Jake Gyllenhaal at Urth Cafe, just missing WDW

So who was at Urth cafe on Beverly Drive yesterday? Two guesses is enough - Jake Gyllenhaal AND WDW. The only problem was that, for the second time on this road trip, we just missed each other. And the other uncanny thing, Jake's doing crosswords at Urth while I did Sudoku. I wonder if he also had the poached eggs. Thanks Stephanie for the pics - I think! By the way, Jake, I'm at Disneyland today if you'd like to just miss me again... Seriously looking good there.

Thanks anon! Jake looks absolutely great. I'll let you know how I get on at Disneyland - but I can't do the rollercoasters :D

Aww, (((WDW))). Jake does look so good here. Have a great time at Disneyland! And I will continue to send vibes so you have your Jake encounter.

Space mountain, WDW!! space mountain!

Sorry that you missed Jake yesterday... we know, it's his loss :P

the double layered blue long sleeves looks familiar, I remember I've redone my hubby's wardrobe after Brokeback (you know, flannel shirts with pearl snaps, wranglers, sheepskin jacket..), I think Jake's wardrobe is easy to follow.. on less expensive labels perhaps. Although I almost did an impulse buy for the Y-3 grey hoodie he was always wearing in 2006...

have a great time in mickeymouse land.

Hope you are not losing your touch WDW. We rely on your tingling Jakey-sense! :D

I'm sure you will have better luck with Mickey M. today. Have fun!

I'm still drooling over the newly clean shaven Jake. Having become so used to him with all that face fuzz just makes me appreciate even more how gorgeous he is :)

Have fun at DisneyLand WDW! I'm SO gutted for you that you missed Jake yesterday but like Get Real, sending you all kinds of positive Jake vibes in the hope you'll see him at some point.

Thanks Get Real - tell Jake to get along to the Soarin ride will you!

That's so funny, Winterbird! Jake's probably looking for me :D (I wish). Jake does favour certain outfits - yes, easy to copy. I bought an expensive Art is Alive shirt from fred Segal this week. I might give Space Mountain a go as it's not as scarey as some of the others :D

Hey Ruby! I'm good with the place, just need to refine the time bit of the equation ;) I'll give your love to Mickey!

Morning TL! Jake looks so so gorgeous here. And he's still coping with shaving. I thought he'd be getting the scruff back by now :D Keep the vibes coming.

He looks best with a little stubble. But he is always well groomed, he takes good care of himself and his looks. That's how it's supposd to be.

Wet Dark and Wild said...

He does, Anon. I like him with a little bit of scruff myself - Cannes Jake :D But he looks really good here.

Anonymous said...

Oh I am with Winterbird...Spacemountain is made of awesome!

^^ Sorry, Space Mountain.

Hey WDW!I see we're posting at the same time again. If only you had the same synchronicity with Jake, eh? ;)
I have to say, I do love Jake with a little bit of scruff, a la Cannes. That's probably my favourite look for Jake but if it's a choice between clean shaven and full on beard, then clean shaven wins every time. I've really missed seeing that gorgeous face and I'm so glad it's back!

Hi Get Real! I wish you were here to go on it with me :D

I know, spooky twin! Now all we need is for Jake to be the spooky triplet ;)

I'm off now so I'll see you later :D

[Jake, if you're going to Disneyland today, which I'm sure you are, can you go there now please?]

Jake seems to be in excellent spirits in those pictures. But then, he likes crossword puzzles (which I love, too), so no wonder he's happy ;-).

WDW, when you finally *do* meet up with Jake, I have confidence that it will be well worth it. :-)

Have fun at Disneyland!! Wish I could join ya .. =P

Sorry I had to be the one to bring you the pics of Jake at the Urth Cafe yesterday, I know it sucks knowing you just missed him (again) but I'm definitely sending you positive Jake vibes in the hope that you'll see him sometime during your trip! *hugs*

Yes, come on Jake, you heard the lady! Get that sexy backside of yours over to Disney Land ASAP!!! And if you could wear a v-neck top or a shirt with the buttons undone, that would be just perfect. Thank you!
Seriously, have fun WDW! xx

Aww. I feel so bad. If I had just missed him I would cry. We all know that you are stronger then that though. :) Have fun at Disneyland. If you run into him maybe the two of you can ride the Tea Cups.

