Breakfast with Jake Gyllenhaal in NYC, 2 November

On 2 November, Jake Gyllenhaal took his bag and his finely coiffed taches (it is Movember after all) to Cafe Cluny in NYC for breakfast. He also managed to fit in another GyllenHug.

Personally speaking, I find that breakfast is the meal that divides and defines nations. Here in Blighty, if eating out, we do like our English Breakfast - whether the veggie version or the full fat bacon and sausage option. In much of the rest of Europe, the Continental Breakfast holds sway. In the US you seem to get a little bit of the best of all worlds with maple syrup on the top. One of the best things about living in a metropolis like London, Paris or NYC is that you can take your pick and mix it up. Jake seems to like that.

Many thanks to IHJ for the new pictures - there are more there.

My review of In Time is now up on MovieBrit.

You're making me hungry WDW (and it's 9:45PM here EST so I'm not sure breakfast will do the trick)! Looks like a nice place - I may have to check it out next time I'm in NYC.

Happy Weekend!

:-)

I looked up the menu of the place and it all looks yummy, they have both vegetarian and meat courses

I wonder who the woman is?

Cafe Cluny, one more place on Jake's NY map. I went in the link you gave, Kate, to the gallery. It's seems to be a nice place. Food look interesting too.Cafe Cluny gallery

I never heard about Movember before. It's so funny. Is it a common men's excuse to do not shave? :)
We don't have this tradition in my country. Maybe I should let Polishmen know about it.
The letter "M" is like Moustache?

Hi there BBMISwear :-) Sorry about that! But definitely one for the list :)

It looks great, Sweetpea :) Jake does seem to have a lot of friends in NYC, I can see why he loves it there.

Thanks Mermon! That is a very tasty link! I heard about Movember for the first time last year - and it's all for charity and yep that's what the M is for. I think Jake would do very well! But after a month the tache can be extremely long...

I hope everyone had a good day today! Mr WDW and I went to a very autumnal Cotsold Wildlife Park where a tapir peed on the hubby. I tried very hard - and failed - not to laugh :D

Hope everyone in the UK has a safe Bonfire Night tonight! Sounds like a firework factory blowing up here!

Hi everyone, I hope you're enjoying a nice Sunday!
I thought I was in for a relaxing weekend but it turns out to be a stressful one due to my new phone... I truly feel like Alice in Wonderland, I'm such a smartphone/apps/touchscreen newbie... I think even breakfast or lunch with Jake would be relaxing now. ;-)

Anyway, WDW looks splendid on my phone! I tried to post a comment on the phone but I couldn't remember my password, silly me. So here it is via the old, comforable lappy. ;-) Let's see if it works out next time.

Gyllenhugs to all!

Let's see if this one works... If it shows up I've mastered something new...

@LadyEkster - good luck with your new phone! I know what you mean. I also get used to my own and when I change it, it takes time to learn everything.
I have a lazy, nice Sunday with my family. I feel like got some cold or something. I took an aspirin just in case.
Have a nice afternoon.

I've never heard of Movember before, I wonder if Jake even knows he is participating :D

I would love to hang out with him, he seems to know all the best places to eat on both coasts

Hi!
I'm catching up here. At last we got some rain in Madrid. And it was awful windy. We are not used to this. So I spent a lazy Sunday too with a "siesta" included. ;o)
I wouldn't mind having breakfast either in London or NY. I'd enjoy them, here they are very small cause we have a big lunch instead.
Funny the tapid incident. :o) WDW.
Jake looks good! I want a Gyllenhug too!

Hi everyone! Hope you're all having a good weekend :)

Lady Ekster, great to see the phone's working here! My HTC is so good for commenting on WDW and for working on MB. Very useful when I can't get near my laptop.

I hope you feel better, Mermon! :/

Hi Sweetpea! I'd never heard of it before last year but a few of my friends do it to raise money - obviously not too many female friends... I'm not sure if they do it in the US.

Hey Eureka! That sounds like a good Sunday to me! It's just so dark here now. Still mild but dark :(

Have a good evening everyone!

I keep seeing all of the interviews coming out noe with Kirsten Dunst. She's really grown into a beautiful woman. I like how her voice has changed a bit. I so wish she and Jake could have worked things out - they really are perfect for each other, at least from this perspective.

Hi Leslie! Personally speaking, I love Kirsten and can never get enough of her. A beautiful and fine actress. Melancholia is my film of the year :)
