Great to see Jake again. With grateful thanks to I Heart Jake, here's Jake Gyllenhaal leaving a medical center in Beverly Hills just today. Looking good, Jake!

Ah, there it is! I can't believe the beard's still not gone. Will we ever see that lovely face again?:( Always good to see Jake though:)
Hi WDW..thanks for the lovely...pics of Jake..and you know how it pains me to type that "Lovely" because the man has a beard...a hat...sunglasses...and worst of all...that lumberjack jacket seems to have supplanted my favorite grey cardigan...LOL!! I wonder when he will resume filming on Brothers? hugs hugs hugs...Michele

Hey TL - got it there in the end :D I like the beard like this! It's looking much shorter and groomed. I really do dislike that shirt though... But great to see Jake. It's so good to see him there, I know that church in the background from my own visits to BH!
Hi Michele Good to see you. I almost think I would prefer to see Jake in the cardy than in that shirt. Bring back the big woolly jumper with the toggle, that's what I say. Makes me wonder if the filming is over in NM and now they're in a studio.
Maybe we need to get a petition going ;)
Hey Michele - we'd better get that petition going then, if that's what it takes;) yes, it's more trimmed and tidy, but it's still too much and anyway he's had for years now (at least that's what it feels like!)
yes, beard is nicely trimmed and Jake looks fit, but I think that lumberjacketey thing was a present and he's just wearing it to be nice. not his style, at all.

Loving the wintry palm trees more than the wintry shirt, that's for sure Pia :D I love palm trees in the winter... I'm off to put a bit of BBM on before bed :)
I quite like the lumberjack shirt,makes him look rugged and outdoorsy, like he'd know what to do if he was lost in the middle of a forest! I prefer the images the palm trees bring to mind though, thinking of yesterday's Hawaiian post;) But nothing beats the cowboy hat and blue shirt combo:) Night WDW xx
Night TL *) I've been in a bit of a Hawaiian mood today since yesterday so it's good to see Jake with the palms :D
Must be some weather out there - and not of the Hawaiian or Californian variety either - as lost my internet connection for a while - ooh nervous twitch, better have a GnT. :D
I want to know if Jake is done with Brothers. I thought after New Years he'd be going back (at least they said the movie would continue shooting until the middle of end of Jan)
and I want that beard GONE so bad I'm ready to take a razor out and sneak in while Jake is asleep and take it OFF!
And is that a new phone he is carrying, the light blue thing?

Hi Trekfan - I'd be interested to know too. One would have thought the filming is continuing this month (the beard suggests that as well) but maybe in LA? Maybe we'll know when it's over because the beard will be gone, he'll probably be ready for a change. I'm sure I've seen Jake with a light blue phone before. Thanks for commenting :D

seems as if Once is, indeed, a "musical", since the director says so. Its'a lovely film, nice relief from high tech shenanigans, and of course Im interested that both Jake and Heath chose it as a favorite.
Wonder if Jake knows Robt Redford's kids. Daughter Amy lives in W Village, has a film out - ten years older than Jake, grew up in NYC - we used to see Redford around. RR has kept his private life pretty private.
Missing Jake, glad to get a glimpse even behind beard cap and dark glasses.
Hi Pia - glad you enjoyed Once. I'm looking forward to seeing that :D It's interesting how the film appealed so much to both men.

Hi WDW,hi folks, I'm still a few posts behind but I'm gaining on you all! However I just had to drop in on this latest thread to welcome a new picture of Jake (despite the fact that he's still got that chuffin' beard!).
Not that I want to pour cold water on proceedings or anything,but does anyone else, on hearing that he's photographed here leaving a Medical Centre, feel their stomach lurch and the thought "Please God,I hope he's ok" just burst unbidden into their minds?! Me,worry?!Fret too much? Nah! See you all later,just off to work on a stomach ulcer...

Beautiful pics of Beautiful Jake. I love the shirt and the Palm trees...course I lived in LA for more than 25 years...and I love the beard. NOT.:) When will we see his beautiful clean magnificent profile and jawline? *sigh*
Did Jake and Heath confer and choose Once together. Heath has said more than once that he sees Jake away from the paps and chats with him ad lib. hmmmm.

Sass! I think there was a poll asking actors their choice of best film of the year and J and H reported separately, but I, too, hope they are keeping in touch and like to think they discussed the film together.

hi Neurotic Nadine! Glad you're catching up on the posts :D I'm so used to seeing pictures of Jake leaving the Medical Centers of BH that I tend to think it has to be for reasons other than not feeling well. That street takes care of every bit of you, right down to contact lenses, teeth, feet, yoga, plastic surgery (threw that in to be controversial ;)), conselling, aromatherapy, massage, etc, quite possibly every single thing except for being sick! So I don't tend to worry.

hi Pia - glad to hear you're looking after the script - I'm glad you're doing that as I've been to busy with the retouching and painting that tattoo on Jake's neck each day :D

Thanks for the heads up on the locale of this photo WDW, now I know he could have been there for just a Scale and Polish or an Indian Head Massage,rather than anything serious, I feel a lot better.
Add me to the list of those who love to think that Jake and Heath have perfected the art of Pap-dodging as far as their assignations are concerned and that modern technology keeps them in regular contact when work makes meeting up impossible!
And Pia,has anyone ever told you that you are delightfully loopy - your posts make me grin from ear to ear!
Oh, and has anyone claimed the job of Dresser to Mr.Gyllenhaal yet,cos if not, I'm yer woman!

Jake - and Reese - visit there a lot and probably have the pre-movie medicals etc... I don't think anyone's taken the role of Dresser! So you can have that, we just need to inform Mr Sheridan :D

I imagine that the job of Dresser becomes available rather often, because so many candidates dissolve into pools of drool after a short time. ;-)
So, Jake goes to that medical centre to do yoga while receiving a massage? Such multitasking! I won't worry about his health until I see him with bandages on his face, or one arm in a sling. :-(
Didn't he say, in one interview, that he has some allergies? Maybe he gets allergy shots or something....
Another thought is that he's there to get c*nd*ms.
