Emphasising Jake's hotness is the revelation today that one of America's top ten hottest professors would choose Jake Gyllenhaal to play him in a movie - suggesting that even hot profs aspire to Jake levels of hotness. I'd be interested to know if the UK has a top ten of hot profs...
I had to include this review of the Blu-Ray release of Zodiac, which hails the film as being amongst the top Blu-Ray releases yet. 'It’s a must-own for not only fans of David Fincher’s excellent movie but anyone with a Blu-Ray player. Not only does “Zodiac” include one of the best video transfers that have ever produced for any format, but the special features are nearly as mesmerizing as this five-star movie. Fincher will get a lot of press this month for “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button,” but history is likely to be even kinder to “Zodiac,” an already-great film made even better with one of the best Blu-Ray releases to date.'
This excellent review and tribute to the film that is Zodiac, is certainly in keeping with our recent David Fincher Lovefest. But back to degrees of walking hotness...

Johnny Depp... mmm... I am always a bit ambivalent about him. I think he looks good and he's probably a cool guy and he has the acting chops - but somehow I never fall for his charm - maybe because he never played Jack Twist, that must be it :)
In any case, Jake is hotter!

Mmmn....... Jake and Johnny..... throw in some chocolate and you've got a cornocopia of melting, delicious hotness. Johny has about nearly 20 years on Jake and still exudes this 'jenesaisque' so it's not a fair comparison.
Now if we were to take this seriously we'd have to break it down into categories such as films, genres, actors worked with, lifestyle, muscle-mass, extra-curricular activities, number of moles, cutest butt (which BTW I have to agree 100% with Brad Pitt that David Fincher does indeed have a nice butt - I checked that sucker out back in 2006 - hotness!!)
Whew... I need to go do snow angels in the back garden to cool myself down :DD
Johnny Depp is one of my favourite actors and one good-looking man for sure but nothing and noone compares to Jake for me. Plain at simple.

Snow gone already?! It's about 3-4 inches here and the sun's out. It's gorgeous like Jake, Johnny and David.
I must apologise for not being around here much lately .. *shameface* I feel a little bit like 'cheating' on Jake as another has also captured my heart over the last 6 months. Namely, President Barack Obama - my gosh, that sound great to say!! I've been planning an Inauguration Ball (dinner and dance) that has taken up so much of my time and it was truly magical. Over 100 people attended our black-tie affair (some Americans too) and as long as I live, I will never forget that feeling of oneness and common people from different races, genders, orientation etc coming to celebrate this historic moment with us.
Now that all the planning, preparation and celebrations are over I can recommit to Jake again and revist the altar of his gorgeousness and revel in his happiness. Feels great to be back and feeling 'girly' again. Feeling hot, hot, hot :DD

I really like Johnny as an actor and admire the interesting choices he has made but he doesn't send my temperature rising like Jake.
Johnny does look really good for his age though. I think he's got a timeless quality about him. I'd like to invite him to a dinner party as I think he would be a good conversationalist.
