Jake arrives at press conference
Yes that's Jake Gyllenhaal - you can always recognise one of my Jake pictures - I'm wobbly and he's blurry. But this is Jake arriving at the press conference a few minutes ago. Reese was in the same SUV. More to follow later....

I can't begin to tell you how excited I am - and how frustrated to have missed him by just a few days.
So glad to hear that all eyes are on him. And who cares for brokie jokes? They reflect only on those who make them. He is well above that, he knows his worth and that of BBM. I really hope Rendition is a great success too.
Impossible to think of anything else these days, my heart and mind are in Canada half in Alberta, half in Toronto. Just can't wait for your next update. Does the gala ticket give access to any of the events? Will you see the film? Just a few hours to go now, you must be standing in some strategic spot by the red carpet by now, heart pounding. Aaaaw!!

He looks great to me! I love that he's waving. I so agree with you Mouk, any jokes mean nothing - we all know the film that Brokeback is, how much it meant to so many, and to him. He is so far above that. :)

Jake is totally in charge when it comes to silly BBM hecklers. He's strong that way. He never ducked red carpet questions or media questions, nor did he shift focus, when was asked about his BBM experience; he answered all questions with respect for the film process. He never stopped talking about what making the movie meant to him and to his unique audience.
And for that I hold him in highest regard.
^^I'm so glad about that, Sass, I have no doubt that he's got it all under control and keeps things in perspective.

Who wouldn't get the shakes in such close proximity to Jake?! I would be a dithering wreck,WDW, so I'm really impressed you managed to take a photo at all,however blurry.

WDW, my admiration for you continues to soar higher than one of Homer Hickam's rockets. You go to Toronto for us, risk live and limb to keep us up to date with all Jake's coming and goings and you manage to breathe AND operate a camera in the presence of Jake. I can't tell you how much I appreciate everything you're doing here today, it's the next best thing to being there. Thank you xx

^^Oh Lord help me - Who else could I possibly have chosen? There's no question who it would be - so I voted for JBG. He was in the top 3, last I looked. I can see it now - dinner at a fantastic restaurant, talking about everything . . . *sigh*
two lovely TFF "portraits" on Iheartjake, but taken in hotel bedroom which is a bit more than my poor heart can take. bed can be cropped out. lovely pictures. as many have said: never seen him look so good.

I agree, Pia, these are truly beautiful portraits, some of the best I've seen of him - and that's saying something! The second one is magnificent, very soulful. Love the hair, it's really flattering to his face, and love the shirt. :)

I just saw the pic of Jake arriving, and I have to say the cut of that suit he is wearing is spectacular. The navy color, with the pale blue of the checked shirt against his face and skin, with a slight tan from being at the Vineyard, is beautiful. IHJ should have a number "6" for pics this spectacular. Ok, enuff a me, for one night. Hope things are going well, WDW, keep us posted! G'night!
Oh sweet water walking Jesus!!I've just seen those bedroom pics... Marina, "soulful" is right. His eyes...he's beyond beautiful. He looks so perfect it makes me want to cry.
Hope WDW is enjoying the evening. By my calculations the movie should have finished round about now. Can't wait to hear about it!
