Jake Gyllenhaal in Action - Nicole's videos of Jake from Nailed

A huge amount of thanks are due to Nicole who has spent a long time uploading three videos from her encounter with Jake Gyllenhaal on the set of Nailed yesterday. Thank you so much, Nicole, for sharing these and putting a smile on my face that may never scrub off. The videos won't let me imbed them here - Flash issues no doubt - so here are direct links instead. Good job, Nicole!

Here's the first video with a fine example of the Gyllenwalk.

Here's video 2. This shows a fine looking Jake in a fine looking trailer. Wouldn't mind one of those, especially if they come with Jake.

And here's the third video, which features Jake and Brolly Lady.

It can never be said enough - Thanks for sharing your adventure with us, Nicole, and for giving the note to Jake with our messages. You've made the distance between here and South Carolina seem a lot smaller.

Videos and pictures are Nicole's.

Hi everybody! Thanks so much to Nicole for these videos!! Just amazing and makes me feel like we're all a part of it with her.

I'm off to my sister's wedding tis evening (congratulations, sis!) but I will be watching and commenting (just not when she's looking...;D) I'm definitely in the mood for champagne!

Thank you Nicole and I am so impressed by how steady you held the camera!

What a great day all around. Big thanks to Nicole although I can see her hands were shaking just a bit as he was walking away - anyone would :DD Great to see there's no trace of a limp, just his normal gait. Five seconds of bliss..... ahhhhhh. Love you Jake.

Have a blessed and wonderful time at your sister's wedding.

Short but very sweet,Nicole, you lucky girl! It always surprises me that a man as athletic as Jake walks in that really cute,permanently-footsore way. There's something a bit sort of shy and vulnerable about the way he walks which makes me want to give him a cuddle (form an orderly queue behind me,ok?).

Congrats to your sis as she gets spliced WDW, have a great time and we'll be on the lookout for your typing getting slurred ;-)

The weekend starts here, chaps!Have a good one :-)

Hey, great videos! Thank you so much, Nicole (and WDW)!
And yay for everybody loving the funny Gyllenwalk! It is so endearing! I loved your description of his walk, Nadine!

Have fun at your sister's wedding, WDW!

you are welcome! i'm trying to figure out if someone (jake) is going to be filming in the state house tonight or if he will be on two notch road..im actually going to be in the area for a while tonight but if he's on two notch road then thats a little far for me! i will keep a look out though..if i see him i will ask him if he read my note..if he remembers me!

OMG! I am so happy for you Nicole. I knew you would "run" into him eventually. You did us all proud.
xx

So did ya'll hear about our earthquake? It was exciting.

Anonymous said...

Birdgirl! Guess everybody's okay -5.2. earthquake's not nothing.

Nicole your videos are great. Did my squeeing last night I have no more squeee left today. So being in a more distanced mode: it seems to me he's favoring his left leg getting out of trailer and in video-walk. did you notice such? and o my yes his hair does look dark - so lovely to think of Jake acknowledging and receiving a letter from you - when I think of him saying "thank you" I want to image every nuance of his voice.

Hope you have some more sightings!

WDW its sunny here and I hope also for your sis's wedding! Pop in and share some bubbly with us.

Happy weekend everybody!

Hey Birdgirl! Hope you're ok after the earthquake. I'm guessing it wasn't too serious if you say it was exciting:) Probably not half as exciting as meeting Jake, I bet- the earth would definitely move then:D

They're great Nicole, congratulations! I love the Gyllenwalk too ;) but may I say I have a thing for the second video, the way he touches his shirt - under which we all know lives a great chest :P - is so teasing to me :P He looks great! Thank you over and over again!

Hope everyone's having a great Friday. Earthquake? Where?

Anonymous said...

He's looking good! Love the aviators. I imagined the tie you described Nicole to be all yellow. If that tie is blue and yellow then he's wearing my old catholic school tie!!

