While the attention of the Berlinale media flutters towards Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, Jake Gyllenhaal continues his jury duty, sitting through umpteen movies a day whilst also sampling the culinary delights of the city. While Jake has not been spotted much outside the cinemas and galas of the festival, one has to think that Jake is doing all he can to experience the wonderful flavours of Berlin. We have reports that Jake has attended a reception at the American Embassy. He was also invited along with the rest of the jury to a weekend reception with the German president Christian Wulff.
I cannot help but be intrigued by the chairs. They look as if they bounce. Surely they don't really bounce?

Let us hope that the Berlinale allows Jake out of the dark theatres soon so that we can see how he's getting on. Meanwhile, let's pucker up and wish Jake a very happy Valentine's!

How many movies do the jury see in a day at a film festival? Given the opportunity, I could probably sit in a theater all day enjoying a bunch of movies back to back, but I doubt I could do it for several days in a row.

I love that interview, always makes me laugh. How come Sasha, you didn't see it? It means is worth to come back to old stuff. Though it wasn't Jake's best look, but he was extremely nice, charming and funny. Interviewer was hilarious. The way she wanted Jake to say something about Reese...! That first pic - I thought Jake was on a first plan, but he's at the back. On a film from A. Embassy, we may see Jake for a while.
I was happy with Sasha to see Jake's presenting the Honorary Golden Bear to Meryl Streep. It was fantastic! Jake read a long speech and then she started by talking about him and they hugged for a while. Can't wait to see it again!
President Wulff is going to have to resign because of corruption scandals has several in the German Government. Nobody can sucess in courting him. One of the biggest scandals is reason to give money with money from Germans who pay tax in Germany for a filmmaker!
