At last! Jake Gyllenhaal out on his motorbike! And it's a Triumph!
It's all too much...! As if the second Love and Other Drugs trailer wasn't enough, now we are treated to the highly anticipated and much longed for pictures of Jake Gyllenhaal out and about with his motorbike! And not only that, it's a bloody fantastic bike, a classic British bike, the Triumph Bonneville T100. And doesn't he look great on it?! As a Triumph rider myself (admittedly a lesser model but still with that earthy gritty roar that makes people stop and look), I am slightly over-excited by these pictures. Just a tad. Many many thanks to IHJ for these absolutely amzing photographs, which include father Stephen, which were taken at Cafe Midi in LA yesterday. I'd have to sit down if I wasn't already.

I remember Heath having a motorcycle too, it was an Italian Ducati. It would have been wild to see these two head out on the highway together!

Hey Sweetpea :D Ducatis are gorgeous but I don't know if I'd ever like to see Jake on one of those... The leather jacket is essential! You do get hot at traffic lights etc but you can't ride a bike just wearing a t-shirt. Gorgeous :D
Just as well these pics have just come out - they're anaesthetising me a little against the pain of my exhaust pipe bill :(

Hello everybody! I'm with you from few weeks, but that's my first post. I'm big Jake's fan from Poland. That's my big joy to come here everyday and find something knew about Jake. This morning with a second trailer - you made my day WDW, and now this afternoon with Jake on a bike - you did it again!
I can't wait to see this movie, so far, I don't know when. Don't you find him too thin on a face in a trailer? He looks great but somehow older than his age beacause of the shadows under his eyes.
The ticket was for looking so darn sexy.
Squeeeee! I just watched the second trailer, it's amazing! And it has a Jake voice over! *happy sigh* I loved the first one but it's so misleading, this one I think gives a better idea of the story. This is so my kind of movie, I've never been so excited about one of Jake's movies. I have no doubt this is a perfect role for him and I won't have to close my eyes to not see something horrifying. Woohoo!
Love the bike pics! I also love how the helmet hides the beard. :DDD Sweetpea, I thought the same thing about Heath and Jake and their motorcycle. I don't think I would have survived the hotness of such a pic. :)

Jake was definitely going through a thinner phase during LAOD - he seemed to lose that PoP muscle very quickly although a lot of it looks like it's back now. Thanks again Mermon and do come back!

OMG just home now to fully appreciate these pics I've been longing to see for so long:) This is a real Christmas and Birthday come together week with all that's been happening.

I have been watching the new trailer properly a couple of times now and this is the most excited I've ever been before the release of one of Jake's movies. It just seems to have a bit of everything comedy, drama and a couple of other obvious attractions that I don't need to explain to those here lol:)
I sent a link of it to my Best Friend and even he's excited about it but for the Anne Hathaway factor I think:)

Amazing, eh, Carol?! Just wonderful. I hope we see lots more pictures of Jake out and about on this glorious motorbike. I adore PoP and I thoroughly enjoyed the run up to it and the release, but LAOD is gonna be something special, a film to treasure in the future in our well-watched pile of Jake DVDs. Good times!

First a pic of Jake holding his niece, and now a motorbike pic! He has legs forever in one of those photos.
Can't help thinking about Heath. He used to ride around LA in a motorbike too and used his helmet for privacy, taking it off when he got into the building.
But I am glad we can see Jake's beautiful face in these photos.:)

I am liking the way Jake's jeans are fitting him these days. They have not been those overly baggy jeans. Has anyone noticed his tummy / chest area is filling out like his POP days or could it be too much cake?
Jake needs his own kid, I volunteer my services as the mommy. Its a hardship but the world needs more little Gyllenhaals to make everyone go SQUEEEE!
A very long day so it took me quite a while to finally get here but of course I already squeeed via email with you, WDW, when I saw those motorcycle pictures! I knew you would love these! It's great to see Jake out and about and after a few motorcycle sightings it's nice to finally see the real thing!
I laughed so hard at Jake trying to pay for his expired meter once he saw he was getting a ticket (at least that's what it looks like to me)! I don't know why I found that funny but I did.
I see some talk of him wearing his motorcycle helmet - it's the law in California. It's the law in most states (Thank God). Very few states left that haven't made it a law yet and whenever I see it my stomach just drops at the thought of what could happen to those people.
It's been quite a few days...a trailer, birthday party pictures, another trailer, motorcycle pictures...what's next?! Can't wait!!

You are most certainly right, BBMISwear :-) Pics I've been dreaming of seeing. That was funny about trying to give the warden change. We've seen Jake get a few ickets over the years, he must be a bad parker! Mind you, I never know how people in the US have enough quarters for parking meters.
That's good about the helmet law as I've certainly seen quite a few bikers without helmets in California - is it not enforced? Fortunately, not a sight you'd see here. Just the idea makes me shiver.

A good Californian friend of mine on a visit a few yrs ago couldn't understand why so many people in the UK wore helmets and leathers on motobikes. He was esp. surprised about the leathers.
