Jake Gyllenhaal back in LA - with Face Pet and new Knitwear
Jake Gyllenhaal is back in LA, having left the coffee bars and shops of NYC for the coffee bars and shops of Beverly Hills. On Friday, Jake was seen out with a friend and had a lovely smile on his face, no doubt the paps were expressing their pleasure at seeing him after such a long time. This also gives us the opportunity to check the condition of two Jake essentials: the state of the Face Pet and the new Knitwear, both of which look to be doing well. Good to see you, Jake! Looking good.

So we have paps photos again. That means Jake came back home! He must have feel that too, judging by his grin. Oh, maybe you're right Kate. Maybe they were shouting welcoming things to him.:)
He looks very nice in sweater and a beard is much bigger than we saw it last time.
So lovely to see the Gyllensmile again. How lucky he is to be walking around in just a tshirt and jumper in December. Missed so many posts so it will be great to catch up with them all. Love your little interludes and adventures interspersed throughout. Still looking for my 2012 Jake calendar.

I wonder if he'll go back to NYC to celebrate Christmas with his family. And who knows, maybe he's back in LA for business? Let's hope so... If so, it'll probably include a much needed (imo) shave. *grin*

@LadyEkster - that was my first thought about him coming back to LA for Christmas. But after second thought,I don't think his New York family celebrates Christmas! So maybe he will stay with Stephen, his dad.

Hi Mermon! I think Maggie and Peter do celebrate Christmas so maybe he'll be back there for the holidays. Or maybe they'll all prefer some LA sun :)

I saw TT2D: Closer to the Edge this evening (TT3D at the cinema), the adrenaline-packed film about the Isle of Man motorbike races. My review at MB
While I still favour the WonderCon-PoP-Promotion look on Jake, I have to say he's doing a great job at keeping the face pet within limits this time.
It was really fun to read about Jake on Twitter, but I missed that smile of his too.
Let's hope he'll be doing some work soon, not only for the sake of his face, but also for us.

Hannukah starts Dec. 20th. It's a very festive Jewish holiday, so I think Jake will likely be with his family where ever they spend it.
Looks like he's headed back out of L.A. Since he was at the airport yesterday. Probably going back to NYC. I'm thinking he came home for business - maybe to start selling his home? I just hope Atticus is okay.

Hi Leslie :) It could well have been a business trip back in LA but I can't think of anything to suggest that's selling a house. He frequently stays in NYC and flits back to LA when he's not working. Jake did the same last year. It's a big advantage of being a moviestar :D
