Yesterday evening, Jake Gyllenhaal and Reese Witherspoon went out for dinner with Prince of Persia producer Jerry Bruckheimer. Their venue was the fabulous Mayfair Scott's Restaurant, where guests can be shown to a waiting car by a doorman in a bowler. This art gallery-come-restaurant - the birthplace of James Bond's shaken not stirred martini - has as its a centrepiece a 3m-long crustacean display. Jake certainly made the dress code - 'No tie required.' More to the point, Jake's hood has slipped enough to show that the hair is growing longer by the minute and he is looking amazing.
Earlier yesterday, when Jake and Reese arrived back home in London, the hood was a necessity - it tipped it down all day. But today the sun is out and the temperature is rising. My hopes increase that, at some point, we will see Jake without the hood and all will be revealed...
Edited to add more pictures, this time from here and here:
....and more from here:

Good morning everyone :D Great way to start the day, more pics of Jake out in London. And today the weather should be warm and sunny so, Jake, take the hood off! I want to see...
Ah that strand of long hair peeking from the hoodie, that beautiful eyes, that protective attitude of his towards the lady by his side...*big sigh*
Thanks for the pics and the post, WDW...it's gonna be a long English summer for Jake and his hoodie, I'm afraid! :)
Morning Xenia - big sigh indeed - it's good to see Jake without the sunglasses and that long hair just sets off his eyelashes - I could write a poem today :D
So 2006 was the year of the Spandex and 2008 is the year of the Hoodie? No, no, no - it will come off, it will be too hot :D
Have a lovely day!
Hmm... What's with the dress code? She's wearing a nice satin coat and a dress, he has jeans and a shirt? I understand it's a very posh restaurant. Dress up, Jake;)
Morning Zodiac :D I do like Jake looking casual so I don't wanna complain, but this is the type of restaurant in which one would normally wear a jacket :)
Jake looks like something the cat dragged in. Honestly!
I like Reese's coat, though.
Morning Pia :D I like Reese's coat, too. I'd like Jake's more if he had the hood down.
I've added a few more pictures at the end. More keep popping up and some show more of Jake's face and hair.
I've just stumbled across another TV film set here! More later on that...
I think his hair is almost shoulder length now, judging from the little that peek we see, maybe he doesn't want to the public to see if before it's been, erm, taken care of by a profession. we know how obsessed he is with his hair! :P
I don't know about Scott's, but I've been to the Rivington Bar & Grill under the same group before and the dress code is smart casual, as long as men don't wear shorts and sandals, they'll let you in.
Thanks for the pics. Looks like our Jake is having a "discussion" with a couple of the paparrazzi!;)
Hi there Winterbird! That could well be true - it could be at that 'awkward' stage. It's growing quick - at this rate he won't need extensions :D That facial fuzz is coming on apace too :)
I think you can usually get away with smart jeans at these places.
Hi Anon - agreed ;)
Yeah, I noticed the fuzz on the chin and neck the very furst thing.
But looking your part physically is an important part of getting into character. What would a 4th century Arab prince wear to a restaurant anyway? Not jeans, of course, but maybe the nearest equivalent would cause people to stare too much. :-(
I wish Jake hadn't worn the hoodie but at least the flannel shirt is a really nice one compared to the flannel he regularly wears. If he had worn black pants and gone without the hoodie he would have looked much better.
Sorry but I just have to keep away from most other blogs/some of the British press. It's really ugly and depressing out there. :(
Reese looks nice though and I love seeing his face. :)
Xenia said: Ah that strand of long hair peeking from the hoodie, that beautiful eyes, that protective attitude of his towards the lady by his side...*big sigh*
My sentiments exactly! He does look a bit angry and protective in those last few -- ummm, love happy Jake and angry Jake!
What next Jake,a balaclava for God's sake?
From the look on their sulky mugs these were taken by opportunistic Paps and not tame, invited ones. Get a grip Gyllenhaal!
Sorry if that offends anyone but the precious attitude is rather getting on my tits!
Hi Paul :D - yep, there are certain early medieval costumes that should not be worn to a fancy restaurant - especially when worn with a scimitar...
