Jake Gyllenhaal is back!
I can almost feel the entire Gyllenhaalic family taking a communal deep breath and slowly letting it out with relief. This is the reason:

Ah, and I just posted about the 'stache! Oh, well, he MUST have been listening, WDW! He looks wonderful, of course -- wonder what he's reading these days while he's not working. Perhaps a script or two? I hope.

These pics were a shock! Jake looks absolutely wonderful in these pictures, and I hope people will forgive putting up a gushy post. I thought this look deserved it.
I've always associated this look - and it's just speculation of course - with Working Jake, or maybe Thinking About Work Jake. So maybe something is going on on the work front. I hope so.
I have been intrigued by Jake's reading material in the past and I want to write something about that.
WDW, we don't mind a gushy post - I do think he looks wonderful too, with and without facial hair! :)

It's just when I see pictures like that, gushing is all I'm capable of for quite some time. So thanks for not minding - really, when you think about it, it's Jake's fault for looking like that! :D WDW

Now I love the face-scruff overall but not the 'stache in isolation. But I have to agree that these pictures blew me away.

I'm a fan of face scruff too (shadow or beard), just not the half and half. I also like what I've come to associate with a clean-shaven Jake - Jake getting ready for a new role or some publicity (probably imagination/wishful thinking I know).
