Also at IHJ Stephanie posted the remaining pictures from the remarkable Guardian interview photo shoot which took place when Jake Gyllenhaal was in London for the BAFTA awards back in February this year. You know my son and I have gone every Jake movie except Highway...my boy loves him...
and I still can't figure out when -- maybe between Moonlight Mile and Proof--he got his smokin' hot good looks...Whew!
Rendition Jake makes me breathless...I can't wait. I'll try to catch the entertainment shows tonight. I really wish I could download it for you.

WDW, you've excelled yourself again, these photos are fantastic and just what I needed as a pick-me-up before I go back to work tomorrow after a week off sick!
Each new taster from "Rendition" whets my appetite even more for what we know is going to be another barn-storming performance from Jake.
The Guardian sequence is lovely but pictures one and four in particular really floor me, something ethereally beautiful about him in those.
I haven't had time to get here as much as I'd like,so I'm gradually printing off the whole blog so far. Then I can catch up whenever I can grab a minute on all the posts/pictures I've missed. Heavy on the coloured cartridges and I'll have to do something to offset the profligate use of paper, but it's well worth it!
NOTE to SELF - make time to visit/post on WDW much more often!

The first of the Guardian pictures is one of the most incredible pictures I've seen of Jake - like all the best pictures, it's not just Jake's features but also his expression and the look behind his eyes. It's an unbelievable shot.

I know exctly how you feel Twisted Logic - after a hard day at work you get back and you see this. I love how Rendition and Guardian Jake is also Bafta Jake - all around the same time and all with that hair and look. As far as Rendition!Jake goes, I'm just gonna have to quote one of my most favorite slash authors.
I am just "burnt to the ground" ...! My, my, my. Stephanie is brilliant! Not just bcz of always being there with the Jake pics, but she is a very sweet, thoughtful person. Not just thoughtful as in considerate, but thoughtful as in a deliberate, thinking person....OK. I'm babbling.
But I really do admire Stephanie.
I think we might just have to go through Oscar "angst" again this year. (BAFTA, too!) Now would someone have a 'talk' with The Precious and ask him to please start a new project..pretty please???
Hey WDW! Well, I wanted to come here right away. I don't know if I'm the first to post but, I just finished seeing the trailer for Rendition on ET....it's awesome I must say. Unfortunately, just a few quick scenes of Jake. Wow, the scene when the husband is being kept in a dark room and interrogated, and Jake is questioning him and grabs him by the neck and asks him about making certain calls if my memory serves me. Scary Jake!
Here's hoping someone puts the Rendition trailer up on youtube for you and all the great WDW members to see. If I happen to come upon the trailer somewhere in cyberspace before someone else, you will be the first one I send it to WDW!

Wow, just wow. I just saw the trailer for Rendition, and it looks sooooo good. Reese, Peter and Jake are fabulous in it from what I saw. These Guardian pics of Jake are truly magnificent, but I have never seen him look as good as he does in Rendition - mature and strong with a bit of an edge. Can't wait to see it. :)

OK...I need to sit down and "gather" myself...I just saw the scenes from RENDITION on ET. I think this movie is going to kick ass...seriously...and I think Jake looked ...there are no words...OK. He looked HOT. But most impotant, I think he is playing a role totally different from anything we've ever seen, and it wouldn't surprise me at all if he gets a nomination...I mean he looked tough and hard and really intense.
I think he will surpirse a lot of people. I'll probably want to see this movie a few zillion times...
I just came home from a day of hell at work and my only thoughts were of seeing the trailer tonight. I still have a little over two hours to go in California. But then I came to WDW and had only three words to say when I saw these delicious pictures.... OH DEAR GOD!!!!! All of the pictures are beyond amazing but numbers one and two totally kicked me in the gut. There is no point in me trying to contemplate why he is so beautiful. He just IS!!!

Both Jake and the film itself look amazing!! Jake's voice when he tells the guy to explain the phone calls turns me to mush! It's just like how I dreamt he spoke to me when I dreamt about him taking my printer cartridge! I actually did buy two new printer cartridges today- but sadly Jake wasn't there to take them off me ;) But this trailer and the pics is helping make up for my disappointment!!:D

Thanks for the info on IHJ. I just went there to see the E.T. segment so I wouldn't have to wait another hour and a half for the show. Now the OFFICIAL trailer is up without the talkover from E.T. Looks so exciting and what a thrill to see "Academy Award Nominee" before Jake's name!

just got home from a lovely dinner with old friends.... catching up with each other's lives. I was planning on going straight to bed, but thought I would pop in here for a quick peek. Needless to say, that was a very good decision.
Those Guardian photos are absolutely incredible...... he has never looked better. They capture beautifully the MAN Jake is becoming. And does this guy ever take a bad picture? (that's a purely rhetorical question!) My favorite is the one where his eyes are closed...... my God, his neck...... looks awfully yummy.
