Jake Gyllenhaal out for dinner with friends and family 16 June 2007

A real treat today from iheartjake - new photographs taken yesterday of Jake looking at his absolute best (in my biased opinion) as he goes out for dinner with mother Naomi Foner and a couple of friends, including the familiar face of a friend and colleague who was there to support Jake at Cannes and, earlier in the year, at the BAFTAs in London.

Their destination last night was the Bombay Talkie in Chelsea, New York City. After dinner, according to the agency, 'they all walked to a nearby movie theater. Shortly after they approached the ticket window and had a short discussion, they decided not to go see a movie. Instead they took a long walk around the neighborhood. Jake and his female 'friend' were walking together most of the time, ahead of his parents.' As we all know though, the gentleman is NOT Jake's father Stephen!

Here are photographs of Jake and his friend from Cannes and London - I have always thought of her as the Bafta Girl and, for that, I should probably apologise!

This is a yummy treat - the restaurant I mean. ;) Thanks WDW! Jake looks great, everyone enjoying a night out, and having Indian food. To.Die.For. That's what I think about Indian food. Especially Naan bread! Thanks for the link to Bombay Talkie, I'll have to check out the link! :)

Hi Marina! That's one of the fanciest sites I've seen for any restaurant. Jake visits so many restaurants I'm becoming an expert!

I have an admission, though. I can't cope with most Indian food so if I went there with Jake I'd just have to drink beer and let Jake help himself (to my plate).

Check out the link, it's fun!

Hey WDW....the cardigan makes another appearance...told ya..LOL!! Jake likes the cardigan and I do too...But seriously..the boy could wear a paper bag and look so damn hot. As always, your site is the best...thanks for keeping us up to date on Jakey...Michele

Hey Michele

And I was so sure it would have been given back to its elderly-relative-owner... But at least this time it wasn't hiding those beautiful, tanned arms.

Jake is the only one who could make that cardigan hot, especially when it's just used as an eccessory, elegantly cast over the shoulder. ;D

I like the cardigan, too. Perhaps it's because I am fast approaching that "elderly" phase myself! To me Jake is making a statement of sorts by wearing it (consciously or not) -- his choices in all arenas are his alone and not the result of anyone else's influence. His SNL performance of And I Am Telling You states the same thing -- with humor. But, of course, I could be reading more into it all than there is. Wouldn't be the first time, and certainly not the last.

I agree, and don't you just love that about him? He's his own man. And I love the cardie too, I hear ya, sistah, about approaching a so-called "era", but who cares? It's all good. ;)

And Birdie, he does beautiful forearms, you are so right.

WDW, the Bombay Talkie site is fun and mouth-watering, and I had to check out the cocktails section, where they have one called "Unrequited Love" and "Truth is Beauty" *sigh*. :)

Hi Beckela and Marina

I definitely agree that Jake makes statements with his clothes, as I suppose we all do. And the cardigan crosses boundaries which is good (I'm a hoodie type though...). For me, Jake can do no better than wear the white t-shirt, jeans and Nike.

Ooh Marina - those cocktails sound delicious. I'll have to have a look. Unrequited Love, hmmm. I've had cocktails on the brain today as you'll see in my next post going up in a few minutes! :D

I like very much Jake in these pics..he is simple but stylish (in my opinion only the americans can achieve to be like this) and, most of all, I like his watch!
