We have another new clip today from Brothers featuring Jake Gyllenhaal and Tobey Maguire - and it comes with a full warning for its power and intensity. I always knew I wanted to see Brothers but I had no idea just how much until today.
Here again is the other new clip from this morning.

[Update] There was another clip in the post this morning that wasn't viewable outside the US and was difficult to upload. I've managed it to some degree but it's not perfect. I hope you can still enjoy it.
This video features a brief interview with Brothers' producer Ryan K, which includes a chat about Bono's response to seeing the movie.
Stephanie has also just told me that there is to be a Brothers special on December 3 on the TV Guide Network. it will be called 'Big Movie Premiere: Brothers'. And, as if that isn't enough, IHJ has also just put up two more amazing Prince of Persia images. Just look at the details, that face.... Click on them and take a step back.
Update: Thanks to a reader for letting us know some details about the Brothers premiere on Sunday: It's at 7.30pm on Sunday at the School of Visual Arts in NYC with an after party at Abe & Arthur's. Tellingly, the premiere is describes as 'intimate'. Details of the event and the associated auction (now closed) here.

Absolutely stunning PoP pic - and I didn't think anything could be better than the Eyeglasses pic. Those lips, those eyes - and I luuuuuve the scar. I beg to differ; his hair is beautiful. The edging around the armor too. :)
The Brothers clip is very real.
From the second I saw that head of long hair (not on set - simply walking around London and at various airports) I loved it. I can only hope Jake takes on future characters that have long hair. An incredibly sexy look for him IMHO.

Wow - I wish I knew about this auction in advance! This was the same auction site (CharityFolks.com) that we used to win our lunch with Jake (and the same charity - ACLU of Southern California). And the final bid that won was only $1,200. That's only $600 per person to go to the movie and the after party!! What a steal!!
I like how they say it is "not the official premiere, but the New York City premiere". And it's interesting that it is is sponsored by Details and DKNYMen (hmmmm...new clothes for Jake)?! And the party is at Abe & Arthur's - nice!!

They say "intimate" to make you feel as if you will be rubbing elbows with the stars. But I once went to a movie premiere and afterparty for another movie, not Jake's, several years ago, and there were only(!) 400 people at this intimate gathering,and the "stars" were in a roped off VIP section, complete with their own bathroom, and with giant security guards posted. We could stand there "windows pressed against the glass" figuratively speaking, but we had no true access nor could we tell them their movie was crap...which it was.
If they keep showing us enough clips we won't have to see the movie. They can spoil it for us.
That jaw dropping gorgeous picture of Jake brought me out of hiding. I haven't posted in a very long time but I still read your blog everyday, WDW. It's the only place I go to for all the great Jake news. Really looking forward to Brothers and PoP. You are doing an excellent job.

Hi Monterey and welcome :D I've been to enough premiere events myself to know that they're not quite what they promise but still, this would be so exciting. It makes all the difference when you care passionately about the film and its makers :) I was thrilled just to be in the same theatre as Jake in Toronto and Rome.
I suppose the thing with all these clips is that you don't have to watch them, and possibly some people aren't. But for me, it just makes me want to see it more and more. The film seems more than I imagined. Also, a lot of people have quite a wait, remember, before this film comes out, well into 2010. This keeps the interest going and the wait shorter.

This Prince of Persia latest just takes my breath away - what a gorgeous face Jake has. I thought the Eyeglasses pic was the ultimate, but this is it. His eyes, lips, lashes, and I luvvve the scar, and all the details of his armor. :)
All the Brothers info is wonderful too - Dec. 4 will be here before we know it. I hope the Q&A sessions goes well too. :)

Btw, saw the People Magazine, with Johnny Depp sexiest man alive cover, on the stand today and was thumbing through it and the Jake picture they used is a new one and beyond gorgeous! It is a similar one as the new eyeglasses one but without glasses. It must have been done on the same photo shoot. His eyes are a stunning blue and that gaze and the hair...omg, you MUST get it.

I have really good hope for Brothers and jake's performance. He is the best actor for the part , so subtle and natural and...well let's say "interesting" to watch!!

The first time I saw Jake was in Donnie and I had what's called a love after sight. For one moment I saw my ideal " school boyfriend" ( sound ridiculous)and I feel he will be my ideal "prince" soon. Oh well... it's feel good to be 15 again lol