Hi there Get Real! - I quite like Jake's shirt myself :D There really is some idiotic stuff out there, not worth reading, but, to be fair, I don't think the British media - blogs, tabloids or trashy mags - is much worse than in some other countries round the world. A lot of rubbish about, but I do like to look at the pictures and turn a blind eye to the nonsense written, or the stupid, stupid comments.
I do like to focus on Jake's face! And I think Reese looks nice too :D
Um, Nadine what is balaclava?
WDW, no the British press aren't any different than in any other country. It's just that they are being pretty vocal now that Jake and Reese are in London.
Hi Anon - posting at the same time :) Me too!
Hey Scarey Nadine :) I'm not up for a big discussion of the whys and where fors of being papped, but I think it's not out of order to cover up a bit when having so many paps pap you when you come out of a restaurant late at night, especially if maybe you're not liking how you look at the moment. Mind you, with me at that time of night, I'm usually staggering out of a with someone propping me up! Never a pretty sight... :D
balaclava... lol.. nadine :)
i don't know.. maybe Jake doesn't want to be seen half-way through the preparation and spoil the whatever the expectation? he could easily have gotten away with a woolie instead though... so who knows? maybe someone gave him mis-information about "hoodies in UK"... :P
And also you don't go to The Ivy and Scott's and NOT expected to be photographed... I think they were prepared whether the paps were invited or not.
WDW, I dont read (or care) what's written on the brit press either (although they are not particularly nastier than others), I mean... they wrote about LiLo, Jordan and those WAGs, surely, Jake must seem pretty boring to them.
Hi Get Real - a balaclava is a ski mask :D
I think this is the first time the paps have found them in London. Usually, you can get about in London and be avoided. I suppose it's easier for paps to get a tip off from a big fancy restaurant where celebrities regularly go or a club.
Hi winterbird :D Posting at the same time again! I agree that a place like that is just a place where if you're going to get papped you will. Like the Ivy in LA for instance. Blimey, what a place that is. Jake and Reese will seem pretty dull to them in comparison to Amy Winehouse. Who on earth is LiLo?!
Hi Get Real. A balaclava is a woolly pull-on hat which also obscures most of your face - as favoured by terrorists and bank-robbers ;-)
Sorry,WDW,maybe it's the mood I'm in today but, while it was National Kissing Day the other day, for me some days are "Jake needs a kick up the arse and a reality check" day. If you set out to be rich and famous, don't go to a swanky restaurant and then get arsy about getting papped.
Maybe Disney have demanded that he keeps the hair under wraps until official publicity for the film starts but all this skulking around in a hoody is just making him look a plank ;-)
I dunno Nadine, i agree with you that Jake will never have the same troubles I have for paying the bills but in this pics he could be just sayng the paps to move and let him get in his own car, what do you say? :)
That being said, even if I agree with WDW that maybe he is covering his hair for production duties, that hoodie must go.
Have a good day!
Hi Scary Nadine :D I suppose it's difficult to say because we don't know how many paps were outside - could've been a lot and we don't know what Jake said, if anything, so I don't see evidence that he was being arsy. Just that he was keeping his head down getting from a restaurant to a car. But there would be paps at such a restaurant, as we've said, and I'm sure Jake and Reese weren't surprised to see them.
I don't see skulking really as we've only had pap photos of Jake out and about in London twice (yesterday). Also yesterday was bloody wet! In the horse pics he did take his hat off, wish we'd had more pics of that moment. But I do get the feeling Jake's keeping the hair under wraps, whether that's his own choice or Disney's, who knows :)
oh yes... Amy Winehouse. If Jake wants to go under radar, he should just stand next to her... all attention will be shifted.
huh? LiLo is Lindsay Lohan.. or did I miss a letter or something? lol.
and I agree about London, most celebs can walk around without being bothered or papped.. I've seen members of Radiohead on the tube before and sat next to Hugh Grant in Notting Hill without batting an eye.
Hi Xenia :) I do agree with you. Come out of a restaurant, a ton of paps, keep your head down, get into the car. But definitely the hoodie has to go!
picture number four looks like a scene from Rendition.
