I've not been able to do a post tonight due to an elaborate myriad of technical reasons - ie, I have very little internet. I have just arrived on the south coast of Cornwall and what it lacks in internet connection (and it lacks rather a lot on that front) it more than makes up for in extraordinary beauty, peace and a world of blue. Tomorrow I arrive at my destination when I should be able to catch up, in the meantime, please excuse a southern Cornwall Interlude. After this beautiful evening I wonder why I venture abroad at all. Jake, Cornwall needs you!
Please note how I refrained from posting pictures of the seagull that chose to regurgitate for its young about two foot in front of me...
Pictures by WDW.

Hi everyone - apologies for the non-Jake post - it was taking too long to get round the internet problem. So, instead of no post at all, I thought I'd shrink some pics and share those with you instead. AFter all, I did say I was taking you with me :)
We're off to the Lizard tomorrow! It's gonna be great :D
Beautiful pics WDW. Cornwall and Devon is a place I've always wanted to visit.
woow! what a beautiful place!
enjoy Kate :)
Don't make apologies for pictures as stunning as these. Who wants Jake when you have a sea view like that? ;-)
*here's to hoping that Jake reads this, is hurt in his ego by it and rushes to Cornwall to show in every possible way why we dó want him*
Thanks Carol, Linda and Lady Ekster! I have pretty much no net at all now - just a bit on my phone. But it's such a beautiful place - hopefully tomorrow! Jake is very welcome to come along and navigate :D
OMG I actually got a cooment to post - been trying for over an hour!
Absolutely beautiful...I know I would love visiting Cornwall. I would never ever leave.:)
Ah, Cornwall is so beautiful!
Thanks for the post.
Cheers
Tui
Morning all! The breakfast room has wifi :)
Hi Sass and Tui! It's just lovely :D
Off to the Eden Project and moving on later so service should be resumed this evening (*crosses fingers*)
Have a good day!
Gosh yes, Cornwall is giving Jake a run for his money! I agree with lovely comment here - hope Jake needs urgently to visit Cornwall so that our heads are turned back to him again :D
Can't wait for an Eden project looksee....
TD
Don't apologize, I love it when you post pics of your trips. You're a very good photographer and Cornwall looks like a gorgeous place for a vacation. I hope you enjoy it! :)
What's the Lizard?
Olympia
beautiful post, WDW. Maybe these pics might entice Jake to come to Cornwall and hang out with you (if he doesn't come they certainly make me want to go)
sweetpea
Have a fab time at the Eden project WDW. My parents went there before and loved it:)
Looking forward to hearing about it.
Hello from the edge of the world! My internet dongle is struggling but I've been told there's wifi in the bar... :D
A note to the Cornish: Please can you make your roads wider and get rid of those huge hedges? Thanks.
Hi there TD, Olympia and Sweetpea :D It was mizzly at Project Eden - nowhere mizzles quite like Cornwall (ie, drizzle and mist). I see that both Mumford & Sons and Rufus have done shows there this summer. What an amazing venue.
The Lizard is the extreme SW of Cornwall - a very picturesque peninsula.
Off now to take some pics and then I'll plant myself in the bar and do a post :D
Thanks so much to you all for being so kind and putting up with the non-Jake post :D
Hi Carol! Posting at the same time :D The Eden Projectis a very special place. I may call in again on my way home as one day gets you a year's entry. Hope things are good with you!
Jake, pop over to Cornwall! I need someone to drive me around - these roads are too narrow!
