A lucky tweeter saw Jake twice over the last few days - at a barbecue (he was 'very low key, quiet, cooool. Yes, hot!') and in something called an 'eggroll line' at West Tisbury Farmers Market 'hiding behind a bushy beard'.
A September DVD date for PoP?
The indications are that Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time will be released on DVD as soon as 14 September. If this report turns out to be true, then there will be two releases available - a single DVD and a Blu-Ray/DVD pack which will contain one Blu-Ray and 2 DVDs (no doubt, that'll be the one with the extras). So, not long to wait at all. We just need to find out what the goodies will be.
Take That Brokeback
Another bit of 'news' today caught my attention. The news that Robbie Williams and Take That's Gary Barlow are to reunite later this year with a song that will compare their relationship to that of Jack Twist and Ennis Del Mar. Not only that, the video will include a parody of Brokeback Mountain. One wonders if they've even seen it. I doubt it.
And finally...
Talking of Hot Jake, the winner of American Idol, Kris Allen, was asked which male celebrity he would take to a desert island. Kris replied Jake. He gets my vote.

Only prince of Persia in DVD will take the blues away for me. I had such a fantastic time during may, I can't help but miss those days. It wasn't a month, it was an era!! And you were my guide through it, WDW! Thank you so much for that. So... September, huh? And later, LAOD. Cool!! Can't wait. ;-)

Robbie Williams is definitely gay I reckon, so maybe has seen Brokeback.

isn't twitter GREAT, we can hear all the tidbits of Jake's MV vacation. I'm surprised the paps haven't followed him yet. I wonder if he Knew Tom Welling before or if they met on MV.
I'm glad to hear he's hanging out with his friend Chris and that Maggie is there too. I saw the front cover of Good Housekeeping. She and Emma look very nice.
I was thinking POP would be released around the holiday time. Sept is kinda early. Not that I mind but it is kind of a surprise to me that Disney wouldn't want to cash in on the holiday shoppers.
I liked the Kris Allen vid, so he'd like to hang out with Jake. who wouldn't? I wonder if this will get back to Jake?

Disney released the Johnny Depp "Alice in Wonderland" 4 months after its release. Rem. reading how some folks didn't like it released so soon after it was in the theaters so it's a thing Disney is doing and not because of how POP did at the box office.

Don't know what to make of Robbie Williams and Gary Barlow's Brokeback parody. Not sure I like the sound of it which is disappointing as I was really looking forward to Robbie reuniting with Gary and the rest of Take That.
I sure hope this leak re: the PoP DVD turns out to be true! Only a 2 month wait?! Whooowheee! The description says the 3 disc set includes a digital copy so it doesn't sound like a disc of bonus features (but boy would that be great)! I hope Disney is smart about the bonus features and includes a ton of them plus audio commentary by Jake. Hello?! Are you listening Disney?! At least the combo blu-ray/DVD takes care of my dilemma of which I am going to buy - yes, I've already been thinking about that!
There have been so many sightings on MV...sounds like a great vacay. One little teeny tiny non-invasive photo wouldn't kill anyone (hee hee).
To TD: Yes...West Tisbury is on MV. A very quiet area away from the hustle and bustle of the more touristy areas. The whole island is so wonderful, really.

Yet another parody of Brokeback Mountain. It doesn't sound too tasteful. I remember when BBM came out, Jake always accepted the jokes people made with great grace. I remember one excruciating occasion at a sports award show (ESPN Awards?) when Lance Armstrong made a joke at Jake's expense.

Where did the idea come from that Kris Allen was gay - he was married when he went to try to be on American idol. He and Adam lambert are great friends and it doesn't matter to him because he sees people as people.
I listen to a sports show and guys will say they "love" their favorite football player.
