I suppose if you're being escorted through an airport, you don't expect your escort to get you lost, which very much looks like what happened in new photos from Jake's walk through LAX on 18 June. Jake appears to have taken it in good humour, although with some bemusement, and I suppose being taken up and down every escalator in an airport is good exercise after sitting on a plane for five hours.

I don't think the lady was lost at all, she was just pretending to be, so she could spend a bit more time with Jake ;) Let's be honest, who wouldn't try any trick in the book to keep Jake by their side a bit longer? If it was me I probably would have offered to take him home myself, then "got lost" down a quiet country lane somewhere ;)
Good to see he took it all with good humour though, a lot of lesser celebs would have had a diva strop.Good to see Jake isn't like that :)

That lucky lady - maybe being with Jake meant she lost her sense of direction completely as well as her memory so that she had no idea where she was and needed Jake to guide her!
I don't know about you, but I love the pictures of Jake on the escalator and the fact that he stood on the same step as the lady. Jake's so comfortable being in someone else's space as are they with him. I can't believe I find this interesting and that I can read something into where Jake stands on a step but I do and I can! :D

OMG...WDW..the fact that Jake is riding on the same escalator step is one of the first things that jumped out at me when I saw the first pics the other day. I actually thought it was a bit strange...I was kind of incredulous as to why he would do that. The only people I ever see riding on the same escalator steps are ones with small children. I do agree with you though...it is nice that he would feel comfortable enough to do that. As always..thanks for posting pics of the beautiful boy..Michele

Yes that's a good point about the lady, she's doing well just being able to breath being that close to Jake!
And I only had time to have a quick look at the pics earlier, so I didn't really notice he was on the same step as the lady, but I see what you mean, it makes him seem down to earth and not at all up himself like a lot of so called celebrities who don't have an ounce of his talent or charisma:)
I have to say though, as someone who's accustomed to riding on escalators with young children, he shouldn't really be standing there cos he's blocking the way for people walking down the escalator and putting himself and others in danger! Jake, if you're reading this and want some tips on escalator safety, just call me anytime night or day!;)

That's amazing that you saw the escalator first too - it sounds so silly but I just love seeing Jake do things we all do. And I never ride on the same step as anyone else - but it shows to me that although this lady was escorting Jake, it was Jake being the gentleman and escorting her. I know I'm reading a lot into it but why not?! :D

I love Jake's body language and grin in the 3rd photo..... it's like he's saying, "Hooray! After an hour of aimlessly wandering through LAX, we have actually found where we need to be!"
As others have pointed out, he appears to be a genuinely good natured man, even in situations that would tempt other "celebrities" to act like spoiled brats. And that quality is a very large part of his appeal to me.

marina, you hit the nail on the head..... he IS a good sport (an increasingly rare quality among the famous it seems).
maybe I'm reading waaay too much into these photos, but it strikes me that besides being a good sport, Jake is probably sensitive to the possibility that this poor lady might be a little stressed out over the unfortunate "lost in LAX with a famous actor" scenario she has found herself in. His demeanor tells me that he is trying to reassure her that everything is ok, it's not the end of the world. I mean, her bosses would most likely NOT be happy that she screwed this assignment up. I think Jake is innately kind to and considerate of other people in this kind of all too human mishap.
Or, I could be totally out in left field. : )
Birdie, something tells me you are right about that, I get the impression that he's a very kind and considerate person, except maybe with the paps, and even with them he's shown extreme patience I think. ;)
Love the pics, but I must be missing something here. Why does Jake need an escort through LAX? Seems to me he's been there a kagillion times and knows his way around. If the escort is for protection, I'm not convinced that woman would be much help there. But it is nice to see him interacting with "ordinary" folks!

Can you imagine how embarrassed that lady would be - getting her famous charge lost in full view of the world. Especially as Jake would probably know exactly where to go if he were on his own!
Hi Beckela - I think the lady is all part of the luxury first-class package where I'm sure Jake is supposed to be delivered from the plane to the car. But ridiculous as it's such an easy airport. I'm sure in the end Jake had to escort her