OMG Winterbird - sometimes I think Amy Winehouse must be the only famous person in London!
Lilo was a little girl in a Disney movie about an extraterrestrial named Stich.
"Lilo and Stich." It was full of Elvis Presley songs.
I've heard of Amy Winehouse, who seems as stable as Mount Etna. ;-)
If Jake is training hard every day, he may just want to be very casual in his attire when he's on his own time. :-/
"His own time"? I do think his ass belongs to Disney, for the duration. Dining out with Jerry B at a posh restaurant - ? - guess who's picking up l'addition - ?
I hate to see J and R looking so uncomfortable, but hey, guys, you're effing movie stars! What IS your problem?
Well, it's not like they are giving the paps a hard time. I thought Jake looks tired and scruffy. But if he looked all happy and ecstatic, having dinner with Jerry B, then people would say he's smug, there's no pleasing everyone.
If Jake is doing a Disney movie, so yeah, why not have dinner with your producer boss?
*mind you, I am not even a big supporter of Jake doing PoP*
Hi Paul - I do feel very sorry for Amy to be sure.
Hey Pia - we're just going to have to agree to disagree on this one as I still just see someone leaving a restaurant.
Jake has been seen in fancy resturants in London before, and sometimes not looking at his best but he's not a clothes horse. I can also see why the producer of a movie would take the star out for a dinner and pick up the tab. So yes, just gonna have to disagree to disagree on this one! Jake and Reese are movie stars but they don't have to grin for cameras all the time.
I agree, Winterbird. And I am a fan of PoP but for shallow reasons :D
hey, WDW! eye of the beholder, for sure! :D :D
For sure, Pia :D :D
And I am a fan of PoP but for shallow reasons :D
And I want to watch it because... he's going to be topless in it! we should have a shallow contest :P
Errr - I think we're about equal on the shallow front here, Winterbird - topless and waving a sword around and climbing over walls while kissing frisky heroines, and wearing riding boots...
Oh ye all of little faith, I told you he was going to look fantastic with long hair, and facial hair, I love it, he's just perfect! :)
Hey Toldja! Don't know who you are, but I definitely concede that Jake looks great with the growing hair :D I never thought I would think that but I do. I wonder how it will look in the end. I really need a closer look :D
I know! Can't wait to see - it's all very exciting. And once it's all refined - he'll be great! :)
Oh, goodness!!! Maybe Jake's dressed bcz he came straight from work with his producer, and Reese met them. Maybe there were so many flashes from cameras it caused those expressions bcz it was night!
Don't see a "precious attitude" anywhere either there or here.
Blimey WDW - quiet day at work for you then? ;-) Your post is up very early, do we get another one?!
Nice to see Jake out and about in the smoke. I'm sure they know that if you go to an Caprice restaurant, you are bound to get papped. They need a local to show them where the nice, more private places are. :D
lol at Disney owning Jake's ass, Pia. Maybe he has one of those Mickey Mouse silhouettes stamped on it.
Hi Toldja - very exciting and I can't wait either :D I really want to see what they're going to do with Jake :)
Hey Ruby Rubes.... work was a non-starter today :( Fortunately, Jake distractions! I'm giving myself an evening off from posting :D
So many good restaurants about if Jake wants a guide :)
Oh that's funny about Mickey. Maybe Jake'll be given Mickey stuff free - like a tophat with ears, or those mickey mouse things to stick on the end of your car aerial...
(tune: my heart belongs to daddy)
When goin' out
and round about
I might play around with my frisbee
but if I do
Im tellin' you
my ass belongs to Disney
Sorry, I couldnt resist. its very hot and humid, here. And the idea of a MM tattoo is pretty funny. I think.
wow I missed a lot of great posts while I was gone..I just got back from my vacation in florida! Jake's hair really has been growing fast..i'm not a fan of guys with long hair but I will make an exception for Jake!
Hi Pia - wish it was hot and humid here - cool and showery instead :)
Hey Nicole! Hope you had a good holiday. Like you, I'm making an exception for Jake :D
Lol at Jerry Bruckheimer posing for the papz, Jake and Reese seem annoyed, although most of the time they aren't so camera shy.
