This gratuitous post is brought to you courtesy of this wonderful new video that has made its way to YouTube in which Jake Gyllenhaal kisses his way through nine movies (albeit in reverse). Yep, not only can you see the changing looks of Jake through such wonderful movies as Brokeback Mountain, The Good Girl, Donnie Darko, Prince of Persia, Love and Other Drugs, Rendition and Source Code, but you can also judge his puckering up skills. While obviously the kisses between Jack and Ennis pull at a very special heartstring that is preserved for this film, I must also admit to loving that kiss in Rendition. I remember when the film came out and we saw this scene for the first time and I don't think I was the only one to melt. And so, are there any special kisses here for you?

Very nice clip, Kate! I could stare at Jake's kissing - endlessly. All his kisses seems so real and he has some special way of doing that, Eagerly? But always paying attention to his partner.
I hope that he will add to that list some new kisses with Anna.
Have you noticed that those scenes are reversed? Like in the mirror.

Hi Mermon! Lovely clips, but I did notice that about the reversed scenes. They are in their other videos too. Nevertheless still put a smile on my face. Not all kisses were there and no doubt there'll be more to add :) It's a good video to see when getting sleepy for the night :)

Jake is so sexy there.
I also love his kiss in Donnie Darko because he's so fervent (for lack of a better word) in that scene and you can tell Donnie has wanted to kiss her for a while, same with the BBM kiss.
I am confused, I have never seen Rendition, but I thought Jake and Reese played husband and wife in that film - so who is that girl with the brown hair? That's the only kiss I've ever seen from that film.

I start to notice that Jake has far too few kissing scenes in his movies (well, not in LAOD, but otherwise). He's such a brilliant actor that I enjoy seeing him talk too, but it wouldn't hurt to add a bit more spice.
@Margot: No, actually Jake and Reese are never even in one scene together. In the movie their characters never meet, nor even know each other. Must have been the promotion tour they fell for each other. Altough I think I remember they knew each other before Rendition, so who knows.
Rendition is not an easy movie, but very worth watching.

Thanks for the info! The reason why I thought Jake and Reese were married in the film is because I think I remember Reese's character in the trailer saying "What happened to my husband, where is he?" (or something to that effect or maybe I completely made that up), and I thought Jake's character was taken or kidnapped by someone or something (haha see how much attention I paid to Rendition).
Anyways, I need to see that movie.

Hi Margot! It sounds like you have to see Rendition! Reese played the wife of the victim of the rendition. Jake plays the CIA agent who has to deal with it. It's a good film.
I'm so glad that worked ok, Mrs JG! You're very right about the kissing. I've thought that many times through the years. And in PoP I wish there had been more than the one because Jake looked such a romantic figure in that. Loved the kiss in Source Code :)

Even though they didn't share any scenes together, they were often on set at the same time with many reports that Jake was often in Reese's trailer.
Now we get to see if there's anything going on with him and Rashida Jones. I swear, the media never let's up. I feel bad for stars nowadays, they can't even breathe without somebody in their face.
Hi Leslie! I suppose they take the pics because there's a demand for them. Some people like gossip. I do like the pics, can't help it, and, although it's always nice to see Jake with his friends, the gossip is so tedious. And on a more important matter, great to see Atti again! I'll post the pics at lunch :)

I like that vid, but why the heck did the author mirror almost everything?! Don't like that.
But either way, I can't choose a favorite... I'd have all of them! *lol* Brokeback is heartbreaking, Rendition is supersexy, LAOD is pure chemistry, PoP makes me wish I was Gemma, TDAT gives me butterflies... they're all lovely.

I was waiting for some more kisses in POP. But since that's Disney movie... Then I was hoping for a bit more in a sequel and we all know how it ended.Hm....
But there is always another hope, so let's wait for End of Watch.:)
