anne's own appearance on the show yesterday, she did not discuss her own merkin either. She did, however, comment on Jake's obsession with his. She also revealed that Love and Other Drugs is a beautiful love story with lots of sex - she and Jake 'went to it'. I fear I am going to need a cinema season ticket.
More Jake Gyllenhaal goodies come in the shape of some new Prince of Persia stills, which include a great picture of Feisty Tamina (filmed by a very comfortable-looking cameraman) and a wonderful picture of Jake and Gemma Arterton on a horse.
But not just any horse. The horse in question is Aksh - bless you - and another Jake Gyllenhaal goodie is Dastan astride Aksh for your mantelpiece or desk.
Another goodie is a gate. I find this one a little more difficult to get excited about. It also has fewer uses. Might be good for croquet in the summer if you had a bunch of them. Or a catflap. Toy pics here.

Anne is adorable and funny in interviews. She and Jake have been friends since BBM, though I wouldn't mind if one day there'll be more. I'm looking forward to Love/Drugs.

ReplyDeleteI watched Anne on JKL this morning while eating my breakfast and was literally giggling throughout - she is so much fun and Jimmy would just not let the Jake Merkins/Sex Scenes thing go - and I'm glad he didn't!! I cannot wait until LAOD promo stuff and these two better be back on JKL to discuss these important items further. But you're right WDW - this is all AFTER the huge amount of promo stuff we'll be getting for PoP. What a year!