Next time maybe they can pick a place far mor low key, if they really don't want to attract paparazzi again. That being said, Reese looks good as usual and Jake's eyes are nice too as usual. ;)
Thanks for the updates WDW.
Sandy
I was surfing thru the web and saw this. Reese and Jake captured in their tender moment.
http://www.laineygossip.com/Jake_Gyllenhaal_and_Reese_Witherspoon_cuddling_during_Jack_Johnson_concert_at_Hyde_Park.aspx
Just thought I would post here and share it all with you. And thank you WDW, I read your blog everyday.
Ava and Deacon are in London, too.Visiting Tate Modern Museum with mom.
http://www.celebritybabyscoop.com/
Hi Sandy :D I can think of some great restaurants, but this does look like a very special place to eat - and I'm intrigued by the 3m-long Crustacean display :)
Hi Eve! - Thanks for commenting and for the link. This is the picture we were discussing the other day that was taken backstage at the Jack Johnson gig in Hyde Park. I'm so glad you like the site and thanks for letting me know :D
Hi Anon! Thanks for the link. You're a mindreader, I was just looking at those pics on Just Jared. That is an extraordinary place to visit :D I hope they get to my favourite - the Natural History Museum.
Don't shoot me WDW but I have to agree with scary Nads, Pia sans pitie and winterbird - a bit of cool and graciousness goes a hell of a long way in this town.
What an extraordinary place to get papped, WDW :D :D
WDW, rinse ...
Best jump, WDW. Anouska has commanded you!
She's my mate, mate. It's called joking.
Hey Anouska :D Actually.... I think Winterbird was agreeing with me! Ahem.... :DDD But I don't mind, I love our disagreements :D Always being able to have a laugh share a bottle and debate a different point of view while respecting each other's opinion....
...Something YOU, troll, would know nothing about. If you have no manners, you are not welcome here.
Does anyone think that maybe Jake and Reese where invited out by Jerry Bruckheimer or it was business, or is that a too simple explanation, because everything Jake does seems to be some sort of conspiracy to some people.
By the way, all those Brits watching the archaeological drama on the BBC tonight - I can assure you that I dug for years and never found a piece of the True Cross, was never haunted by a Knights Templar spirit and never heard of a colleague having their head cut off by another digger wielding a medieval sword. Admittedly, I may have been digging in the wrong places...
Back on topic - Jake is hot (with long hair)
WDW, you'll be telling us next that you never had to crawl through a pit of snakes or beat off the Nazi's to get to the Holy Grail!
Scary Nadine made me giggle - thanks Nads :D
Nouskie!!! Hi,good to see ya and to be singing from the same hymn sheet! Mind you I'm fogged about one of your comments, there was I thinking that "Tate Modern" was Pap Central ;-)
Hi anon - a few of us have stated here, including myself, that we find it perfectly plausible that the producer would go out with his star, so this point has been made.
Hi scary sarcy Nadine - but I beg you to avoid the sarcy bit - I've got heartburn...
Hey Rubes! Never saw a snakepit either - but I did dig a pit in Israel that was adopted as home by a chameleon called Norman.
I need a gin :D
Hey Rubes, posting at the same time! Glad to be of service! :-D
Wondered if you'd be watching "Bonekickers" WDW. Did you ever run up against any gorgeous fruit-loop zealots wielding broadswords in your archaeological period?
Hey Nadine - I never came across a single broadsword but I did get hitched to an archaeologist so they're not all fruit-loops - or then again... :D
WDW why did you delete Anon 22:08's post, they made a very reasonable comment.
I watched Kinsey this week, great film, great nekkid Peter, really good commentary by the director -
Not to get personal, WDW, but this archeologist of yours - was he good in the sack? (Channeling dr. kinsey. . . )
I had a thing once upon a time for Jacques Costeau.
Explorers and truth tellers! Yay!
In your opinion, anon, but certainly not in mine - I will not tolerate rudeness to Jake, to Jake and Reese, to fellow posters, to me, or anyone else (Boris Johnson is a possible exception). Simple rule and it's the only one.