Yeah we are all okay. It happened about 80 miles always from us on the Illinois/ Indiana border. It was felt as far away as Atlanta and the Dakota's. It has been a very strange day. On top of it I am sick. I have been sleeping most of the day.

I am happy to see Nicole has had better luck then me. Jake walking is always good.

Thanks for all of the well wishes.

Birdgirl sorry to hear about the earthquake. Glad you are okay. Hope you feel better. Have a lovely weekend all.

Sadly Birdgirl Jake gets a lot of those horrible comments too. :(

Anonymous said...

"not letting things get to out of hand - even Pia :DDD"

who, MOI? :D

Jake in striped tie is delish. whats he saying into his cell, pie charts, gimme pie charts - - gosh this film has great potential, especially in gym sequences.

Seriously, though, so much is dependent on a good script.

Epicenter of equake was southern illinois, birdgirl can tell more. it was felt far and wide, but monstly chimneys falling off roofs and cats and dogs and birds going nuts, as they do even BEFORE quakes, which is odd and interesting.

Thot Id have a Jake dream last night after the Nicole-inspired Jakequake that was felt all the way up here in the northeast and across the pond. But I only dreamed I wrestled a gun away from a cat, then the cat turned into a gun and the gun turned into a cellphone and I put it in a drawer for safekeeping.

Re the X17online link,I found the horrible remarks about Atticus to be most offensive. Put your paws over your ears boy, we think you're beautiful!

Hey GoodGirl! Good catch on the chest touching in the second video - Jake is a tease, isn't he? It's no secret that I have a particular weakness for Jake's sexy hairy chest so I hope we'll be seeing plenty of it in Nailed - are you listening Mr Russell?

As for the nasty comments, I don't like reading stuff like that about Jake but it's all part and parcel of being in the public eye. The words heat and kitchen spring to mind.I'm sure it's all water off a duck's back anyway :)

I've often wondered why I've kept my old school tie and now I know! So in honour of my favourite congressman I'll be wearing a white shirt, old school tie and blue jeans (must give the tie a wash first its been 20 years :DDD)

More Jake sightings please (feed me Semour, must feed the curiosity beast :DDD)

Nasty comments about anyone is really offensive and very childish IMO.

Anonymous said...

LOL at WDW: Jakequakes! That sounds right! ;D

I bet birdgirl wishes it would have been a Jakequake instead on an earthquake... Glad you are safe!

Nasty comments about anyone is really offensive and very childish IMO.

I usually never look at the comments when I go to pages like that, but did this time, because the comment by birdgirl made me curious... Well, critizising someone is one thing, but comments like those? I mean you can't even take people like that serious... Like you said: childish - although that is kind of offensive for children... *shakes head*

WDW - again: Have fun at the wedding today!!!

Wet Dark and Wild said...

thanks Uli! I'm no fan of rudeness myself. Wonder if Jake gets a day off today...

Someone famous was remarking recently that they stopped going to internet sites reading because there was too much hate and negativity on the internet.

I think because it's anonymous, there are people who act "normal" in RL, but get agressive and behave very immature and very bad on the internet. Personally, I think it is a few "regulars" who make the rounds. I don't take them seriously, but I need to believe it's the same group of people or I would really worry!:)

Can't wait for the next "report" from S.C.! WDW, I'm sure what ever you decide to wear, you will look lovely, trendy and chic!

Nicole said...

good morning everyone!! no jake sighting yesterday..its actually funny because it was about 10pm last night and I told my brother we should stop by the gym to see if Jake was there..we weren't even wearing gym clothes..so he went to check for me and he scoped out the whole place..but no jake. i didn't think he would be working out at 10 oclock on friday night anyway but ya never know! I hope you have fun at the wedding WDW!!

So he ...

1. Blew up at Maggie during Donnie Darko which prompted the two to quit talking even though she was doing the film as a favor to him.

