Free City Jake and Reese out for a Santa Monica breakfast - Thursday 23 October
The Jake Gyllenhaal drought is over with a deluge... So that's why Jake and Reese went jogging with their friends on Thursday - they had a breakfast to run off. Here are Jake and Reese out and about on Thursday morning, with Jake wearing another spectacular jumper (my excitement at his Free City hoodie is intensified because I have that hoodie, but in blue).

Wow indeed, Anon! I LOVE Jake in that hoodie. It should be compulsory that he has to wear it at least once a week...
I want to have breakfast with him too.

Hi M! Oh, I love Santa Monica - I do like the jugs of Margaritas at Bubba's on the pier. But the market on Wednesday off Main Street is just great. It's a good walk to Brentwood too. So keep your eyes peeled, but have such a good time. It would be great just to get away from this weather! :D
Sorry, WDW, I forgot to say hope you feel better soon! Seeing Jake in that hoodie must have wiped out my brain. These pics of Jake and Reese are quite nice, especially the 4th one. *sigh*

WDW, I'm entirely confused. Since I read with great interest of your journey to Los Angeles, I wish you can tell me.
I have read that Reese and Jake live in Brentwood. I have even seen the pictures of them at the stores there. I also heard of the ranch in Ojai which Reese has bought.
Now we are having lots of pictures of them in Santa Monica. Is Santa Monica near Los Angeles? Is Santa Monica near Brentwood? Is Brentwood near Los Angeles? Is Ojai near Los Angeles or is it out in the countryside?
Good morning everyone - it's a yucky day out there which is appropriate because my cold is bad and I still have no voice.
Hi Anon! I'm so glad you followed the LA trip back in February. I could do with some of that un right now. LA is a really confusing place as it covers such a big area. But the parts that Jake, and Jake and Reese are seen in aren't that far apart. Simplifying it, Brentwood is half way between Beverly Hills and Santa Monica. It's a lovely walk from Brentwood to Santa Monica and then onto Venice Beach - lots of shops and cafes, and also walking along the seafront. As far as I know, Ojai is some distant out of LA in the country. I've been to LA a fair amount over the years and, on a sunny weekend, Santa Monica is such a great place to be.
Incidentally, it now looks like Just Jared had the date wrong for these pics and they were actually taken Saturday morning.

Sorry to know you are not feeling well, WDW. If you have a cold, you must not eat dairy. That includes ice cream. You must avoid dairy, red meat and yeasty breads. Eat only fruits vegetables and drink lots of clear chicken broth. You will be well very much quicker.

Thanks so much, Anon :) I'm a veggie so I'm substituting ice cream for the chicken broth, but that is the only dairy I'm eating, honest. Although today I don't feel like eating anything - just tea. I need Jake to rustle up something tempting...
Hope everyone else is doing ok, and weren't caught out by the clocks this morning - all my clocks now say something different, it's too confusing. Have they gone back in the US?
WDW, end of Daylight Savings for the US is the first Sunday in November, or next Sunday, Nov. 2 :)
