Am I the only one who wants to turn Jake's VIP Guest sticker the right way up?
I wonder if Jake is growing Rendition hair for a purpose...
And, speaking of rock, now for the strange news of the day. A blog reported at the weekend that they had seen a report in the Rollingstone that said that the movie about Kurt Cobain, now entitled Heavier than Heaven, was at last in pre-production and that Jake Gyllenhaal is included in the cast as Axl Rose! To add some credence to this is the identity of the screenwriter - David Benioff - who was, of course, the writer for Brothers. Quite an array of actors is listed as associated with the project. So is this true?
Jake is now linked with a whole heap of musical movies - it does seem to be a running theme. I cannot picture Jake in Guns 'n' Roses, no matter how hard I try. And thinking about Kurt Cobain inevitably makes me think about Pilot.

I don't know what the paps said to Jake or Reese (or both) but Reese looked totally like a silly drunk in that car pic... although getting pissed on beer?? where are they come? *g*

I'd never get at anyone for going out and having a drink and enjoying themselves, but in front of cameras? Jake looks like he's trying to protect her from getting her picture all round the world the next day... Chuckling at the beer :D That's an apperatif!

Reese looks really cute here. She definitely looks like she's having a good time:) I agree that Jake is being protective of her . I can't even imagine what it's like to have the paps trying to take pictures of you when you are enjoying a night out.
I'd be very interested in a Kurt Cobain movie but I can't see Jake as Axl Rose. That may explain the hair though. It will be intersesting to see if this turns out to be true.

Hi there Carol! I'd like to see Jake having a good time too and then a driver taking them both home squiffy :D I suppose paps are inevitable here so I don't see any point to Jake and Reese scolding them from the car. The paps'd love it.
If this cast for the Cobain movie is true, then it's amazing and I can see Jake doing a cameo role in it - but Axl Rose?! I love the idea of Jake, Cate Blanchett, Ryan Gosling, Jack Black etc in one film. I do hope we get some information on this :DD

I agree they don't do themselves any favours scolding the paps. They are playing right into their hands when they react like that. A driver taking them swiftly home would definitely be a better option.

Disney has left its upcoming Jake Gyllenhaal live-action video-game adaptation Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time off its Thursday film panel schedule; it will be the subject of a Friday panel on the comics and graphic novel tie-ins. But it's possible Disney could sneak in a glimpse at new footage from the movie, much as it sneaked a tease for Tron last year. Persia opens May 28, 2010.

I hate seeing Jake so upset with the paps. I can only imagine how hard it is to deal with them day after day but getting worked up over them is the worst thing to do. A smile, a wave, and a kind "good night guys" as they get into the car may have worked better. Life as an A-List actor I guess.
