Well, now here's a sight for sore eyes - who needs chocolate, Easter bunnies and newborn lambs and chicks when you can get a look at Jake Spandex Gyllenhaal? Today, Jake's been working off those Cadbury's creme egg calories with some cycling around Santa Monica with Austin Nichols, both of whom took the opportunity to model the latest Stripey Spandex - Jake in the white version and Austin in the black.
There was a
rumour today that Amazon had reclassified its spandex cycling outfits as Adult costumes, removing their sales ranking and their appearance in searches. However, it turned out this was a
glitch and Spandex has now been restored to its rightful category. Phew, I was
worried there...
Edited to add: And as the sun warmed up, the layers came off...

I can bear the sight of the helmet and the shades squashing Jake's poor ears out of shape only because I know it is important for his safety, though... :D :D

Yeay Jake in Spandex! He and Austin look so hot... I have to admit, I hadn't noticed Jake's ears and I apologise profusely for that oversight - something to do with the saddle prodding a different part of Jake's anatomy :D

This Amazon thing has been a shambles and they've clearly backtracked, but how can they even think that they can treat books in this way and get away with it? Recategorising Brokeback Mountain as Adult? Books by Forster and Renault? Autobiographies? All because they come with a so-called gay label or from gay authors. Shameful. Ooh, I feel better for getting that out of my system :D

Why does Jake wear a black armband? is he in mourning? Austin is not wearing a white one...(genuinely curious, tho I agree it is v. hot if it is just for the heat)!
Hi TD! Some gossip sites are supplementing these pics with the 'news' that Nailed will be out later this year, but these aren't quoting from any sources - it's just supposition. That doesn't mean we can't hope! But I wouldn't take these sites as being any kind of source for news.
That's not a mourning armband - it's the design of the outfit, complementing the long-sleeved shirt with the verticle stripe. I think it looks really cool! When Jake was cycling with Austin in March he wore the other version - black with a white armband.
