A much closer look at Mini Jake and his little Prince of Persia lego friends - and baddies - and ostriches

Jake Gyllenhaal can now join the line of fans anxious to get their mitts on buy for their small friends all 1,811 pieces of Prince of Persia lego. It is now on Amazon (the American version only for the time being) wth full details and some great pictures. I'm pleased to say that you get two ostriches so you can race Jake against Jake and so get the desired ostrich race result.

Fascinatingly, the lego captures Jake's lip in all its Gyllenhaal glory.

And other bits too...

We have Mini Jake in no end of perilous situations.

We have baddies with snakes and a menacing stare.

we have Mini Gemma.

And some other things as well...

Good heavens!

OMG! I love the bare chested Dastan on the ostrich! :DDD I wish I could keep one on my desk at work, I'm sure it would cheer me up when I'm having a hard day.

What's wrong with the mouth of Dastan on a horse? Is that a tooth on the left? :D

I'm very sorry blogger ate your comment on the other post, I bet that snow shoes explanation was interesting. :)

Hey Olympia! I know I want a host of mini bare-chested Jakes riding ostriches on my desk. May have to do that :D I supose I can't really re-enact the whole battle of Alamut at work, which is a shame. IThat lip is hyseterical, I do like the expressions and detail on these little people.

I was surprised to see my comment had gone. I distinctly remember writing it. Maybe I hit the wrong button - sigh - as it was a corker ;D

Our snow is melting - hooray!! I may even be able to go to a supermarket this weekend :D

OMG, my word is 'buythewholesetoflego'!

I agree with Olympa, the one on the ostrich is just too funny!! And the prince on a black horse.. mmm...

Monica, you don't need to spend your money on it. Don't worry, they will be flying off the shelves once Disney steps up the gear. *g*

Hey Winterbird! Is it wrong to find lego hot? I wonder if there's a name for it...

Oh I can't wait - I've got a reason to buy lego again - children of a friend are of an age to be legoing. I'm, er, I mean they, are going to get a lot, soon. ;-)

I recommend the Herald interview Monica has linked to, there is a particularly fascinating paragraph in there...
