Jake's back! What a sight for sore eyes
Everyone let out that bated breath and break open the bubbly - Jake's back! Yesterday Jake Gyllenhaal was seen visiting a familiar Medical Center in Beverly Hills - do you need shots for Canada? - and generally looking sensational in that t-shirt. And do I spy new shoes....?

do you need shots for Canada?
It's my impression that when Jake jokes about being psychosomatic or hypochondriac, he's only half-joking. He appears to take his health seriously, so perhaps he makes a point to be checked out before and after any air travel. My gripe with these photos, in fact, which are otherwise not offensive as pap shots go, is that they had to reveal this fact at all. I don't know that it would bother Jake to be followed out of a medical office, but it might bug him that crazy women like me are now forming theories as to why he was there. ;) We could have done with the shots away from the door and no detailed location listed, don't you agree?
Hi Cherita! I don't really have much trouble with the location of these pictures because this is a well-known Medical Center, right in the heart of BH. we've seen lots of stars go in and out and it's pretty well-known where it is - I suspect they're required to go there contractually before all sorts of events - and I doubt very much it's for a medical reason as such. It's one of the paps' favourite places so I suppose it's inevitable that we should get pictures of Jake there.
I think all these photos tell us is that he's about to do something and he's under orders to get medical approval first. Oh yes, they also tell us that his summer off agreed with him :)
Paps pics always bother me, but I nonetheless can't resist them! Guess I'm an equal contributor to that intrusion. Oh, well.
My theory is that Jake has a film in the works and he had to get yet another physical for insurance purposes. Please.

Cherita, I take your point, but let's face it, if they DIDN'T reveal that it was a medical centre, then crazy women like me would start forming theories as to where he was and what he was doing at wherever I thought he was, so I don't suppose it makes that much difference. For the record, my own crazy theory is that he's participating in some sort of cloning research programme, so that eventually all of us will be able to order our very own Jake Gyllenhaal!;)

I have to admit to feeling a little sheepish for looking at these Pap photos,because if someone were to photograph me coming out of the Doctor's, intent on selling said photos,I'd not be best pleased! Can't resist a butcher's though,it's just so lovely to see him,especially as,despite his destination, he's looking so well!
He seems happy enough and there's a pleasing jauntiness about his step, so I'm going to go along with all the optimism that he's getting a medical prior to some new film venture,rather than allowing myself to fret as to what might be wrong with him.(Positive Mental Attitude - I'm trying to take a leaf out of Jimmy Fowkes' book!).

What a nice welcome home treat. Jake looks absolutely gorgeous as usual. I am glad he still has the short hair. It's becoming my favorite look. I wonder if he did a lot of biking on MV what with the shaved legs. But they are wonderfully tanned and I don't mind the smooth look at all this time. It's nice to know he was down the street from me even if it was only for a hot minute before heading to Toronto.
What a pleasant surprise to see some pics of Jake back home in LA....thanks WDW! I dig the haircut--is it just me, or do you find his haircut looks a bit mohawkish? From these pics, it looks shorter on the sides than on the top, or do I maybe need new glasses, LOL?!

Thank you Anon! Jake is doing his impression of a London bus again- no sign for ages then loads all at once! And we have Toronto to look forward to as well :) Jake looks,to coin an English phrase just for Marina:), well fit in these pics (well duh, as they may or may not have said in the 80s;)) I love the jeans!! He really does look scrummy here and I love the way he has just wung (English slang for "thrown carelessly") his bag and a discarded top on the back seat, just like any other bloke would.
It's a pity the Paps were still there when he came out and were obviously getting on his wick,but I'm still absurdly grateful for this second sighting in as many days.

And well spotted you,Twisted Logic,about the seatbelt. At first glance I thought he was preparing to get out of his car here,or had just got back in it and had therefore either just taken his belt off or hadn't had chance to put it on yet.
It is indeed worrying if he's trying to speed off and avoid the paps without "belting up".

Maybe TMI - BUT - much discussion of Jake with my "shrink" this morning. Was a bit nervous about this: but she applauds my love for him, my adoration, my foolish wish to weave flowers in his hair, etc etc. She thinks my desire is not foolish but wonderful. We speak of his "vulnerabily" as "icon" and she wishes him well, as do I.

Hi Nadine:) It said on JJ that Jake asked the paps to stop taking pics when he got in the car, which is what made me think he'd just got in and was about to drive off. I hope he did put it on before he drove off and it's just my protective motherly instinct going into overdrive. It's not often I have motherly feelings towards Jake, I have to admit;D
