At last! Jake Gyllenhaal in the flesh!
Forgive a short, late post tonight but this could not wait - at last, we have a glimpse of our long-haired Prince of Persia, Jake Gyllenhaal! Off to see what else I can find...

Hey Winterbird! I'm so happy to see Jake again! It looks like real hair to me - and he looks happy and well :D I know nothing about the pic at all - I'd say the UK but we'll have to find out. Great to see him, I've missed him!
Good to see him again but can't wait for him to finish filming the Pop franchise and get that hair cut!

It's amazing really, we've seen Jake transform into the Prince. I'm not surprised he's not been spotted, this is a whole new Jake! But big thanks to the photographer who recognised him. Fabulous :D

I still prefer him with short hair, but his smile would make up for everything... yeah, he looks happy :)

Thing is, while this is not a look I would prefer on Jake, the same goes for Peter's look for the play now. I don't prefer the long beard he has but I accept that they are looks for the roles they are playing. JMO..

I feel like he may have some mouth prosthetic or something that is making his cheeks/face look different. Or it could be the angle of the shot and that he is in motion.

I agree with Get Real. There have been plenty of looks I've not been that keen on for Jake during the course of his films, but this is always vastly outweighed by how happy I am to see him. Jake can't look the same in his films. I also don't like Peter's beard so much for Seagull but that doesn't mean that I don't find him a hot sexy guy! Jake looks fuller in the face here but that could be for any number of reasons.

Hey there Nezuko! Welcome. I'm really looking forward to seeing this look in full PoP garb. I'm sure the hair will be cut straight after it finishes, but I kinda like it... I do like to see how Jake has put himself into this role - totally different for him - like Swoff was.
He does look kinda exotic, doesn't he? And he does look happy. I hope we do see more pics.

Yes, he looks happy, and, that is always nice to see his smile:)
I also think he looks a little fuller in the lower jaw area. And my ex-husband's face did similar with bulking and thickening up when he weight lifted. Pro wrestlers also, although lean to show cut and define muscle, bulk up tremedously with high protein, low bad carbs, no butter and such with protein shakes at every turn...at least it seemed to me.
Thanks so much for the pic..*sigh*, wonder if he'll head to the states for visit with Maggie, Peter, and Ramona in NY.(just wishful thinking) It would be great to see him again:)) But not before Jake, that you give WDW a great, big Gyllenhug for measure:DDD

There's an entire series on IHJ - I haven't seen them all, but I'm going to continue to look - some are quite impressive, the 3/4 profile ones (as usual!) - the wrapped top he's wearing under his jacket, he looks really exotic, almost like a samurai, and magical. PoP is going to be beautiful. :)

And, YES! Love the "Hall of Fame Shirt" from a few back:PPP (the black, long sleeved, kindof see threw one) As if you all didn't know which one I was refering too. Good morning everyone! What a great night with this picture and now there are more - new post. Now we can see that one of the reasons Jake looked fuller in the mouth was that he had an apple in it... At least he didn't shove it all in at once like some people I know :D
