As we know Jake Gyllenhaal watched the Dodgers beat the Cincinnati Reds last night in LA. I'm glad to say we now have a picture and we
learn that Jake was at the game with Peter Sarsgaard (fresh from the premiere of his new film) and hat. But just wait a minute - is that a Spider-Man t-shirt Jake's wearing? It certainly looks comicy, dare I say Comic-Cony. Edited to add it's an Iron Man shirt, thanks to Gretchen for the ID.

Ah! That's a very nice pic but I keep wanting to reach in my monitor to put that stray curl back under the hat. It's nice to know Jake's hanging out with Peter.

A very very nice pic - I see what you mean with the girl - and thanks to Stephanie I've just added another one from the night before when Jake was out with Peter for dinner on teh night of the premiere (doesn't look like Jake went to that). I'd love some pics of Jake with Peter. Jake looks great!! So good to see him again :)

I have to get this lego - maybe he's trying to look heroically superior and nonchalant all at the same time. I wonder if Jake had to model for the lego... And I wonder if Jake got the shirt from RDJ or from something to do with Comic-Con... So many questions :D And now new pictures of Jake while we try and work it out. I hope we get some more :D

Hey Olympia! It's a well-known adage that Jake can never show enough chest hair while wearing a shirt, a jacket and going to dinner. Distracting to sit opposite, I agree. On reflection, I think you may be right about what drew me to that shirt!

Hi Paul :D I wish I was an extra in it but I'm not unfortunately. I did watch Peter and Carey and the others film for a day. All the extras were dressed in 1950s' clothes and ill-fitting shoes.

Hi all I've been keeping up with all the PoP news during the week but didn't have time to post:( Wow what a week with so much going on.
Peter and Jake hanging out together....yipee. I wish there was a picture of the two of them together though. That is a great picture of Jake at the game. He looks so handsome in it and I love the hat.
Peter looked really handsome too at the premiere of Orphan. I am really looking forward to An Education. What a great cast.

Hi Carol! Have a wonderful time at U2 tomorrow! I'm so jealous, I'd love to go - I couldn't afford it as I would have had to go on my own with hotels etc :( Wembley Stadium is not a good venue if you live a bit outside London - have a great time and let us know how it goes!
