Jake strikes a pose - Christmas Interlude
Because I'm not able to do a proper post today, due to having to spend far too many hours in a car, I will leave you for the day with what is quite possibly my very favourite YouTube video of Jake Gyllenhaal. If you can beat it, I'd love to hear how.

Hey everyone, I've been reading everything just crazy busy as I'm sure everyone is. Wanted to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and to Jake, may you have an awesome holiday hopefully with your family. Love all the posts, agree with everyone, Conan is my fav and love the Vanity Fair video as well, love seeing Jake in action lookin' good. Enjoy!!

Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols broadcast now and tomorrow (ten a.m. EST) from Kings College Cambridge, a Christmas treat. Other morning treats: Annie Liebowitz and Jake of the beautiful arms - omy! - some yummy holiday bread with fruit and almonds -

Last week, someone in choir chal-lenged me to write a Christmas carol. This is like challenging a shark to eat fish ;-) .
So far, I have the beginning and the middle, but I've been too lazy/distracted (mostly the former) to write the concluding verse. Here are the lyrics I have so far:
Once there were shepherds and a flock of woolly sheep.
The angels sang, "In a manger, fast asleep
In Bethelehem is Christ the King.
Oh, shepherds, come! His praises we will sing."
But the shepherds quaked with worry and alarm,
Saying "Too far!
Too young the lambs are,
And if we leave them, they will come to harm!"

Hiya WDW and all my fellow Gyllen-worshippers! I've been up to my neck in Christmas chaos for a few days and it's so frustrating that I can't hang around with you all now and wallow in the mega-posts that WDW has so brilliantly compiled ( a quick skim and a swoon at the photos for now,a proper in depth study when things calm down!)

I don't think you could have picked a better thing to leave us with, Kate, than the vanity fair shoot. It must have been an honor for Jake to pose for Annie Liebowitz. She has photographed some of the BEST in the business and Jake is certainly in that league.

Thank you WDW for the Vanity Fair clip. Those images are giving me a warm and fuzzy (and a bit tingly) feeling that will last. :) I will have to come back on Wednesday for a thorough reading of all the posts and comments. Unless I can figure out how to clone myself. :D