2. Kept forgetting his lines during "Moonlight Mile" as said by Dustin Hoffman.

3. Suggested script changes to the point of annoying the writers on "The Day After Tomorrow."

4. Beat up a his co-star in Jarhead (Brian Geraghty) after an incident which was his own fault, put another co-star in a headlock (Lucas Black) which caused Lucas to have to beat him to get off of him and pissed off Peter Saarsgaard to the point where the two quit talking. Also with Brian Geraghty the only way for Jake to apologize to him was for Brian Mendez to write a scene in where this occurred.
Also Mendez flat out said he could be a pain in the ass.

5. Got into it with David Fincher, walking off of set, during "Zodiac." Delayed scenes during the shoot with his constant joking. He also had a habit of falling asleep before his takes. Afterwards he badmouthed Fincher to the point where Mark Ruffalo spoke up about it.

6. Got pissed off during promotion for Brokeback Mountain in Toronto when his hotel room was vacated for another guest. Sure, he can be pissed off about that but he was so distraught they wanted to move him that he canceled all of his interviews completely.

I don't care if the director of this film is a notorious prick - nothing Jake has done so far on this film surprises me.

So what does this kind of behavior get you? It gets you a film role co-starring with Jessica Biel, Tracy Morgan and Pee Wee Herman (Paul Rubens).Aha, he also pitched a hissy fit after Brokeback Mountain came out because Heath was getting a lion's share of the praise from critics. He didn't even attend the Golden GLobe Awards to support the movie and cast just because little Jake didn't get a nomination.

Why do you like him, again?

Ruby said...

WDW, good to hear you are having a good time. :D

I'm wondering why people spend time make long posts on fan sites for people they aren't fans of. :/ *shrugs* wtfe.

Birdgirl, I hope you're feeling better today and that the earth has stopped moving. :)

sheba said...

Thanks Ruby you said it all.

Anonymous.... why do we like him?.... All of the above. So what if he did those things - were you there? He's real, passionate, flawed and human.

Sorry guys. I know I should have just ignored them but.........

sheba said...

WDW, hope your having a great time with your family. I'm imagining you doing the mackarena or the routine to 'baby's got back'.

Anonymous said...

Annoucing in advance, Pia, here, 'cause identity format not working, again.

I havent the faintest idea where anon, above, is coming from, but since WDW is getting pleasantly pissed on champagne, I think I'll have my aft. tipple and not worry about it.

I am watching Kill Bill 1 because Jake took a class from Ulma Thurman's daddy - it's an amazing film, I guess I ought to watch Pulp Fiction again.

The day is beautiful, here in Western MA. Cannot BELIEVE what it must be like in more southern climes. Magnolias in bloom in southern Pennsylvania, etcetc.

Wonder if Jake is affected by springtime as I am. If so - I do worry about this kinda bizarre cast and director cast let loose among the magnolias. Go, guys, go! And Im glad to see that Jenn likes dogs, besides having a great bod.

Anonymous said...

p.a. aoeey I mean Jess not Jenn.

pia

Ruby said...

hehe, I'm laughing at the image of WDW shaking her thang to 'Baby Got Back' :D:D

I love spring too Pia, not that we're seeing much sign of it yet. It's so pretty around here when it gets going though: magnolia, blossom and beech trees. :)

Anonymous said...

Hey, Riby, what happens with beech trees? In eastern Long Island it is beach plum blssoms in mid May, white shad in the woods and then dogwood, all thru the woods and backyards. In western MA hilltowns the hills turn pastel pink, and pale green. Then, all of a suddem - summer knocks you out!

Jake in a striped tie is a knock out. love him with his shirt unbuttoned and loose - springtime, and Jake, do with me as you will!

Nicole, how about the college gym?

Pia

Wet Dark and Wild said...

hi my friends! Just got back after a wonderful day - ate way too much. Thanks for the good wishes to my sister, I passed them on :-)

Wow anon, you went to a lot of trouble there to say you don't like Jake. I would suggest that you save yourself the energy and avoid Jake fan sites. This place doesn't seem to be for you. The idea of going to so much trouble at the sites of people you don't like seems redundant to me.

I hope everyone has had a great Saturday and normal service will resume tomorrow :-)

Ruby said...

