Jake heats up NYC!
Hot on the heels of yesterday's sighting of Jake Gyllenhaal in NYC, comes the pictures! Here is Jake yesterday (11 February) leaving a clothing store in the city, his disguise of cap, sunglasses and large coat completely failing due to his extreme hotness levels. I'm fighting the urge to want to button up the coat. Good luck to Peter and Maggie on Uncle Vanya's Opening Night this evening!

Aaaaah, he looks great! Yup winterbird - the hat definitely works with that coat and the rest! Much much better than with the shirt from LAX!

WTF? Are you crazy or feeling sick WDW? You better get to a hospital quick. Anyone who advises someone who sees Jake to make sure his clothes are on him and buttoned securely is obviously delirious, mentally ill or almost near death with a terrible, terrible disease. Hallucinations of covering that beautiful man up with clothes is well known in the medical field worldwide as the first sign of a serious life threatening illness. WDW please take care of yourself and get professional help NOW. I wish you a full and speedy recovery.

I know, I know, Get Well!! I must be crazy - I'm certainly conflicted. I see Jake in that big coat, all cold, and I want to wrap him up in it and do up the buttons. But this battles with my more basic instincts which are to pull the thing off him! Oh the mental torment that Jake causes, especially when he's in a colder climate... Thanks for the Get Well wishes - I may need 'em!!

WDW I agree with Get Well Soon when it comes to Jake putting clothes on would be the last thing on my mind!! But it is cold out there and I know what you mean about being conflicted...
The truck is like one I saw on my last visit to New York. It was only December but it seems like years ago now.

Let me put this in perspective: Jake is proving, beyond the shadow of a doubt, that he knows how to ear clothes better than almost any man alive. Buttoned or unbuttoned, they always look super on (or almost off) him.
Let's not get caught up with guilt feelings. Beautifying America has no downside!
Bundle up, WDW, there's good weather news ahead: We in Boston get your weather a few days befopre you as it goes from West to East. You are caught in the polar weather we had last week, but now we have a delightful thaw, and you will soon have it yourself. :-)

To button up or not to button up... that is the question. I love that look on him, he wears it so well. And I love the idea of him walking round NYC, taking the tube, visitng landmarks and shopping like regular-folk. But he's probably spent too much time in the UK looking the other way at incoming traffic. Watch out baby... remember, you're my retirement plan.

Paul, that is spot on! Jake with clothes on or almost off (or all off, to be honest...) is unbeatable. Sigh. He does a great job - I like the 'beautifying America' :D
I'm glad to hear there's some better weather on the way because it's started snowing again. And there are floods :( I'll look at Jake again to warm up!
Hi Sheba! Posting at the same time :D Jake's a winter warmer all right! Hopefully he learnt some crossing the road skills in London that will stand him in good stead in NYC :D I like the idea of Jake being one of the crowd too, doing everyday things (as long as we get the occasional glimpse!).
