Peet's caffe, Santa Monica, 7 January

Have you seen this man? Last seen leaving Peet's Cafe, Santa Monica, 7 January.

Jake Clyde Gyllenhaal and Reese Bonnie Witherspoon went for tea at Peet's Coffee and Tea House yesterday, where they apprehended the video camera of a pap, setting off a game of hide and seek with the photographer. Demonstrating that they are a force to be reckoned with, one wonders where the duo will strike next?! Stay tuned.

Thanks to IHJ for the pics.

Morning!

Is that a windbreaker of some sort? looks quite nice... :)

Why do people in LA who drink coffee every day go out to buy coffee instead of investing in a good machine and make it at home? And why so many actors think walking while drinking is a good way to enjoy your coffee?

All these coffee runs are a bit of a mystery to me.

Ack! If its not a beanie its a baseball hat! You know what, Jake Gyllenhaal? You can go and fuck yourself! LOL!
Okay, maybe not... Stay and show your hair on Monday...
LOL, I feel like I am getting more and more obsessed with his hair every day!

Hey Atticus, since the big Fedex meat delivery went wrong (btw thanks a lot for making me smile several times in that other thread), can't you go and eat up all your daddy's hats? I am sure they must be very tasty and nutritious...
Otherwise he might go and wear a hat to the Golden Globes - and we can't let that happen, can we?

And be good to your daddy, please. You know, bring him his slippers and the newspaper, give him some of your organic food. And make sure he gets enough fresh air by taking hime for a walk, I think he looks pretty tired in those pics...

I wish you a good day, too, WDW! And everyone else! :)

Winterbird just posted - LOL at you wondering about the coffee thing! I join you! ;)

Morning Winterbird! It looks like a cycling waterproof to me and I think it looks wonderful - I want one! And no Beanie, instead wisps of Rendition hair sneaking out from a cap - yumm :)

I really like this going out for a coffee culture! I only like fancy frothy coffee so I have to buy it. But yeah movie stars probably have the full works coffee machine at home but they just can't resist the pull of the coffee shop.

I got stuck in traffic this morning for over an hour :( So I missed today's coffee run - I'm starting to twitch.

It made it up to freezing this morning :)

Hey Uli! Posting at the same time :D You and Jake's hats - I told you, he's wearing them to wind you up! Maybe Atti will hear you too and eat em up. I'm trying to think what kind of hat Jake would wear to the Globes...

Have a good day! Go out and walk around with some coffee...

Only commenting because of the word that showed up when I refreshed...
obsansne! Sounds like a mix of obsessed and insane! How did blogger know??? That's scary!

Just one more thing. As weird as I find the running around with coffee all the time and even though I don't even drink coffee myself - that was one thing that I missed when I came back home from my long stay in the US: People running around with coffee all the time - cause it always made me think of Jake and smile! :)

Morning, Wet Dark!
Uli, you are not the only person obsessed by hair!
I believe he will show at the Golden Globe!: D

I'm anxious to see the Gold Globe, mainly because of Heath. He should win this prize.
I wish he was here to see it all!

Wet dark, like the reference to Bonnie and Clyde. So funny!:D:D

Have a great day!

Hey Uli! It's physically impossible to walk round LA without a coffee in your hand - I think it's a bylaw or something :D

Good morning Monica! I really am looking forward to the Globes! Nearly here. I'm glad you found that funny :D They were very dastardly...

Hope everyone's having a good day! Wamer here today, made it up to freezing...

Hahaha, so that's how Jake & Reese usually spend their time when they are not working, huh? They are thieves, and they steal cameras from poor innocent paps! Oh my, some people get to be so ridiculous sometimes...

And why so many actors think walking while drinking is a good way to enjoy your coffee?

That's what an Italian gal and fanatically purist when it comes to drinking coffe as me has always been thinking, Winterbird.
WTH, coffee must be consumed hot and on-spot (possibly confortably sat)and, if possible, a little more condensed .:)

Oh and Jake is beautiful in that first pic. I love that windbreaker, it defines Jake's muscles perfectly.
And I want one too, actually I want right the one Jake's wearing...

A good day to WDW and everyone.:)

I hear you, Xenia. I guess we both have some big adjustment to make if we move to LA! I've never "walk and drink coffee". In Greece, we'd order a frappe (kind of iced coffee) and we'd sit in the coffee shop for 2 hours! Or at home for more hours...

oh and yes, more condensed please. Starbucks are not real coffee, sorry Jake :P But Jake can drink milk and still look hot :)

I don't drink coffee! I don't like the flavor!

Hahahaha! I love the Bonnie & Clyde thing. So funny!

Now let's talk coffee. I used to live in LA and suffer a lot.
First, I dont get walking and drinking cold coffee from a paper cup. Second, I'm a Brazilian Gal, meaning I was born with a bottle of coffee. (LOL! Not that much). There's no real coffee in US. You can search the Country and you won't find it. They drink a hell of a waterly coffee that could be called Coffee-Tea, or the strongest expresso ever, like tint. Awful. I used to buy a Colombian coffee that was the closest I've found to Brazilian Coffee's taste, or I'd never have real coffee.
But...crazy as I am, I miss the lovely smell of bad coffee you can sent from LAX to the last corner of the city.

HAve a good day, everyone.

Someone needs to import some Blue Mountain blend to LA :)

I went to a specialised cafe in Chicago and they got quite a few good ones, like Colombian, Blue Mountain and Melange (Viennese)etc, and they don't do take-away, all coffee served in porcelain cup and saucer. That's about the only time I had decent coffee in US.

Clyde Gyllenhaal is lookin' awful good in that first pic. Up to a little mischief. ;)

What a busy day... Hello everyone!

Loving the coffee discussion :D

Hi Xenia! Condensed coffee? - one wonders what that is... Over here I tend to think that tea is for drinking in cafes while coffee is for on the move. But in a hot climate, I love drinking a coffee/beer outside and watching the world parade by. I want the jacket too!

Hey Winterbird - only one thing to say - iced coffee? UGH

I really like American coffee - well, the frothy stuff. And, although I've had some horrible tea over there, in California I've had the best tea I've ever had. Urth cafe is fabulous for its teas.

Hi Monica! I only started drinking coffee when I started working in London and it was necessary to get me through long days - I discovered Lattes!

Hey Monica O! Now you Brazilians will know your coffee, that's for sure. Although when I was living in the Middle East the coffee was enough to knock you out just with a sniff. But I just love LA coffee - it's part of the experience of the place. And the smoothies.

Hi Anon! He most certainly is! (on both counts :D)

Off home... phew :) Someone put the kettle on...