Hi Pia - I've still not seen Kinsey - I'm ashamed to admit it because I love Peter and I like Liam too. I must see it.
Ahh the archaeologist in question is Mr WDW so I'll stay schtum! I love explorers. And I miss my days travelling and searching round the world. But now a new world thanks to Jake and his wonderful movies :D
Well I don't think it's rude to tell the truth.
whooops, sorry M. WDW! (altho dr. kinsey probably would have pressed on.)
this is an important film, besides being excellently rendered. I cried, often, throughout.
oh my... it is busy here tonight. Jake should step out and dine in London more often. With or without hoodie.
Jake: "Fishworks" in Marylebone, London is a good seafood place too, I highly recommend it. oh and please let me know if you're going.
WDW, you need to watch Kinsey pronto.
One shouldn't miss Peter kissing Liam Neeson :P
Evening all! Ok, first things first, Jake looks absolutely super effing HOT in the restaurant pics. Jake with long hair is everything I dreamed it would be, just gorgeous *swoon* And I have to say, anyone who knows me knows I prefer to see Jake without the beard, but I'm loving the face fuzz here ;D
As for the whole pap pics debate...I've got to say, It seems strange to me to be surprised/upset/angry/annoyed/whatever about being papped outside a "celebrity hotspot" but not seem bothered about it when it happens during what I would consider private moments ie shopping, on holiday, strolling around Rome, etc. It seems a bit contradictory to me, but what do I know?
Maybe it's best to just stick to looking at Jake and ignore all the rest of it;)
PS: As WDW said it was ok, I just have to add: Boris Johnson is a complete and utter banker (typo intentional).
Winterbird, counting on you guys to find Jake, jump him, and tickle him until he lets you kiss him. . . go, women, and may the force be with you!
Perhaps they were annoyed because they were right up in their faces and there was so many of them, but I suppose they should expect that shouldn't they.
'Fish' at Borough Market, Jake! Right in the midst of the organic foodie market - you'll love it. :)
Hehehe - Pia, your Dr Kinsey is intriguing me :D I love a film that makes me cry in a good way.
Hey Winterbird - it's great to see everyone here :D I like it when Jake's in London town and I'll like it when he walks around with his locks flowing in the gentle breeze or - having seen the weather forecast - in the gales and floodig rains....
I have seen the kiss :D
Hey TL! I think Jake looks effing hot too!! He looks amazing, in some of the pics, the expression on his face, with the long flick of hair, the eyelashes and soulful mouth.... sigh, I could go on. A beautiful face.
As for your opinion on Boris Johnson - totally allowed and to be agreed with. I hope Jake does not run into London's mayor.... Did I tell you I saw Boris cycling past Buckingham palace once? He was lucky the taxis didn't run him over :D
Nobody has a monopoly on the truth, not even me ;-D
Hey ((TL))you may well be right.Hi Pia,hi Winterbird!
I had no idea Mr.WDW was an archaeologist too - never asked you where you dug him up from before,;-) (bet you've never heard that line before, huh?!)
Yes you really must see "Kinsey" WDW,great film, great cast and Peter and Liam excel as always. Great kiss!
Hey Pia - I would love to tickle Jake until he kissed me - I fear I would tickle him until he got me arrested :(
Hi anon - It's very possible the paps were right in their faces, not pleasant. Unfortunately, this is just the type of restaurant where this sort of thing can happenand they must have expected it. Reese in particular is very well known here. But hopefully they all had a really good meal :)
Hey Rubes - what's that Italian we love so much in Soho? And then there's the fish place... Pizza Express in Oxford is pretty good :D No paps round there :)
Hi Nadine - yep, a family of archaeologists but he's still digging and bearing the brunt of the rain and the mud. I must see Kinsey. When it was on TV my recorder was broken but I have a new one now :)
I can see I'm going to have to buy this film for WDW :)
Nite all, too much excitement in old London town. Think this thread will make the ton?
