A few days ago, Jake continued to show his support for a charity close to his heart, Alice Waters' Edible Schoolyard, which encourages youngsters in cities to grow the food they'll eat. There are full details here and you can watch the video from the Today show below.

WDW Cornish Interlude
Meanwhile, I'm having a fine time in that most beautiful of places, Cornwall. I'd like to do my bit for the English tourism board and post a few pictures of some of the places that have made me stop and stare this week. These include Clovelli (the village of a million steps) on the north coast of Cornwall, Charlestown on the south, Kynance on the southwestern tip and Mullion Cove on the Lizard, one of my favourite places that I keep returning to.

Hello everyone! At last found a little bit of wifi to do a post. Love these two videos. So good to see Jake again on screen, moving around :) I hope you all had a good day. I know some of you experienced an earthquake today - hope things are calmer now.

My interpretation of what was said in the first clip was that it seems like EoW was done as if on an almost "reality" type of approach. Prepare for 5 months for a little over 5 weeks of shooting for an entire movie - get in, get it done, and get on to the next scene. Sort of sink-or-swim mentality. This movie will be interesting to see in execution.

LOVE your pictures of Cornwall, WDW. Every time you go there and write an interlude, I want to go see it for myself. Looks absolutely lovely.

Do you remember when we were talking about EoW's possible hidden gem when we heard that Jake would star in it? We all went like; dude, there are so many cop movies made, this one has to be something else if Jake is interested in it. It might be this semi-documentary kind of thing...?

The gritty, semi-documentary, realistic style of filming this cop drama means I'm going to be exhausted and emotionally drained after watching it, I'm sure. I'm also pretty sure that's how Jake "Keepin' it Real" Gyllenhaal wants it.

I agree with Carlotta - "Jake with kids...sooo sweet!" - I like very much his involving to that school program
I'm intrigued to see how Ayer will work in the footage that the actors were filming. If you noticed, Jake, et al. were given their own cameras during filming, hence my interpretation that this was going to be more of a hands-on, reality type of shoot. Like the viewer is right there in the mix with the actors and not just watching a drama unfold with widescreen images. I'm also thinking that Jake probably took away a lot of experience filming and directing. It will be interesting to hear him talk about what he's learned during the filming of this project.
Lovely vids and photos of Jake. I am so glad he was out there with the kids, helping to understand how to grow your own veggies. we had a veggie garden when I was a kid so I know how satisfying it is to grow your own.

A little off topic but I wanted to post this - I had been wondering about the bracelet Jake has been wearing while in uniform for EoW. A little checking around and it turns out it's a survival bracelet (or paracord bracelet). Apparently they're all the rage now, and there's online/YouTube instructions on how to make them.
I'm home! Such a long drive home - over nine hours - but well worth it. I saw a seal this morning, right on Lizard point. Wonderful.

Interesting how End of Watch is adopting this semi-documentary style. After seeing Troll Hunter which used this style superbly, I've yet to be convinced but it certainly sounds more interesting now.

I know a family whose must to live in USA some years nad they decided to eat only vegetables and fresh meat and they became fat.
There are something in genetic by food in vegetables and meat in USA that isn't good!!!!
