Jake Gyllenhaal - turns himself in

On 7 May, Jake Gyllenhaal pulled into the carpark of an LA police station and chatted away with a couple of police officers. But about what, one wonders? Lots of gesticulating and pointing going on, but it's unlikely Jake would be lost in his home town. Just one of those little Jake Mysteries we've come to love!

This was all captured on video until, not surprisingly, Jake spotted the camera and made a break for it.

Definitely mysterious. Certainly doesn't look like Jake just stopped by to tell LA's finest what a great job they are doing. Nor do they seem all excited to see a celebrity. Looks more serious. Like Jake's and the shorter gentleman's cars must have tried to be in the same place at the same time! I wonder who's fault it was.

Hi Dani, that's an interesting interpretation - and I like your description of a prang! I've heard someone say that the other guy looks like one of Jake's regular cycling companions - hmmm, not so sure. It does look quite serious - not many smiling faces. I wonder if we'll ever know.

An anonymous tipster told me that Jake has been arrested for crimes against acting! :(

I thought the same thing! I hope Jake wasn't in an accident. If he was, at least he appears to be OK -- but doesn't he have a new car? Or two?

Right then Major Grooves - I'm going to sit back and wait for the answers to that one! :D

I also suspect that wasn't the comment Beckela was agreeing with ;)

Oops -- I meant about a possible accident, not "arrested for crimes against acting," which couldn't possibly happen. Ever!

I'm checking in to tell Jake he's under arrest ;)

Hi Anouska - what has Jake been up to? ;)

Wet Dark and Wild said...

Anon - thanks very much for that. I saw this a few moments ago and I've just put something up about it. This is becoming extraordinary for a whole set of different reasons. Can we bear to watch? That's the question.

Wow - WHY haven't you put up the Jake and Austin Borders photos? I am confused.

Wet Dark and Wild said...

Hi anon - no need to be confused - I put the Jake and Austin bookshop photos up a few days ago. Just look back in the May articles and you'll find the article. I would never miss those! :D

I do new articles each day.

Thanks, WDW - I loves me some Austin & Jake! ;)

Hi Dani! I love your comment about "LA's finest" I have been replaying the video to try and decode it, it's very noisy. The atmosphere is clearly charged and there seems to be a loud altercation. Jake's body language suggests he's in a huff. I will play it a few more times.

Hello Major_grooves! Knowing the "establishment" for what it is, I won't be surprised if they do just that. The roles that Jake takes up could be pretty disturbing to a lot of people.

Thanks for commenting Incognita - I should feel grateful that I have someone from that establishment (albeit the military establishment)commenting ;D

Hey WDW! I wasn't really referring to our friends in uniform of either kind.
I'm pretty fond of them myself!!! There's another "establishment" that resists new ways of thinking and that's likely the one that won't approve of Jake's film choices.
