Le chic - Jake brings out the suit for the luminous boutique

A visit to the Nina Ricci.... (somehow the word 'shop' seems inappropriate here) 'luminous boutique' on Avenue Montaigne in Paris is no ordinary affair. The shopper... (somehow the word 'shopper' seems inappropriate here too) the 'clientele' are made to feel that they are 'visiting a private Parisian home' and therefore it's advised that the men at least get a shave and don a suit. And for that we can be grateful - as shown when Jake, Reese and a possy of paps visited Nina Ricci's yesterday (March 15).

But a tip, though, for when you're next in Paris with a few spare quid, it's possible that the boutique is a tad on the drafty side - Jake carried his scarf in the street but had to put it on inside. Looking good Jake! Even the big hand couldn't resist a tickle...

Meanwhile you can see a couple of pap videos of the previous day in Paris here and here.

Many thanks to IHJ for keeping on top of the European tour souvenir pictures!

LOL, are you making this up that men have to shave when going to Nina Ricci or is this really mandatory??

Oooooh, you didn't have to remove the last pic of your last post because of me... :-/ The pic sure looks funny, I just can't help thinking of what was also going on there... But maybe that's just me, you know?? I am sorry...

Enjoy your day off!!!

Yeah, it's true, Uli! It's in the small print of their website... Oh, all right then, I made it up :D This is just the kind of shop where I'd be so scared to go in unless for a dare... No worries about the pic *)

I'm about to relocate to the field outside my flat with a bottle of beer and a good book and my mini laptop :D The gnats are all out though - they're drawn to me, so I'm very itchy.

Morning Monica! I like to see Jake looking smart too :D I suppose there could have been some sort of formal event for the movie that they had to go to.

Sorry to hear it's still rainin :(

Have a good day everyone!

Jake looks so dashing! He does know how to work a suite. Ah, Paris...

Jake...

Do you think it hurts being so handsome?
I hope not because he would be in excruciating pain if it did.

You know what? Nothing interests me less that a fancy boutique. Give me a museum or an historical site and I go gaga. Even a beach! Because it offers the chance to see a shirtless Jake. But a boutique or a store of any kind (well, except for a bookstore) doesn't excite me at all.

However I would endure 1,000 stores just for Jake. He can make boutiques fascinating for me. If I ever go to Paris I might even go to all those places just to say I was in the same place that Jake once was (of course, no chance to shopping there for me).

But, wouldn't it be nicer if he and Reese decided to go in a tour to a warmer place? They wouldn't need to put so many clothes on... that would be more comfortable for them. Right?

Have a great week everybody!!!!

Hi Get Real! Oh, he does indeed :D Hope you're having a good day!

Thanks Sara :D I'm with you on the shops - I'm not a shopper, myself. I'd much rather look around a city's historic or cultural area. But then again I don't have any money, so that might make a difference! But if Jake wanted to drag me round every shop in Paris, well, I suppose I'd put up with it :D

Does anyone really believe the Nina Ricci "luminous boutique" would have barred Jake from coming in no matter what he wore?

I think not.

Of course noone really believes it, Anon! They would have welcomed him with open arms if he'd been stark naked. It's a joke :D
