Jake Gyllenhaal bares his arms in Manhattan and the WDW Floridian Interlude continues

On Wednesday 14 March, Jake Gyllenhaal was seen out and about in Manhattan, NYC, taking advantage of the warm spring weather (I'm aware of these things as I've been watching the Weather Channel an awful lot during my US visit) to show his arms for possibly the first time this year. The warm weather is also, no doubt, contributing to the flourishing state of the Face Pet, which is clearly alive and well as we head into the new season. Source: Just Jared.

WDW Floridian Interlude continues

I'm delighted to say that I've been enjoying some hot and sunny Spring weather myself here in Florida. Here are a few more pictures from the last couple of days at the Magic Kingdom and Sea World.

Unfortunately, walruses are too large for my camera...

Hello everyone! I'm sorry I've not been able to answer all your comments - though I am enjoying and appreciating them all to read - my internet access is extremely sporadic!

I hope you all had a good day :)

Don't worry Kate, enjoy your holiday:)

No need to apologize. I'm amazed you post at all since it's your vaccation.

Looking forward to the white shirts on Jake. His arms are too nice to be hidden.

Enjoy the last couple of days and I hope Oxford is spring-ly too when you come back. It's sunny and nice in Germany.

Lookin' Good! :-) Oh yes, definitely looking good in these new photos!

Nice pictures from FLA and I'm glad you are getting beautiful weather Kate. New England is similar to what Jake is getting...a slow warming after a few cool days but may hit 80 degrees next week...WTF?! (But I'll happily take it).

Have a great weekend all...a busy one for me but I'll be sure to check here for updates when I can. Where is that news about a spring project for Jake we're all waiting for? Hee hee. *practicing patience*

Cheers! :-)

Lovely interlude again! Just the sight of that clear blue sky lights up the day here... I'm more than ready for summer.

I'm starting to believe The Face Pet and The Trousers have been married secretly. They always appear together... Thank God The Trousers haven't tucked themselves in this time. :-P

Kate, you have a fantastic adventure, judging by pics. Like those kissing orcas a lot!
Jake with his backpack, green pants on the streets again. He was seen in the subway too.

On Wednesday 14 March, as Jake Gyllenhaal was seen out and about in Manhattan, NYC, my daughter and her best friend were also out and about in Manhattan, NYC. Alas, they did not spot Mr. Gyllenhaal. I'm not sure if this is because they weren't looking for him as I had requested or if they didn't know to look for the Face Pet in combination with the green trousers. Next time I must go with them. :)

How funny, I was in Sea World with my family on Wed. March 15th. Gorgeous weather and surprisingly not crowded for spring break week. Enjoy your stay!

Thanks for the link Daniela ;-)

Sorry, looks like I accidentally deleted my previous comments. D'Oh?! Good thing I still had my textedit version open, just in case Blogger f's up. Reposted in slightly updated version.

Here's another link regarding Jake's rumored new project, "The Enemy". Includes synopsis of the novel it's based on, "The Double" by Jose Saramago.

Sounds very interesting. I'd definitely watch that movie. Jake or no Jake. ;-)
Let's keep our fingers crossed he gets to do it!

I am so excited about this project! Really hope he gets it, and they make it like a mysterious film noir. Not only is the subject matter (questions on identity, existentialism) so my cup of tea, but come on... a double dose of Jake in one movie?! Serious Oscar potential there. ;-)

Btw, has anyone seen the new TV series "Awake"?

Love it!
Sometimes I wish Jake would contemplate doing a TV series. There is so much great writing being done for the small screen nowadays. There also seems to be a more mutually respectful flow of renowned feature actors venturing into TV and TV actors venturing into feature films... And why the hell not!
