** Emergency Post ** Jake Gyllenhaal gets on his bike

If Jake Gyllenhaal out on his Bonneville Triumph doesn't deserve an Empergency Post, I don't know what does. There are very few occasions when Jake's face is not a necessity for a photograph and this is definitely one of them. However, there is another part of Jake we shouldn't be seeing in these photos and that's his hands - gloves, Jake, please! These photos also explain the mysterious stain that we noted on Jake's then new shoes back at the beginning of June. It's now clear that the stain is that notorious oil leak stain that is associated with some British bikes. It also shows that Jake may have had the bike longer than we thought. [If there's a role going in Sherlock Holmes, I'm up for it.] Please note that I've turned the volume down on this Emergency Post due to squeeeing decibels. It is a breakfast Emergency Post after all.

Many thanks to IHJ for these gorgeous pics - there are more there.

If you're interested, I've written a review tonight of The Kids Are All Right at MovieBrit.

Awww thanks for this goodie morning post! A-ha! So that's the stain...

Well he and the bike definitely are a great view... so I'm glad I always check the twitter to not miss any yummy goodies like this!

Btw, the premiere in London for LAOD is no longer on Dec. 6th, right?

Hello Snow! Great start to the day.

Why do you say that about the 6th? It's still listed as uncomfirmed for then. The film is opening in the UK on 31 December.

Hi! Thx for emergency post WDW!
Those pics on bike are very sexy, he looks like a prince on his mechanic horse.
Look at his hands, I'm sensitive to men's hands and Jake has nice ones :)
I can imagine how comfortable he feels under his helmet, seeing everything without being seen.

Ahhhhhh I love a guy on a motor bike and the way they handle the bike ;). So nice to see him out and about. Finally got my BB Torch and its excellent so much better than the Bold so hopefully I can squee more frequently and quicker.

BTW in case we don't say it enough WDW you are an Internet treasure thank you for feeding the Jake hunger :D

Just as I'm not sure about it and as the opening is on the 31st,- don't know how that works really-, if the premiere can be such long time in advance.

I was planning to go to London for it but I can't book anything until confirmed and as it's bank holiday during those days where I live tix are getting higher so I will stay tuned!

Have a good The kids are all right!

*sings along to Salt 'N Pepa* What a man, what a man, what a mighty good man!

I think you'd make a fabulous Sherlock sidekick, WDW. Sherlock will need more than Watson to beat Moriarty! :-D And I'm guessing you wouldn't mind spending a few months with RDJ and Jude Law. ;-)

Hello everyone! Back from a lovely autumnal ride on our Triumph :D

I do agree, Mermon - it must be a great way to get around when you don't want to be noticed :D

Thanks Sheba *) Good news about the Torch!

Oh thanks Snow! Premieres are often long in advance of films opening so it wouldn't be unusual for it to be on 6 December and it's still listed for that night. Unfortunately final confirmation could be very late. It always is :(

Glad to hear it Tiffany!

Oops, sorry Fie! ;-)

It's a lovely bike, 14:05 :D

Ooh, thanks Lady Ekster! I would like it - especially with RDJ.

Good to see you BBMISwear - you probably heard me squeeing from there! :-)

Thanks for the link Karmentxu! Jake always seems to make a point of seeing Busy when he's in LA, very nice :)

he looks REAL cool on his wheels. I wonder how long he's been riding? I only wish Heath were here, it would have been awesome to see him on his Brit bike and Heath on his Italian Ducati, tearing up the streets of LA together.

Thanks WDW

BFCA scores Love And Other Drugs
Once again, I’m breaking down by category the Broadcast Film Critics scores. Last year’s cutoff for Best Picture was 85. Neither Made in Dagenham nor Love and Other Drugs has managed to start out with anything better than a 3-star rating, but it’s early yet.

Love And Other Drugs - 77

I think this score really good!