What about that place that wouldn't give us dessert? :D
afraid I cant enjoy his beauty when he looks furious and R looks as if she's like to hide under a rock. have no idea what's going on here but find the pictures very disturbing and on second thot, do feel sorry for them both.
Hey WDW! I know what you mean, if he looks this good in "normal" clothes, what's he gonna look like in all his Princely glory, with the billowing shirt and the hair flowing...Shall I book the ambulance or do you want to do it;)
And yes, I remember you telling me you missed a golden opportunity to trip Boris up;) It'll serve him right if he gets hit by a Chelsea tank next time. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't want him to come to any serious harm (I'm not THAT evil) but I would love to see him get knocked off his bike and land in a dirty great puddle :D
Have to agree with you all about Kinsey. It's worth it just for the kiss, but it is a really good film anyway.
Hey (((Nadine))) - I'll email you in a bit:)
Night Nousk, I think I'm away too.
WDW - there were definitely paps in Pizza Express last time we were there. ;-)
TL, I'm coming around to the idea of Jake with long hair now that I've seen that sweep under the hoodie. Looks interesting. I'm resisting the temptation to wander the streets of London with hair trimmers. :D
p.s. sorry to end on a down beat, but I do find these pictures terribly sad.
p.s. sorry to end on a down beat, but I do find these pictures terribly sad.
I'm going to have to hit the hay now too. Look forward to waking up to your e-mail,TL :-)
Sleep well all WDWers - don't have nightmares xxx
Oooh, won't say no, Nouskie :D This thread could make a ton as Pia is posting comments twice! I can't remember the name of the place that wouldn't give us dessert, but I do remember that they wouldn't give us dessert. I thought it mean. Jake would love one of our tours of Soho and I wouldn't get so drunk this time, honest :D G'night xx
Hey Pia :) I still just see two people trying to get from a car and into a car, nothing more than that, but I know that, as we said, we all see things differently.
TL - when we see PoP at the pictures we are going to need cardiac surgery!! Call the theatre to have the defib handy. I thought Rendition Jake was difficult enough to cope with, but Prince Jake, all shirtless and sweaty, is.... I have no words (well I do, but they're not making any sense :D).
Night Rubes xx - That's true about Pizza Express! Last time I was in there my pic ended up on the internet :D I don't think I looked happy or sad, just sozzled. I'm astounded to ear that Jake's long locks are growing on you in a manner of speaking, you, the lass who chased Bafta Jake around the red carpet (kind of) with a pair of nail scissors...
Night Nadine xx Blimey, I have had fun here this evening - does noone want to get another round in?
I guess I am with you WDW. Much ado about nothing regarding these pics because I wasn't there...
I just want to see Jake without the hoodie to that face and the hair! ;p
Hey Get Real! We are completely of the same minds. Agree with everything you say there and yes I want to see the hair, oh so badly :D
A good point to say good night! Thanks to everyone for a lot of fun this evening. Great to chat! Catch up with you all in the morning :D
Yes, I'll get another round in. I really love this site, it is a very good place to be, thanks WDW and everypeeps! - in a time when J's "fandom" is pretty all shook up. I did wonder if paps weren't saying especially nasty things.
I kinda think it's gonna get rougher, with the premiere of TDK coming up - and will on my honor do my best to watch the boyscouts get undressed - oh no! that's not the pledge I wanted to make.
but just kinda hope to be an agent for change (oh no! that's Obama. . .!)
whatever. whatever. g'nite and good luck, every peeps.
but would sure enuff
Hey Ruby! Yes, put the hair trimmers away, you know it makes sense;)
If only we could have official confirmation that the chest hair is staying for POP, my happiness would be complete;)
Night everyone, happy long haired Jake dreams *sigh*
(((Pia)))
Wow, I didn't realize you could see a lot more of his hair in your Pic #9, WDW. I don't know what's going on in these pics, wouldn't venture a guess, but one thing I will say is he really, really is looking the part, even more than I imagined, and really, really beautiful. Can't wait to see the final results.
