A sunny Cornish Interlude - All good things...

A gratuitously off topic post today, largely because Jake Gyllenhaal is not in Cornwall, even though he'd love it... May my sunburnt nose serve as a beacon for all travellers.

The Eden Project

No jellyfish were injured during the making of this post.

Back on topic later! Time to hit the road and get back home.

Hi there everyone! Have a great Saturday and see you all soon - on my way back today. The pictures in the post show Padstow, Megavissey (alas the pastie shop has closed...) and Treyarnon (?). And of course the spectacular Eden Project - I really recommend it. Stunning.

See you later!

What, on your way home already today? What a pity!!!

The beach pics remind me of the little beach in Trevone Beach (close to Padstow) where I stayed last year and the other ones of St. Ives... Ach, I feel like going there! *sighs*

Have a good trip back home!

Hope you had a good hol WDW. Your pictures are beautiful. I'd love to see the Eden project.

It is sunny here today but won't have time to get to the beach unfortunately:( We are on stage this weekend so I will be offline for the next few days.

Have a great weekend:)

WDW, just absolutely beautiful - talk about an Eden. I didn't get a chance to comment on your previous post, but the shops and streets are just so charming as well, especially the tea shop. Sigh. Reading more about Pop is fun too. See you later! :*

Hey everyone! Just got home after a wonderful morning cliffwalking (and eating ice cream) and then a not so wonderful 6 hour drive back - terrible accident on the way so sitting for an hour... And I am as pink as a beetroot!

Hi Uli! I know, but Mr WDW has to travel away for work next week so he had to come bcak - although as we went down as separate times, in separate vehicles! My car beat his ancient red van :D. That beach is very close to Trevone, we walked round some of the bays. Gorgeous!

Hey Carol! I do hope you get to see the Eden Project - just amazing! And so hot in the Tropical ecodrome. I've wanted to go for such a long time. Ooh, good luck on stage! That sounds exciting - let us know how it went :)

Cornflake! Good to see you, my friend :D I hope things are good with you!

Thanks so much Bertie! As long as everyone puts up with me, I love to post off topically :D The weather here is absolutely amazing - hotter back home in the south east. I hope it's good with you :D

I've done a scan of the Empire page for everyone to embiggen, although there's not much new in it... My scanner had stopped working so I had to use violence.

There's one day to vote now on Jake's bits - Jake's tummy is a clear winner! 23 hours of voting to go!
