Updated Update!! - Golden Globe and SAG nominations - Jake responds! Constellations, on stage and on camera with Jake Gyllenhaal

It's starting to feel a lot like Christmas! After yesterday's SAG nomination for Best Actor in a Leading Role - Film, today comes a Golden Globe nomination!! Here's Jake's reaction to his SAG nomination - there is also a video here.

Congratulations, too, to Maggie, for her SAG nomination for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a TV movie or drama role for Honourable Woman.

With less than a week until Jake Gyllenhaal makes his Broadway debut with Nick Payne's Constellations on 16 December, there are goodies! Firstly, there are a couple of promotional videos in which you can meet Roland.





There is also a stunning poster.

On 1 December, Jake and his Constellations co-star Ruth Wilson attended the 24th Annual Gotham Independent Film Awards in New York City, where Jake presented Julianne Moore with the Best Actress Award. I love seeing these two together.


Also this week, Jake visited a very excitable studio to go Live with Kelly and Michael. You can watch that interview here.

    Hmmmmm, the CONSTELLATIONS posters are stunning indeed. On IHJ there are pics showing the making of these posters. Aaaaaah, hugging Jake or being hugged by Jake must be wonderful, even for his actor colleagues and for strictly platonic and strictly promotional reasons. Remember when Jake and Anne Hathaway took off all their clothes in 2010 for magazine covers to promote LOVE AND OTHER DRUGS?? Well, afterwards Anne Hathaway did admit a few times that it was very lovely to be hugged by a very naked Jake, on film and for magazine covers.
    Oh dear, do I sound like a fifteen year old teenage girlie??

    It's pretty amazing to see all the nominations and awards at Nightcrawler's Wikipedia page so far, for both Jake and Dan Gilroy. Here's to many more!

    And I know it's probably too soon to get my hopes up too high, but Jake - go get that Oscar nomination as well, baby! ;-)

    Not just an Oscar NOMINATION. I want him to be AWARDED the Oscar - this time!!!!!!!!!! In 2006 he just missed his chance for Brokeback Mountain because of some stupid, ignorant AMPAS members who decided to vote against him.