Sopmetimes a cigar is just a cigar. Maybe the trip to the restaurant was just a trip to a restaurant. I simply can't imagine going out to eat and having people standing out front with cameras so they can take pictures of me. Sure, they could have gone to another place with fewer (or no) paps, but avoiding paps might not have been very high on the priority list. Is Jake happy or sad in those pictures? I can't tell. Maybe he's too hungry and tired to emote... Just saying...
Good morning everyone! Absolutely atrocious weather with flood warnings and the water rising in my car :(
((((Pia)))) Thank you to you and everyone for making this such a fun place to be. Things can get a little rough out there, so good then to shut the door and get in another round. TDK is gonna be rough, I fear.
Hey TL! I hope we have official confirmation about the chest hair very soon.
Morning Get Real :D
Hi Toldja - he really does look so beautiful and I'm losing my hair worries.
Morning Paul :) Who knows as, unfortunately, we just weren't there. Shame as I wouldn't have minded the oysters :D
Have a lovely day everyone and stay dry!
Morning. I'm feeling soggy and I only had to walk a short distance from the car park :(
WDW is a port in storm (one that seems never-ending). Everyone welcome as long as you play nice :D
I believe the restaurant that wouldn't give us dessert was Ghetti's near Leicester Square. The kitchen was closed. Hmmm might have sounded reasonable if it was after midnight, but I think it was 3.30 in the afternoon or something. Won't be going there again.
Have a good day everyone, whether you are horse-riding, doing proper work, visiting museums, or just getting wet while concentrating very hard on growing your hair. ;-)
Morning Soggy Ruby! (and I'm comment 100 - yahoo!). Ahh Ghetti's. Harrummf, fancy closing the kitchen when we were only just getting going. Don't go there, Jake. But the chocolate fondant pudding at Tootsies is highly recommended :D
Maybe rain is good for growing hair?
"fancy closing the kitchen when we were only just getting going. Don't go there, Jake." [WDW]
Jake is a chef himself. Who would object to his going into the kitchen and whipping somehting up? ;-)
If Jake really wanted to raise some serious money for charity, wouldn't it be just the coolest thing for a five star restaurant to host a private party for the highest bidders, so Jake (with some assistance) could cook a meal for them? I'd take out a loan for that!
Hi Paul! I have no objection to Jake in my kitchen doing whatever he likes :D
Hi Anon :D That is a great idea. I remember posting here once about an auction some years ago in which Batali and Jake cooked a meal for the lucky winner. As I recall, the winner was Michael Stipe! Lucky, lucky...
Hope everyone's having a good day - so wet here - a torrent :(
G'day, everypeeps! Hot and muggy today - ! - if I had wallpaper it would be peeling off the walls . . . ugh what a disgusting thot . . . memories of Barton Fink! -
Thots of Jake's chest hair. I think his divine chest and etc. will be waxed because if not the whole world would tremble on its axis and swoon and we'd all be dead.
Not a bad way to go . . . :D :D
G'day, Pia! I'd be a gonna for sure, but, yeah, what a way to go... I'll risk it, please no waxing :D More thoughts of Jake's chest hair...
Doesn't the Prince age in the moive? I remember seeing pictures. In fact, I think towards the end, his hair is shorter then it is in the beginning. Maybe the chest hair is shorter now and bleached and it will get more normal as the Prince ages. The best part is that we can see it's progress...the chest hair's progress.
Hi there anon! Interesting thought - the Prince will change through the movie as I imagine, knowing the game, that he goes through a rough patch before coming out the other side - all sorts of potential for changes in clothes, body armour, hair, facial scruff and - sigh - the chest hair :D But oh the thought of Jake bleaching his chest hair is a terrifying one! I think they should just leave it au naturel for the duration. 'The chest hair's progress', like that!
Barton Fink indeed, Pia!
If John Goodman comes storming through the hallways of your house screaming lunacies, be afraid, be very afraid!
Hey, Paul! Feel kinda lunatic, myself, in this muggy weather. No AC, I dont like it; and it's usually cool in the Berkshire mountains, at least at night.
My basil has black spots and cilantro is yellowish. But - no dreadful peeling wallpaper, TBTG!
And no screamin' John Goodman.
Hi Paul :D What a thought...
