Jake Gyllenhaal's other side on set in Toronto and a WDW Interlude

Jake Gyllenhaal is back on set in Toronto but this time he's playing opposite himself. No more the suited teacher, we now have the dashing motorcyclist. As someone who has regularly carried a motorbike helmet onto a bus (usually to the driver's response of 'My driving's not that bad'), it was good to see Jake doing the same thing. There are times when the bike is just in the wrong place.

WDW Interlude

Last weekend we manage to make it away camping to the Welsh borders to enjoy the hottest weather of the year so far while experiencing  the most complicated tent building destructions we've seen. The result was Mr WDW got violent food poisoning and I hurt my ankle and I'm now hobbling. But never mind all that when you have such beautiful sites to clamber over as Caldicot Castle, Caerleon Roman baths, Tintern Abbey and Goodrich Castle. Spot a cloud if you can!

Can I put my feet up now?

I honestly don't know what's more beautiful in today's post: your stunning holiday pics or Jake in that leather jacket and with that hairdo... Phew. I need a fan here! What a pretty post. Thanks WDW! :)

What a difference a little leather makes. (I was thinking the exact same thing about the bike helmet on the bus. lol)
You have the most beautiful holiday photos. Would love to travel to see some of these places one day.

Interlude pics are beautiful. Your country is full of great places, Kate. Have you seen them all before?
Jake as his second character Anthony is a very hot guy! I like his sexy look very much.

I hope both you and Mr. WDW have recovered from your camping trip! It looks like a nice weekend overall!

I enjoyed the long weekend away in the summer like weather of New England and even found time to check out the many wonderful pictures and sightings of Jake back at work. What a look for character #2 - hot!!

After I saw some of the pictures from the set on Sunday where Jake was obviously pissed off because of photographers (and seemed to be explaining his frustration to the director) I wasn't surprised to later see comments popping up on line mentioning him being very angry at the paps while filming. I can't say that I blame him - it must be hard to concentrate with these (often rude) photographers in his face. The good news is it seems whenever it is fans commenting on their experience watching him film and taking pictures he seems fine with it. Maybe they'll be wrapping up their outside shots soon and will be moving into the sound stage where he can avoid the paps.

Never a dull moment - I'm looking forward to more fan reports from the set!

BTW - I turned on the news this morning and the first report I saw was about an Air Canada plane that dropped debris down on Toronto crashing into someone's car window. Yikes! Put that motorcycle helmet on Jake! :-)

In case you missed my comment on previous post:
"Thanks for the great updates - in case you or any other UK readers here dont know, the Born Survivor/Bear Grylls (Man V Wild) episode with Jake is on Discovery channel in the UK on 4th June at 9pm! I did watch it on the link you provided, but I have wanted to see it on the TV!"

Hi AussieGirl! I hope you make it over here. I long to visit Australia :)

Thanks 5:52!

Thanks Mermon - this was a trip to some well-loved familiar places :) They're at their best at this time of year.

It was lovely BBMISwear :-) And hopefully soon I'll be able to tie my shoe up! It sounds like filming was a little tense on Sunday. Maybe a busy or dull day. That's terrible about the plane!!

Hi Karen! I am loving this weather. And yes, the leather! Ooh - great to know - thanks for that. I on't have Sky unfortunately :(

Have a good evening everyone - if you live in the UK, Rendition is on Film4 at 9pm!