Too bad you couldn't have helped Jake with that crossword puzzle. I do hope you get to run into him while you are there. Enjoy Disneyland. I haven't been in like 30 years (and that was Disney world in Orlando FL) I can't do rollercoasters either so we'd have fun on other stuff. There is tons to do at Disney.

Jake looks very good and having to put up with that beard it is refreshing to see that beautiful face again.

he does look in good spirits. I know he is going to be working on another movie at the end of March, I hope he has fun doing it.

Take care

Here's a small video of the lunch in Urth Cafè for those who, like me, have no problems with such videos...

OMG! There you are at Disneyland and here I am reading about the teacups rattling from an earthquake in England today, of all things!!! I think it's a sign, WDW! Jake should appreciate this as a sign too! The Urth trembled!

(Heh, heh! Sorry.)

Oops! Sorry. I forgot the link. It was near Manchester, I think. A 4.7 on the Richter Scale.

Hi everyone - thanks for all the fabulous comments!

I had a great time at Disney, thanks. I went on a ride or two, had a frozen cocktail or two and sat and basked in the most glorious hot sunshine - I think I've evened up my sunburn nicely. No sign of Jake as he was no doubt 10 minutes behind me the entire day.

Hi Paul :D Jake's never let me down.

Stephanie - I'm always grateful for all the pics you bring us - even if these particular ones made me want to demolish my hotel room. But I'm past that now - the bus on the way back from Disney went past that Urth and I had a bloody good look! But all was quiet. I've been to that cafe a lot of times over the last couple of years and I've never seen paps outside of it, gotta make you wonder how they get tipped off.

I wish you'd been at Disney with me too, Stephanie. I was thinking of you when I was on the Pirates ride :)

TL that's great clothing advice for Jake and he should heed it at all times. Thanks for the texts today *

Hi Bird Girl - I went insane for an hour or three but I calmed down once I'd drunk a gallon of wheat beer and thanked my lucky stars that I'm in California and not at work :D Wouldn't mind riding the Teacups with Jake...

Hi Trekfan! There's loads to do at Disney. I've been to WDW (rather appropriately) in Florida so many times and so I love it - especially Epcot. Disneyland is a lot of fun too. I hope Jake has fun making the new movie too, whichever one it may be.

Hey Pia :D More pics? How can my heart stand it - Hope you're having a good evening :)

Hi Anon! Thanks for the comment - Soarin is the best ride I've ever been on. Just love it more than I can say. Your brother deserves a medal! Thanks for the good wishes. The weather's beautiful, Jake's looking good, all is well :D

Hi Rosie!

Thanks for the link, Xenia! Oh my, a video of Jake just missing me as well. I'll check that out when I think I can watch it without pulling my hair out!

Thanks Michele! I've never been on the Matterhorn as each time I've been it's ben shut and today was no different! In fact, a lot of rides were shut today, which meant I never got on the new Captain Nemo submarine ride as the line was too long. Went on Soarin twice and really enjoyed the Indiana Jones ride.

Very funny, Bobbyanna! Seriously, an earthquake near Manchester? I've experienced a couple of those up there myself (my parents live in that neck of the woods). One night my bookcase fell down, very odd feeling as you don't expect that kind of think in England. I don't particularly want to experience one here either... ;)

When you magnify the photo of Jake with the Crossword puzzle and rotate it 270 degrees, you will find that it seems that he has solved it alltogether.

Unfortunately (?) the dissolution of the picture does not allow you to read what he has written. From the form of the letters written by him you might conclude that he has got a very distinctive handwriting.

Crossword solving, one might say, is aerobics for the brain and is said to keep your mind clear and young.

WDW has been to WDW? :-)
Was Walt Disney wet, dark and wild too? ;-)

Hey Paul - WDW was wet and wild but gorgeously bright!
