As Prisoners opens in the US, it appears that its success has given its sibling movie Enemy such a push that its worldwide distribution grows ever likely. As a result, we finally have a a teaser trailer.
There is also a poster (here via IHJ). It does little for my spider issues....
It is quite possible that Jake is on a plane to the UK as we speak. He's appearing at the Apple Store in London tomorrow evening (very excited about that!) and will also be doing a live webchat with Empire Magazine at 12.45 pm. Yesterday, Jake graced the cover of the Guardian Guide (I managed to pick up a copy in a country pub restaurant). You can see my scans below and also read the interview here. There is another interview in the Washington Post.
Thanks so much to Stephanie for new videos of Jake's TV appearances!
The Queen Latifah Show
The Katie Show
So an exciting day tomorrow! I can't wait to see Jake and to tell you all about it! Wish me luck :)

Thanks, Christina! That's so kind :)
Tomorrow evening with Jake... now, that's something you can't say every day ;-)
That Enemy trailer sure looks promising ;-)
P.S. Have you ever met Jake, Kate? I mean, a meet & greet type thing? I think it's sooooo cool for you! I'll be there in spirit!
Thanks, Sonja! I've exchanged a few words with Jake over the years, and a few warm handshakes - luckily attended press conferences and things - and it's always good! I think this'll be the 9th time I've seen Jake. Very pleased about that.
Have a good time tomorrow. Just Saw Prisoners, a great movie. Emotional, realistic and a thriller.
Congrats Kate! So excited for you for tomorrow at the Apple Store event! Always a special time seeing Jake in person - can't wait to hear all about it!!
And thank you for all these links, videos, etc - I can't comment on anything as I've hardly really looked at anything yet. :-( I have all the TV shows on my DVR just waiting for me too - I'm looking forward to some down days to do so. Thanks for continuing to post and update here - I'll be catching up soon!!
Have fun tomorrow!!!!! :-) :-) :-)

I am SO HAPPY for you! Front row seat, chatting with your old friend Jake Gyllenhaal about how the blog is going! Hope you got some great photos!
Thanks, BBMISwear! It was wonderful!
Yeay, Susan! It was bloody marvellous. I got so many good photos and will put up a bunch tomorrow. WOW!
Can't wait for detailed story from meeting Jake, Hugh and Denis and for the pictures you took, Kate. Good to have Jake in Europe.
From the pics shown on IHJ it was a very joyful evening! So good you had a chance for number 9 encounter and handshake!
So so happy for you Kate. Can't wait to hear all and see the pictures tomorrow. X
I saw "Prisoners" last night. It was so absorbing that I barely noticed the time go by. I recognized Jake and Viola Davis, but not the other actors [I forgot to look up the cast before leaving for the theater]. I was amazed to find out later that Dover was played by Hugh Jackman, who is surely one of the great actors of our time. Sooner or later, Jackman is going to find himself with an Oscar.
Inspector Loki [Low-Key?] sees and hears everything, and is constantly processing what he sees and hears. It's a wonder his head doesn't explode -- as it almost does when he attacks a suspect in police headquarters. It's obvious that things are getting to him. It's a wonder he manages to stay as much in control as he does. In the movie's last scene, his extraordinary acuteness of perception picks up on a clue too faint for anyone else to notice [that, plus everyone else has gone home]. It is this last scene that we realize how richly Loki deserves the reputation for solving every case he finds himself in. Ah, if only real life were like that!