Pia, there are loads of beech trees in this part of England and they change beautifully with the seasons. People use them as hedging for their gardens too.

In the spring they come through bright lime green and in the autumn they turn all colours. The road I drive to work on has beech forests on either side for a stretch and it makes a beautiful tunnel in spring and autumn.

hey WDW! You didn't ride off on the pantomime horse then?

Anonymous said...

o I know im supposed to ignore the above bilious anon but he/she forgot to mention that Jake likes his own "toucher" - and got me to thinking. (I also fight to the death for my own toucher, hair stylist, blog mistress, woof woof woof, etca)

why do I love JBG - one, only one of the many reasons, is because he's not a bilious (sp?) deadhead, he's alive and kicking in a world of pussies.

OKAY WDW - back to regular programming. kiss kiss kiss. sorry. that (above post) was really annoying. I'll get out my Bach's remedy.

pia

Anonymous said...

Ruby, I'll google beech trees! O kmow the wood is wonderfully hard and used for fences, in New England! There's a road in east hampton that is a "tunnel" of dogwood in the spring.

pia

Wet Dark and Wild said...

hey Pia and Ruby :-) i did fear the pantomime horse was a figment of my drunken imagination but no he was a guest ... I love beech trees! lots round my home. i love JBG for every reason under the sun.

BirdGirl said...

Oh anon 19:56 you must be really bored today. I feel sorry for you.

I am feeling much better today. Thanks for asking Ruby.

It sounds like you had a great time Kate. So, did you shake it on the dance floor?

paulh said...

There must be hundreds (or even thousands) of actors in the film industry who have trouble remembering their lines or who ask for their lines to be rewritten. If the finished product is good, then an actor has a future in the industry. This probably explains why Jake continues to get film offers.

Jake's contacts with people outside the film industry seem to be very positive--there's the pap who said Jake was the nicest actor he had ever photographed. There are numerous blogs where you see Jake posing with people who have run into him (he stopped to pose for pictures, which was considerate at the very least).

sass said...

Hi WDW and everyone,

Kate, I am glad you had a wonderful time at your sister's wedding.

Nicole you're a peach. How exciting for you and for us:) TY:)

One of my favorite actors, Robert Blake of In Cold Blood, Electra Glide Blue and Baretta--I'm old--:) was dyslexic. All his lines were read to him in all his movies. He began his career when he was 11 years old and has had over 50-60++ movies and TV performances.
Most great actors, and I consider Jake a great actor, are apt to give strong opinions and make requests and or demands on set.
Klaus Kinski, Harrison Ford, Peter O'Toole and Richard Burton, all had on set situations when filming, that were less that marvelous, and yet they produced their finest work, often drunk, angry, and fighting with others on set, all documented, but not printed or talked about publicly. I don't expect movie sets to be run like a school classroom.

I just don't like Jake getting bad mouthed on the gossip blogs and have trained myself to try and not read comments and when it gets bad I have to take off from the boards and blogs.
Yet, what can you do with the Internet and all gossip bloggers?
Here's hoping Jake won't have to call the studio and report that director, as George Clooney did when he acted out on the set of Three Kings.

The mainstream press still admires Jake; remember how our Page 6 people here in NYC, were so upset when Jake was injured and in brace and on crutches. Most people have neither reason nor agenda to not like Jake, and I can prove it right now.

My son and his friends, ages 17-26 are very very happy that Jake may play Prince of Persia. " We never get a great actor to play a character in one of our video games, Mom." How 'bout them apples anon?
Their words exactly. NO is he Gay, no anti-Reese talk and no animosity at all towards him...in fact they like that he is versatile as an actor--they all love DD-- and that he looks almost like the Persian Prince.

My son also saw Heath in the third TDK trailer today here at Comicon. They said it was fantastic; an unbelievably masterful performance by Heath. The trailer will be shown with Iron Man when it premiers May 2, 2008.

Here's hoping you all have a wonderful Sunday.
hugs to everyone:)
