Great news, everyone. We have the first pictures of Jake on the set of Brothers and just check out his neck! The photographs were taken yesterday, on Jake's birthday.

I have to admit to not being able to suppress a small scream of OMG!! when I saw these pics!! Jake looks sexier than ever, even sexier than Rendition Jake! I don't even like tattoos, but Jake is so hot with it!! And the hat and the scruffy bad boy look!!!! OMG!!! How does he keep getting hotter?! Wow...*faints*

Hola WDW....many thanks for posting the pics from Brothers. I have made no secret of the fact that I love a clean-shaven Jakey...so whilst I am thrilled to see Jake anytime...whiskerless is what I adore...I am loving the tatt...you are the best..

I've got a million things to do but I thought I'd have a quick break and treat myself to another look at Tattoed Jake and now I can't tear myself away! I never learn...Has anyone figured out what the tattoo is actually of? I've spent several minutes examining it but I can't work out what it's meant to be. the bit in the middle looks like a Cabbage Patch doll!!
Oh wow, thanks TL and WDW for posting these pics, they are gorgeous and fabulous. Jake as a bad boy with tattoos! YAY!!! I don't like tattoos but I love them on Heath and I now love them on Jake. TL, I looked hard at the tattoo but can't work out what it is either.
I love the second pic, the way he's standing, looks like a little boy lost.

Love the Esquire out-take pics. You wonder how many pics of Jake are lying around magazine editing rooms, and we have never seen them?! I really liked the one that you didn't, WDW, something about the use of his hand on his mouth.
It was nice to see Jake with Reese and her kids, glad we couldn't really see them though. I'm a conflicted pap-pic person. I've been to Pier 39 too, many years ago. I had no idea they had a webcam, how cool.

Hey TL - I know, it's not easy to look at these pictures in a rush. I've been having a look and wondering if the tat is an elaborate J for his initial in the film (Janik is it? or an anglicised version). Ruby says it's something else so she's on a mission to find out.
Hi Christie! Heath's tattooes (well, most of them) are great. They suit both him and Jake. I'm glad you liked the previous post, SNL was such a highlight. I can see I'm heavily outnumbered on the Esquire pic but that's OK! Yes, so many pics gone to waste - we need them :D
Can see why you couldnt go all the way with Candy, WDW - heart-wrenching - gut-wrenching - I guess I give credit to all involved for my willingness to stay with them. Heath is beyond fine!

Tattooed Jake Break time again! I've been wrapping Xmas presents and if I never see Zac Efron's face again it'll be too soon! So the tattoo pics are a very welcome distraction;)
WDW, I guess it could be a J, but what is the thing in the middle? Ruby, please let us know if you find out what it is, I need to know!!
Btw, am I right in thinking this is just a temporary tattoo for the film, not a permanent one? Jake looks super hot with it and it suits the character (from what little I know about it) but I'm not sure I'd like Jake to have a tattoo as a permanent fixture.
OK. I have examined the tattoo in close up, from every angle I can manage. I have explored several websites and have concluded beyond a doubt that it says "WDW" in extra-swirly cursive. :D ;) And kind of sideways - tilt your head if you don't have a laptop. :D
Of course I may be lightheaded having just done some housework without benefit of alcohol or chocolate.

I agree with many of you,I don't like tattoos either,although they do have a certain "je ne sais quoi" when Heath is the canvas and for a feature if the Janik character,the tattoo on Jake's neck is dead on! Makes him look harder,rougher and the sort to take you to all kinds of heaven in the sack(mind you Jake looks capable of that without any tattoos!!) Sheesh, am I getting carried away!!(and many say I should be!).
I'd still rather he didn't permanently mark that beautiful skin,although this temporary one might give him the tattoo bug,which I'm told is addictive. However,if the pull of his Jewish heritage is sufficiently strong,Jake would be unlikely to have a permanent tattoo as they are discouraged/forbidden in Judaism, I believe.
It's a pity you couldn't stay the course with "Candy",WDW. It's a sad and dispiriting watch,but hard-hitting and very convincing. Maybe someone should sit Amy Winehouse down and make her watch it,before drugs and the "wrong crowd" cost her her supreme talent and maybe her life! The whole cast is great, but Heath is pivotal for me.
And yes,Ruby, I'm gagging for "The Dark Knight" too,because Heath's performance as "The Joker" is already the stuff of legend,with tantalising trailers and his revered co-stars waxing lyrical about his extraordinary performance.
While on the subject,can I take the liberty of advising any RPS fans to get over to Live Journal to read Kumari's(as Debutante9) latest chapter of Ronin,Chapter 8,"The Joke's On You",posted on the 19th in honour of Jake's birthday. Heath gives a really rivetting performance as the Joker in that,I can tell you!
Everybody seems to be in fine holiday mood! Just because it's Christmas doesn't mean people stop needing prescriptions so I only get one day off extra to normal,because Tuesday is my day off anyway,but I can't complain really as I'm only a part-timer now. Just as well with a husband,2 cats,a house and several assorted "Oldies" to look after, not to mention all the Jaking I need to fit in!! My New Year Resolutions (apart from the old chestnuts like lose a bit of weight,clear out the clutter etc) are to always make time for Jaking...and to get back to visiting WDW every day! You know it makes sense!

Great to see you Nadine and on fine form too! I don't have a problem with tattoos just so long as they're the right kind - they have to have a certain quality and I'm not sure exactly what that is. I love Heath's (most of) and a couple of Becks' but I hate Robbie Williams'. I would have no trouble with Jake having a tat, so long as he consulted me on its design and where on his body to put it...

I have been exploring the Greek alphabet. that little w inside the the lower curl of the tat is like a lower-case Omega. :/ I thought for a sec we might have Alpha-Omega, beginning and the end thing going on, but it's not that. Have to explore other avenues.............it's easy to get lost on the web. I need to leave a trail of crumbs so's I can find my way back to Jake. :D

Okay I also gotta explain to the bare-bellied (in below freezing weather!) ring-in-her-navel long- legged doped-up-domestic (thanks Nadine tee hee) not only What Are Kumquats (little orange citrus nuggets with stems and green leaves attached, ask the greengrocer, he'll explain) but where is the chocolate covered halvah (on top of the deli counter) and what is "fennel" (goes with kumquats in salad) -
this by the way is the same young woman who wanted to know if Jake was a relative of mine, considering how many pix of him were plastered over fridge and so forth.
