Source Code available VOD in the US and Jake Gyllenhaal's back to the Medical Center (after Iceland I'm not surprised...)

With the DVD and Blu-ray release still a fortnight away in the US and a bit longer than that for the UK, Source Code is today unleashed on the American public as Video on Demand. For full details of how this works, I am indebted to the chic and handsome ManMadeMovies. They have also provided this link to iTunes, from where you can download the film. If you're in the US, that is.

Jake Gyllenhaal was back at the Medical Centre on Tuesday, 5 July. If I'd have experienced half of what he went through in those Man Vs Wild clips, I'd have been in need of some medical attention myself. Are worms good for one?

Thanks to IHJ for the picture.

Pictures of clean shaven Jake are very nice. Not only because he looks good, but he seems to be in better mood lately. Maybe because he's starting new movie adventure. I bet he's happy about it. As we all do.
I read somewhere on internet, that good reason for frequent visits to Medical Center may be Insurance Company demand for frequents check-ups. That's possible. Especially, as you said Kate, after Iceland experience and before new movie.

I wouldn't mind that kiss after worm-eating, but only with Jake :)

I'm looking forward to your Harry Potter' review, Kate. I hope you will see it soon. I will go certainly too.

Good for Source Code, to be available by VOD, but I'm going to wait and buy my very own Blu-ray. I'm anticipating some great special features!

As to the nutritional value of worms, Bear said they were "packed with protein" and it seemed as if he meant that to sound like a good thing. Mentally and emotionally though, I don't think munching on worms can be all that healthy. Just saying....

Thanks for the info on VOD and Jake's med visit. I wonder if they've started filming EOW?

I think I'll wait for the DVD to come out (I don't have Blu Ray)

Nice new sidebar there, WDW! :-)

My 2nd Source Code viewing was very comfy tonight, however strange that may sound. I sunk back into my seat, knowing the plot, and enjoyed every second, taking in so many details I had missed during the 1st time. Colter talking to his dad brought tears to my eyes. It really, really is a brilliant movie!

The weekly visit could be simply for allergy shots, I get them weekly during this time of the year. I require injections.

Morning everyone! Thank heavens it's the weekend, I've had quite a week I can tell you...

Hi Mermon! I do think it could be insurance related but it could be for just bout anything! Thanks :) I'll be seeing HP next weekend. Friends who've seen it really love it so I have high hopes.

I would wait for the Blu ray or DVD too, Susan - and all those extras! Shudders at the thought of a worm protein drink...

I reckon they have, Sweetpea :)

Thanks Lady Ekster! Been doing some housekeeping :) I definitely enjoyed the second SC viewing - it's such a great plot.

Hi Anon! With all my sneezing, I could do with some of those...

Have a good day everyone. Off to Pandamonium in the Park at Althorp Park :)

I just read through comments from the past few days re: the worm eating and can see that we all feel the same way - YUK!! I'm looking forward to the show but scared at the same time. I do some crazy things because of this guy, I'll tell ya! LOL! It was good to see so many of you agreed about the buzz his appearance has caused. I'm sure the Discovery Channel people are very happy with the excitement from potential audience members for Monday night (which will include a ton of people that would not be watching the show otherwise). Yay Jake (and his Gyllenhaalics)! :-)

I'm so looking forward to watching SC tonight on VOD! My plan to do so last night fell through. After all those theater viewings it will be nice to watch it at home. I'll of course be getting the Blu-Ray on the 26th and jump immediately to those bonus features I love so much but I'm really excited to see the movie again and I have others I am excited to show it to that haven't seen it yet. (It's always good to build the SC fan base)!! I was surprised to see it only costs $4.99 per viewing - I thought for sure a film showing 2 weeks BEFORE it's DVD release would be a lot more. Wow...Jake on my TV tonight AND Monday night (good stuff since I usually don't watch much TV at all)!

Hope everyone's having a good weekend...thanks for the updates WDW!! :-)

Hey there BBMISwear :-) I hope you have a wonderful evening with Colter on your TV. I'm surprised it's so cheap - but hopefully that means a lot of people will see it.

I really think that Man Vs Wild sis going to introduce a whole new mass of people to our brave and handsome Jake. But worms, ugh, I draw the line at worms!

Thanks to the British Grand Prix spent hours driving round country lanes today. Harrumpf...

I already have my VCR all set to tape Man Vs Wild for posterity. I plan to watch it of course as well.

Sorry but I won't be snacking on worms or sheep guts or anything like that while watching.

Morning Sweetpea :) If only it were on in my country. I definitely would give the worms a miss in favour of some other snack!

Have a good day everyone - a very relaxing Sunday here after another busy day yesterday. I'll be watching the British Grand Prix that caused me such trouble on the roads yesterday with all roads shut!

Did Jake attend the BAFTA event for William and Kate in LA last night? There were so many stars there I can't imagine why he wouldn't be included or want to go.

Hi there 16:39 :) I couldn't see Jake on the list but then there are a lot of stars who weren't there. I bet this is a very busy time for Jake what with filming going on etc. Looked like a wonderful event!
