Is Jake a spinner? And Namath Project still 'in the works'

Demonstrating once more that we have Jake Gyllenhaal to thank for the invention of the white t-shirt, here we see Jake and Reese at Brentwood's Burn 60 gym yesterday. Judging by the shoes Jake is carrying (when arriving at the club?), it may be possible that Jake has been participating in the Turn 60 workout. Perhaps when spinning Jake is imagining himself in the Pyrenees with the Tour de France.

The photographers came too...

The much-loved curl of hair over the ear is back.

I do admire a girl who can wield a video camera while controlling a large dog and looking at Jake Gyllenhaal.

And finally...

I cam across this interview with writer David Hollander from March 2009 and, in a brief mention, it suggests that the Joe Namath Project has not been put to bed - David is working on the script (which was postponed during the writers' strike).

Big thanks to IHJ as always for the pictures!

Good morning, wet dark!
The hair is big, but beautiful and sexy! I love the color!

I have high expectations about Joe Namath.

Morning Monica! The hair is great! I think he must have had some colour put in there. It certainly looks like it's recovered from any PoP traumas so hopefully that means no hats for a while :D

I'm hoping that Namath is certainly a project worth the wait :)

I hope everyone's having a good day - very lazy for me - the cricket has been sucking me in :DD

They could surprise showing a poster or teaser trailer!

Hi Monica! I wouldn't be at all surprised if there's a trailer coming :D

There is no telling what script he was reading. I thought he was going to start working on the Love and other Drugs movie in Sept with Anne Hathaway.

Jake would be perfect for Joe Namath, he's older now (he was perfect to play Jack when he was 23, I heard he was took old to play Lance in the biopic (apparently Lance is supposed to be 21 in the movie timeline)

I think Joe Namath was in his 30s at the height of his career.

Hi Sweetpea :D Hopefully Love and Other Drugs is next because a) I want to see Jake with Anne b) it looks good and c) it might actually get made and released on time! Jake is definitely at the right age to play Namath - I hope we get to see it :D

Hi there Flower! It has been a hard week - for me too - I hope you're relaxing this weekend :D I'm glad Jake's a remedy. Take care.

Great hair... great timing for some publicity for Brothers :)

I see that the trailer is now up on Apple's Frontrow, so I can view it in full-size HD on my mac!

My US friends told me Joe Namath is more of the American football equivalent of David Beckham (flamboyant) than Zidane (skills), so it will be quite interesting.

Hi there Winterbird! I bet it looks good :D

It could be pretty interesting if it's more about the personality than the game - as Namath seems to be quite a character. It looks like the kind of thing Jake would enjoy very much. I would love to get a peek of Jake's schedule.

I hope you've had a good Saturday despite all this rain... :/

Good morning everyone! And is it going to rain or not...? (Thanks to the neighbour who decided to use a power saw at 7 this morning)

Hi Silver! Unfortunately, I have all too noticed that :( I have no idea why it's such a problem for them to be there.

Jake does look so so great - I'm loving the hair and I like the colour as it's quite subtly done, looks good in the sun :D

Morning Monica! Those are great! I love the first one especially. I'll put those up later :D How I wish we could see this blasted film!!

Have a great dy everyone!
