The stakeout worked... Proving the adage right about always returning to the scene (on mutiple occasions when they serve good coffee), Jake Clyde Gyllenhaal and Reese Bonnie Witherspoon have just been spotted together at Peet's Coffe and Tea House in Santa Monica. Just over a week after the camera incident, the dastardly duo returned to the scene on Friday 16 January (following Jake's solo two-cupped reccie on 11 January), possibly after a matching pair.
However, top points awarded for the disguise of a beanie and a hat, being able to text while walking down steps and the diversionary going-in-different-directions tactic.

Jogging and coffee (or tea)... what a combination! I will never understand the LA culture :)
Is that the old Y-3 grey hoodie?
Hi there Winterbird! Jogging and coffee at the same time is a mix for sure, as is jogging and coffee and texting. I would have thought a morning jog should be followed by a pub lunch? No? have a good day!
Hello!
I wonder why he takes always a cap or a hood. So much he bothers the hair?
Regards!
Hello Zinquirilla! I don't know why Jake needs a hoodie and a beanie either, especially as it's been pretty mild over there in LA. If he were over here with the galeforce winds we're experiencing, I might not puzzle at it :D Good to see a cheeky grin though :)
Time to baton down the hatches... I just had to run across a field to retrieve the cover that had blown off the motorbike!
Z and WDW Daddy wants look like tough bad guy gang banger. *woof*
Woof indeed, Atti! Jake's wearing his Peet's Caffe no messing kegs :D
I like it when Jake smiles for the cameras, even if he is just carrying a cup of coffee. In those pics, Jake is smiling almost all the time, while Reese seems preoccupied (she smiles beautifully in the last one). If, has been suggested, Jake doesn't take well to being photographed inside, i.e. at a restaurant table, he is certainly gracious when he is outdoors. It's even possible that he has his moody days, like anyone else. Still, I sense that he really does try to be gracious.
