Hi Bertie! I wish I'd been able to see the match on TV. I bet it was exciting. I always like spotting stars at these events - and Jake being there... I always keep an eye open at Wimbledon, just in case.
Hey Olympia! I'm with you on sending the thank you card! I suppose they may want Jake clean shaven but otherwise, it looks like he's had the hair cut for the role (maybe they were doing that kind of thing, like wardrobe etc, in Pittsburgh last week). Absolutely spot on perfect! Just how I like him.

I am agreement with many here...Jake is Lookin' Good! :-) And if this is going to be his "look" in LaOD, well, WHOOOWHEEEE to that!! You mention his look in the more current movies, WDW, and I was just thinking about that recently. All these different more current looks for him in Bros, PoP and LaOD are all so different but all so hot in their own way. Oh it's great to be a Jake fan these days!
And sightings of Jake and Anne?! Did I say Whooowhee yet?! Being on the east coast more may mean more sporting event possibilities - (Yankees, Red Sox, Pirates, Steelers, Giants, Jets - studying up for Namath maybe?)! He's never been one for football but the Pittsburgh Steelers are a very big team right now and whether he wants to or not he may get caught up in it with the citizens of Pittsburgh doing so. Eyes glued to the sports channels (not too hard in my house since I'm surrounded by sports freaks)!

Yes...Ebon was in Mona Lisa Smile and a short film with Maggie and Peter a couple of years ago. I think he's more known for US TV shows though (but I don't watch TV shows).
I didn't find any video highlights yet but I believe the whole match (match...not game...match!) will be rebroadcast on the tennis channel this afternoon so I will record it and report back (I need to find a way to send things to you via my television...)??? Oh, hell, just come on over for a visit ;) (BTW - Yes, I have the tennis channel...and 600 other cable stations that I don't even know I have. And if Jake wasn't at the US Open yesterday I wouldn't know I had this one either...LOL)!!

I love tennis :) I was neutral in this final as Federer is God and Del Potro is a Youngun (I was gutted Roddick went out!) I did watch the game on sky sports (which was fantastic) But no mention of Jake :( only mentioned bruce willis and jack nicholson as far as i remember.

Constantine maybe got to 5th or 6th on IDOL..the Tony's were on 3 or so months ago and he was nominated for a Tony for Rock of Ages.
Numerous people from Idol have gone on to do quite well..Jennifer Hudson - Oscar and some of them have won Grammy's..and others gone on to Broadway. If someone is appearing in a musical i have read there will always be a spike in sales.
Years and Years ago use to be the Ted Mack Amateur Hour where people went on to sing and they could win. Patsy Cline was on it.

There are talented people over the years who have appeared on shows to sing and hope for a career so Idol is just the latest.
And meant to say also Constantine was just a performer in the show not sure if he had much sway about who would be in a movie of it.

I watched that match until about 2 in the morning but fell asleep. I had no idea Roger didn't win but worse was that Jake was there??!?! I would have got tooth picks to prop open the eyes or to prod me to stay awake. Serves me right for not checking here enough. Though I felt the crowd were unruly, noisy and a bit disrespectful of the players (I guess its not fair to judge them by Wimbledon's standards)

I'm glad to see Jake got some guy time. And it looks like they had fun. I didn't see Bruce and Jake making any contact or Jake even noticing he was sitting near legendary singer Tony Bennett. That doesn't mean that after the game they couldn't have greeted each other.
It looks like it was an intense game and Jake really was enjoying himself.
I was so sad to hear about Patrick, I loved him in Dirty Dancing and Ghost. I'd have to watch DD again to figure out what part he played. It's been a while
