Jake in Stripes - Beverly Hills medical centre, 21 January
After a day of strong emotion, all mixed up with the bittersweet flavour of the Oscar nominations, it's good today to take a moment and enjoy the sight of Jake Gyllenhaal in stripes. With thanks to IHJ, here are pictures of Jake leaving that very familiar medical centre in Beverly Hills on Wednesday 21 January. Yet again, Jake continues to pretend he is still in chilly London with The Beanie but, to compensate, he grants us a glimpse of The Chesthair, for which I am truly grateful.

I know I missed many of you on the last post but I wanted to say a thank you for that beautiful tribute to Heath, WDW. A big ((())) to everyone here and to Heath's family and friends. It is a tribute to him that he received the Oscar Nom today. Can't believe it has been a year...heartbreaking.
Seeing these pics of Jake really helps though. He seems to be thinking of Heath with the striped shirt and beanie. (((Jake)))
Btw, also wanted to say how overjoyed I am about Obama's inauguration. What an incredible couple of days. Feels like the world has changed for the better.
Daddy also give you glimpse of panty guess he don't know I chew off ribbit.

It has been a tough January for me, WDW. My Dad passed away last Sunday, my daughter have had a surgery last Friday, my husband went to the hospital last night...
but I'm a strong gal, you know? Seems like I just can't be weak when everyone around needs me, right? So I will survive.
It's so wonderful to get here after all that and see (call me crazy) Jake's hands. I can't say why, truly, his hands calm me down. Actually I'm here for Jake's hands tonight. Thank you for having them in this post.
Atti, tell daddy Monica O needs a big picture of his hands in order to survive 2009, will you? Just send it over. I'll pay the FedEx. ;)

Sexy Jake always make me feel better although I must admit that his outfit in those photos is not my favorite. And the Beanie... well, I have already given my opinion about it.
Anyway, Jake is always a pleasant and happy vision so thanks a lot for the posting them WDW!!!!
I was fandom confused the other night. I was re-watching the bonus disc for "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" and not paying that much attention when some well know jumping prince caught my eye. It turned out that Emma Watson (Hermione) was telling she had got addicted to play Prince of Persia. It was one of the twilight zone moments for me... Jake references popping up during my Harry Potter time.
Not that I need much encouragement to think of Jake, of course, but it was weird nevertheless. Weird but nice. It got me thinking of the Prince of Persia DVD extras. I hope they have a seven-disc Special Edition preferably all about Jake (Jake training, Jake rehearsing, Jake being applied make-up, Jake trying his costumes, Jake taking a nap between takes....). I would buy it. Wouldn't you?

Hey there Sara! That made me chuckle about Emma Watson - I wonder what she thinks about the movie Prince :P I like the idea of the seven-disc special edition DVD - i think we should insist on it and prepare a list of demands for Bruckheimer, Newell and Disney!
It's not really a stripey shirt, it's more like the plaid you find on a tablecloth! Jake is redefinig "casual." And Heath would definitely approve. Altho, he needs a more colorful beanie.
On the front page of my local newspaper this morning, there was an article about the changes that Barack Obama is making by executive order. The bit about banning waterboarding caught my eye.
Jake made a very important contribution to this action by raising public confidence about waterboarding in "Rendition." People for whom waterboarding was just a word (or just an ancient method of torture form the days of the Spanish Inquisition) could borrow a DVD of Rendition and see how it is being used today in a number of countries. Oh, and Reese and Peter and Omar Metwally and Meryl Streep and J.K. Simmons also helped. ;-)
