Jake Gyllenhaal on the set of End of Watch, 19 July (hair is an optional extra in this movie)

New photos have emerged of Jake Gyllenhaal and Michael Pena on the set of End of Watch in LA (taken on 19 July). If one had any last faint hopes that hair might be involved at least a little bit, consider them dashed. Yes, Baldy Jake is back and so is the uniform, complete with a belt that has so many accessories attached to it it's a wonder it doesn't pull the trousers down rather than hold them up. Jake is shown here getting into character by practising his sparring skills and staring at peas.

I like those pictures. At last something new. Jake is so funny on some of them. It looks like he has a lot of fun posing. Or maybe it's from a movie set. On some pics it looks like they've have already started.
It seems that, so far, Anna Kendrick makes a different movie - What to expect when you are expecting. So probably she will join EoW later.; 20 July 2011 at 19:35

I think she is, Monica, she'll probably be joining them later. I doubt her role is as big as Jake's.

Susan said...: I miss the hair and I'm not necessarily a uniform fan, but he is one hunk of juicy hotness in those photos! I wonder how long they will be involved in filming EOW? And then there's always lots of post-production and other things I know nothing about. I just know I'm already anxious to see the finished product. :)

Although I definitely prefer hair Jake is rockin' this look I think! TD mentioned CHiPS and I laughed out loud at that memory (from many many years ago). She even typed it the right way - ha ha! But ya know what? They are very CHiPS looking!!

Wet Dark and Wild said...: Hi Mermon, CHiPs was a US cop series from twenty years ago or more, about police on motorbikes on the coast. They wear this kind of uniform so it brings back the memories.

I only know this because of government courses in college, no personal experience (knock wood).
